Simple, quiet rangehood – I bought this as I hated having to yell just to talk over my last rangehood. It was a good unit, until it broke after just three years. To Glem's… Read more
credit, they were able to quickly identify the fault, provided a replacement (improved) part, and got me in touch with a technician who was able to quickly swap it over. So surprisingly good after sales support - thanks Glem team.
Absolute rubbish – Poor build quality, wobbly legs, paint peels, oven door doesn't close properly. Oven doesn't get very hot. Fan is noisy. Very expensive piece of s... Would give no stars if possible.
Cheap quality – Just purchased a Glemgas freestanding stove. Firstly the material thickness and structure is less than adequate. Low grade thin stainless steel and… Read more
extremely low quality strength in manufacture. Sharp dangerous metal edges everywhere. Legs are extremely flimsy due to thin metal base plate and adjustment is a touch difficult. The SS metal marks so easily. Scratched straight out of the box. Oven door seals are all loose. The fan is very noisy. Overall a low quality, badly manufactured stove.
Latest update after 5 days of use: Oven has been on for 40 minutes and still not up to 200 degrees. Fan in oven has started rattling. Future could be interesting.

Seemed easy for the installation by the Glem installer. Our living area is open plan and before this I couldn’t use the old rangehood because of the terrible noise.
It is a good change for us.
Bought a stove but got a house heater, GLEM GS965GGX – Looks great that about it though ,this is a poor excuse for a oven that works better heating the house than cooking something in it ,poorly insulated… Read more
oven, by the time the oven gets hot inside, a fan under the burners comes on noisy, and blows the hot air out thru the front of the oven over the handle and continues to run for up to 30min after turning off the oven ,dont touch the glass behind the handle to open the oven as you will burn yourself , what a stupid design ,see FLIR thermal image sensor outside surface temps, i doubt this meets australian standards (will update and load images when i do) easily marked surface around the burners on top surface, hang on to the door when closing otherwise it will slam it self shut, the back and under the oven and burners has more holes than a sieve to allow vermin in ,it may have legs to keep it off the ground to stop pesky mice getting up in to it but they have a fast track up the gas line to get in ,as for the legs there should have been extra reinforcing in bottom plate of oven to make more stable, but instead came with a couple of brackets to go on back ,burners good but medium one on left side should be at front, dont know how long clock/timer will last exposed to heat ,no night light needed in kitchen as the clock lights up area in kitchen, add to poor enamel coating inside oven,

second repair the hinges broke straight away. This is dangerous and unacceptable. THIS IS A KNOWN FAULT! As the appliance was just out of the 2 year warranty, the response was that they would fix the door with new HEAVY DUTY HINGES. We thought this was fantastic only the new hinges lasted a couple of uses & they to were broken and the door unable to close. We contacted them again and they sent another set of hinges, this time I thought they would last, boy was I wrong! After the first use since installing them, the oven door dropped and there goes the hinges. We contacted them again and now they won’t stand by their product with either a replacement or a store credit. All they are willing to do is send yet another set of these so called heavy duty hinges but we have to install ourselves! Not only that the enamel is peeling off the door. We feel that as the company has known about this fault with the door that a recall should be put on these faulty oven doors. The door is dangerous and could severely injure or burn a small child or an adult.

properly. Took some time to get that fixed under warranty. - The idea of getting home, putting the oven on and then 5 minutes later cooking was fanciful. 20 mins minimum warm up time with a temp setting 20 degrees hotter than needed to get enough heat to cook. - Cooking time for anything was 20 to 30 mins longer than normally required. So 50 mins plus actual cook time. - Difficult to cook pastries and cakes in, either undercooked or pastry burnt. Tried all the options/recommendations regarding pans, position in oven, etc., with little success.
Overall made oven cooking a real mission and not an enjoyable one with poor cooking outcomes. Just did not maintain heat and provide a good cooking medium. Will never get a gas oven again. Really enjoying the great performance from our new electric oven.
