It dries clothes gently and efficiently without overheating them, and I love how quiet it runs. The energy efficiency is a big plus too perfect for daily use. Overall, a solid and reliable dryer that does exactly what it promises! Very nice

wear out so much faster they look old, it has damaged my blankets and throws. To me it is very rough and I am only using the delicate cycle now. It says it’s water efficient but at the cost of not properly washing the soap and softener out (not sure if all front loaders have the same problem). I always do an extra rinse cycle on every load to try and prevent this.
Other than those issues it’s not bad but I miss a top loader as it wasn’t damaging my clothes as much and it’s quicker.

negative review rather then take the time to leave a positive one.
Currently have Q6NAU at 2 years old with no issues, for Hisense's entry model this TV offers much more then what LG or Samsung offer. The picture quality is very good for what it is, I suggest people adjust the settings on Dynamic and enable the extra features such as dark enhancement as they are turned off. I have thrown out my Samsung tvs as I had 2 failures, after only 3 years I did not get my moneys worth out of it.
I paid $680 and it puts it on some of the TV's Samsung and LG offer at that price point. Its way brighter and more vibrant, this TV is good for a bedroom or a theatre room, but I don't recommend it for a bright living room, you will need to get a higher model with a higher nits rate.
The brightness is a bit understated at 400 nits, but I have seen this TV punch way higher to the point it has lit up the room.
Vidaa is easy to use and has all the standard things, the voice control is pretty bad. Overall its a stable OS.
Positives: Bright for what it is Very good picture quality with punchy colour good sound nice looking TV Extremely good value In my experience: reliable.
Negs: Blacks are not the best with a fair bit of backlight glow. This is not a high end model so this is acceptable. Can struggle with high motion with 'Ghosting' occasionally such as when watching footy. Vidaa voice control is not good.

years. I replaced it with another Hisense Heat Pump Dryer Series 3 HDFS80HS only because I wanted my laundry appliances to continue matching visually.
The dryer looks more or less similar externally, but the quality difference is immediately noticeable. The build quality is nowhere near the old Series 5 model, which was no longer available for purchase at The Good Guys. Even small things feel cheaper the end-of-cycle chime sounds different, the door is much harder to open, and the control panel and plastics feel like lower-grade material with a duller finish.
In under 12 months, the replacement unit developed an intermittent squeaking/grinding noise during operation. To make matters worse, the customer service experience has been appalling. Instead of helping, they make you feel discouraged from pursuing the issue further whenever they reply with “no fault observed”. I spent around 5 hours going back and forth over emails with Hisense last Thursday, only to contact The Good Guys Concierge and be redirected straight back to Hisense again.
At this point, I seriously question the reliability of these dryers, especially in Australia’s humid subtropical climate (Queensland). If the product cannot reliably handle normal environmental conditions long-term, it should not be marketed as a durable heat pump dryer for Australian homes.
Very disappointing experience overall, especially considering this was already a replacement unit after a major failure.

having problems. The fabric softener is not dispensing at all, no matter which cycle I use. My clothes come out stiff and smelling bad, as if no softener was added. I contacted Hisense support and went through endless troubleshooting steps — clean this, try that, run a rinse cycle — only to be told they’ve “never heard of this issue before.” It’s clearly a known fault because many others online are reporting the exact same problem. Now they want to charge me to send a technician out, even though the machine is still under warranty. That’s completely unacceptable. A washing machine should last more than a few months without issues, and customer support should stand behind their product instead of making the customer jump through hoops. Very disappointed with both the product and the service. I would not recommend Hisense washing machines to anyone.
Would never go back to front loader – The machine has great finsctions and is user friendly. Ample room for big sheets and compact in my small laundry.

panel. The second I have been using since mid-2024.
The replacement is more consistent, but it still never reaches the set temperature throughout the fridge.
To keep food at or below 4 °C, the fridge must be set to 2 °C, which is the lowest available setting. At a 3 °C setting, the fridge stays mostly above 4 °C, with the top shelves often exceeding 5–6 °C.
This has been confirmed using both digital and analogue thermometers, over extended periods. In practice, setting the fridge to 3 °C results in unsafe temperatures. Only the 2 °C setting delivers acceptable real-world results.
• Temperature distribution is poor. • Cold air clearly settles at the bottom. • The bottom shelves may sit near 2.5 °C, while the top shelves remain much warmer. • The advertised “Metal Tech Cooling” appears cosmetic. • No active airflow is detectable at the vents.
Hisense support advised not to run the fridge at 2 °C, stating it would “overwork the inverter”. That effectively prioritises energy efficiency over food safety, which is unacceptable.
The freezer is mostly stable at -19 to -20 °C. However, despite being labelled “frost free”, ice regularly forms on the freezer drawer fronts. My 21-year-old Westinghouse frost-free fridge never did this.
Design-wise, the fridge looks great. Drawers move smoothly, although the top freezer drawer can stick. The stainless finish is modern and appealing.
This fridge is rated 8-star energy efficient. I would like to know what settings were used to achieve that rating. At the commonly recommended 4 °C setting, this fridge does not keep food within safe limits. A fridge has one primary job. Keep food safe, between 0 and 4 °C, as per health guidelines.
Hisense phone support staff were polite and helpful. However, when I emailed detailed temperature graphs and findings, I received no meaningful response. Also, I was told their refrigeration expert would not speak with me.
Credit to Harvey Norman, who replaced the first fridge without hesitation.
After extensive testing of two identical units, I would not buy another Hisense fridge.

