Fire and insurance issue AVOID THIS PRODUCT – Bulbs burn and melt plastic. Causes unit to come apart. Spring coil connection to plastic clips is flawed. This unit will cause a fire and should be allowed to be sold . Be aware of house fire potential .

Heller cheaped out on this downgraded unit. Disappointment plus+ – Shame that Heller went and cheaped out. Not the same as previous TRUSTED model. No improvements here. New model is light & flimsy. Big deal it has… Read more

wheels, it feels unsafe. No more on/ off button - now you scroll dial to highest point to engage fan. I used to highly recommend but now only say AVOID BUYING TO AVOID TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. Heller brand never buy again, just stare at it with contempt for ripping customers off and loosing customers. Reviews and word of mouth CAN help other buyers from making the mistake of BUYING this heater unit and not being unhappy.

Foolish design - giving it to the op shop – I have a white Heller HIM10 ice making machine which was gifted to me 3 or 4 years ago. It has a plug at the bottom of the water holder which is… Read more

meant to allow you to empty the machine by sliding it out from the benchtop and holding a bowl underneath the drain hole, or just placing the edge of the machine over the sink. However, the little plastic tab on the plug is so tiny that it's impossible to get a good enough grip on it to pull the plug out! Therefore, to empty it, I have to lug the machine over to the sink and turn it upside down to let the water run out. As the manufacturer's instructions include the proviso that it's not meant to be turned upside down, this is scarcely satisfactory. I have emailed Heller a few times but received no reply. I'll be ensuring nothing made by Heller enters my home again.

You Get What You Pay For – We purchased this heater on May 8th, 2019, and absolutely loved it. Perfectly suitable for our undercover patio area. But, the pull cord failed and could not be repaired. No more heating. Lasted a year and a bit. Sadly, a throw-away item.

At last, a quiet exhaust fan – I bought this ceiling exhaust fan to replace another Heller fan, model HEX250L, that was unacceptably noisy. It does not have a light, but I did not… Read more

need that. This "250" fan has three blades and a 34 watt ball bearing motor. The noise level is the best I have found so far for a "250" fan, yet the rated volume output is good. This model may be hard to find as it is not available at a major retail hardware chain.

With its power lead, DIY installation is easy if you already have a socket installed in the roof space for a fan. If not, you will need an electrician. If you are replacing an existing "250" fan, note that this fan requires a 300mm round cut-out, whereas many others only require 290mm.

Providing it lasts, I am very happy with this unit.

Good to heat small to medium size rooms quick – I bought 2, works well and is quick to heat. tried in room sized 3 x 3 meters and also on 5 x 4 meters. It works well in these size rooms. Rooms gets… Read more

warm in 5 -15 min normally. Not really sure on auto cut off and restart start. Auto cut off works but have not seen it start back again when the temperature goes down. That is my only disappointment. It is a bit noisy for its small size. It is light weight with a decent size cord. For the price paid, it is very good for heating small rooms.

Very easy to use, however half of the kernels weren’t popped. Even with a large bowl, popcorn was being popped onto the bench and floor. The photo shows how many kernels weren’t popped.

This has lasted under 3 years. When I contacted Gaf repairs . They claim it would be cheaper to buy a new one. We do not have any spare parts. This has hardly been opened as it is simply what it is described as a bar fridge. Never by this brand

instructions? – Just purchased recently. The instruction manual could be improved in the operations/installation if the written instructions were better explained.… Read more

The small text is a nuisance to read. Sizes of the drill bits required for wall installing are not given. Operating instruction states 'turning the handle of the thermostat clockwise or counterclockwise....' is difficult as the thermostat does not have a handle! In the low heat mode, the unit is ideal for our bathroom. Turning it on reveals the room temperature, increasing the required temp is easy, but activating the timer is a little hard to master as the instructions are somewhat unclear. It does the job without any complaints from me, looks neat and tidy and it works. And not expensive with a reasonable warranty period.

This worked great for four weeks, and then died. (Usage: only 1 hour a day, 3 days a week) It doesn't really heat the room, but it is nice when you sit next to it.. that is.. while it is working.

resident and on average the heater is on about 10 minutes per day. Two of the elements no longer work. As it is hard wired, to replace the heater we have the cost of both a new heater and the services of an electrician (not cheap!) I contacted the firm responsible for product inquiries re Heller products (GAF Control) and it was totally dismissive of my concern and offered no help.