very helpful and easy to use. It even has a setting for quick 15 mins or 30 mins when you only have a handful to wash. Only loses one star because JBHIFI sold it to us with dents in both sides of the washing machine from transit- but it still works great.

where it ends. The unit only has 1700 watts of power, which in my opinion is way to low for such a large fryer. Cooking times take ages. I cooked a hand full of frozen chips in the small basket and 4 pieces of chicken in the large basket. Suggested times on the chicken and chips was 35 minutes on 180C. After 35 minutes the chips had just started to defrost and the chicken was still partially raw. I boosted the power up on both baskets to 200C and it took another 15 minutes for the chips to start colouring and the chicken was still partly raw. I threw the chicken out and ate the soggy chips. That was my experience. Luckily I purchased this item from the Good Guys and they let me switch it over for the Tefal 11L dual basket. What a difference that made, I cooked the same items again at the recommended time of 35 minutes at 180C and both came out looking great. The chicken was fully cooked and the chips were nice and crispy. I know this is a new product and I may have got a dud unit, but after using the Tefal I will not go back to the Hisense if they paid me to. I would not recommend this product.

period. Despite reporting it immediately, the problem has still not been fixed.
I have complained five times. Each time, the technician clearly says the unit is faulty and needs replacement, but according to customer service, no report has ever been made. This lack of communication and accountability is completely unacceptable.
We’ve wasted countless hours on service visits with no solution, leaving us with a useless, defective appliance. Reporting an issue within warranty should guarantee a repair or replacement, but instead, I’ve been stuck in an endless loop of frustration.
This has been a horrible experience with both the product and Hisense’s after-sales service. I will not recommend Hisense to anyone.

So far, so good. Updated – Update, December 2025 We’ve now had the machine for 20 months, and could literally not be any happier. There’s a big range of cycle options- enough… Read more
to keep virtually anyone happy. The washing time is great- we mostly use cold water and a 49 minute cycle, as that typically does a great job. Occasionally we use other cycles all of which very work well depending on items being washed etc. Especially on cold wash, the machine is very power and water efficient. However if you have a big, dirty load there are heaps more options, and you can choose your water temp. There’s supposed to be a wifi connect option, but I didn’t see the need for it so haven’t tried it again- (first attempt on day one failed). Wifi strength in our laundry is certainly a bit iffy anyway. We occasionally use the automatic detergent dispenser, which works just fine - however my wife has gone back to adding detergent manually most of the time as she simply prefers that. Would we buy it again, (assuming it continues to be 100% reliable)? Absolutely yes, very happy with our purchase at this point.
Original review: We have had this machine for only two days, so I’d call this more “initial impressions” so far, rather than a full review. (It’s replaced a twelve or thirteen year old 7.5 kg LG front loader which was starting to regularly trip a circuit breaker, so not worth paying to attempt to repair. The old machine has done well, and done a lot of work!) We’ve done three loads of washing so far in the new Hisense 10kg front loader, and again, so far (ie: early days), my wife and I are very happy. I’ll update this review after a while. We liked the looks, the price, the features, the range of cycles, the water and power efficiency, and THREE years manufacturers warranty rather than the usual two, as with most other brands. There are a large range of cycles, with virtually all allowing options on temp and spin speed, and functionality includes UV for sterilisation, and steam, and auto detergent and softener dosing (which we will likely try later on).
Installation: dead easy, with four transit bolts to remove, one pressure water hose (cold water) to hook up, and one drain hose for the laundry tub. In my opinion, a good test is just diving straight in without reading the manual. My wife often struggles with “tech”, but had no trouble when she did this, and had NO trouble at all navigating around the controls. Once you set a particular cycle, you’ll get an initial rough time estimate and you can then adjust both water temp, and spin speed from the cycle defaults - not all speeds and temps are available on all cycles. (As with virtually ALL front loaders, some of the heavy wash cycles are quite lengthy, but you’d only need these for very heavily soiled items. Some cycles have up to 1500rpm spin, but we used the quick “49” min cycle initially for a load of four towels and four cushion covers, with a 800rpm speed. Results were excellent, and the towels etc came out needing only a very short line dry in the sun! At a wild guess, I’ll suspect we will use this cycle the most. (There’s also for example a very quick 15 min cycle.)
Whilst the first cycle was working away, I started reading the manual, and will hopefully finish that over the next day so I understand everything as well as possible, but initial impressions are that it’s all rather straight forward. Just one minor problem encountered at this stage: I’ve yet to succeed hooking up the wifi /app functionality, as the first attempt failed, (didn’t recognise the product bar code) so I’ll try again later, though that’s NOT a deal breaker, and certainly not a major reason why we bought the machine.
Very happy – I bought 2 one for a fridge one for a freezer. Fridge is so cold it's awesome and freezer freezes ice so quickly. I'm very impressed.

and was worried it’ll be too big but it worked out perfect! So spacious, fits everything we need and it has handy and well designed storage drawers. It’s sleek and looks nice in our kitchen and the french doors are great. It does show finger marks but it’s not too bad. The water dispenser is great, it provides chilled water which is not warm nor freezing cold and I find it to be just the right cool temperature of water. The ice maker is fabulous and ice is always available on demand. The fridge is not noisy at all but when the ice drops here and there you will hear it if you’re in the same room. The freezer is massive and fits everything we need. Overall great fridge for a good price, I have seen mixed reviews so if any issues do occur I’ll update the review but overall happy currently.
