It is huge and leaves a big hole in ceiling and no idea how to fix the hole it made. It worked for one day, fan stopped working and never came back… Read more

on, the heater isn't very hot, used 3 times then it burnt the entire plastic on top of it. The light dimmer worked for two days and stopped working, the wires are exposed in between the heater and light, there's a huge gap where you see the wiring. No refund or exchange offered just some rude guy yelling at us from Harvey Norman so now after spending all that money we are stuck with something that doesn't work.

Buyer beware!! This item looks stylish yet within 6 months the fan stopped effectively clearing condensation. The the entire unit started shorting… Read more

the electricity when turned on. I am in the process of trying to exchange it as it's been less than a year since we installed it.

Very Disappointing - I have seen several other review claiming similar issues.

I was exited to have found a sleek 3 in 1 unit but it is not well made and now I have to pay to have an electrician remove it - find another items and potentially patch the ceiling.

I was hesitant to buy this given the reviews but there was nothing else that was as stylish or didn't come with a fan or light we didn't need. But… Read more

it's been excellent. Takes the chill off and can be felt wherever we stand in our above average sized ensuite. Surprisingly warm for only 800W and even more surprisingly reduces condensation considerably when used with the exhaust fan than when just using the fan. It is a little expensive though I think for what is a glorified halogen lamp.

IXL Tastic Silhouette 3 in 1 bathroom light, fan, heating. Faulty light – Our IXL Tastic Silhouette 3 in 1 has been installed for over 10 years. Recently the central light stopped working in its usual manner. i.e turn the… Read more

main light switch on and press the circular button on the IXL remote. It will only come on if there's steam present and the exhaust fan is running. Any suggestions regarding what we might be able to do to get it back to "on demand without the shower running" ! ?

PS - I've tried 3 different globes in the unit, same result each time.

Had my 3-in-1 installed less than 5 years ago and the fan has recently started squeaking and one of the heat lamps just died. The replacement… Read more

(Chinese-made) lamp packaging spruiks, "long life of 5,000 hours." My heat lamps are so rarely used that a total of 50 hours would be a massive stretch (yes, in 5 years, there's NO way I've even come close to 1,000 hours use per year). Pretty unimpressed with the quality of this Aussie brand.

No good – Purchased ixl tastic Sensation from bunnings, nothing sensational about it. Fan is very weak. Power cut off when heater lights and fan operating. Turned off from mains and started working again. Now the heat light work very low.

No Customer Service – Bought two IXL to replace issues with other vendor product where globes blew fortnightly for $15 each. Then was stuck with an IXL that didnt work,… Read more

multiple service call outs and then finally replaced. During the replacement they removed my heated towel rail, and have never returned since to fix the issue after it being raised months ago. Spent over $1000 with the original vendor issue to end up in a worse situation... as neither of the two can have either two or four globes on and also affect the towel rails. Dont touch IXL products.

Incorrect instruction booklet, warranty not honoured – Unit stopped working, IXL rep attended and decided it was not wired properly pointing to a sticker placed on the generic unit. Instruction booklet is… Read more

as the electrician wired the unit. Instruction booklet not as the Rep wanted it wired. Consumer left in a situation of trying to coordinate Rep/Electrician and supplier. Not buying another IXL product as an extremely poor experience that went on for weeks.

This is a quieter fan than the one it replaced. That is appreciated. It also has a set of flaps which close when it is not in use so you don’t lose… Read more

heat in winter. It is fairly well thought out and easy to install.

BUT it doesn’t cope with ventilation as well as the previous fan or even the one before that. It has a grill cover where water and condensation accumulate and drop onto the floor. The box says ensure there is adequate airflow into the room. It is just 1 metre from an open window which has always provided good ventilation for the previous (noisy) fan - which failed after 6 years. It is a good reminder not to shower for too long but it takes time to wash your hair anyway. It leaves a puddle on the floor when I was my hair. NOT RECOMMENDED. AVOID. GET SOMETHING ELSE.

Like many, the support this company provides is effectively non-existent. When I purchased my iRobot vacuum 2 years ago, I decided to get the… Read more

internal filters at the same time. When I looked through the product categories I j series included Combo j series, but it does not. When I went to finally begin using the filters they did not fit. I sent a message about this and they have not responded. I initially sent my request to the American company and they responded immediately. When I sent them the photo with the package and the filter, showing the size difference, they highlighted that the j series is not the combo j series. At the very least this allowed me to buy the correct size because without that confidence I could get the wrong product again and be stuck in a cycle of trying to get them to respond. I don't know why iRobot don't find a different partner to sell their products.

Difficult to remove the old unit but I managed to replace it! – Removed my really old GEC bathroom exhaust fan and replaced it with the IXL Ventflo that cost $57.00. There were cheaper ones available but I just… Read more

went with the IXL.

Removing the old exhaust fan took quite a bit of time because one of the three screws holding it in place was seized up to due condensation. The tight fit prevents you from removing the old fan until you have sufficient clearance which means you have to remove all screws. Difficult getting anywhere below so I went up in to the attic and managed to force the seized “arm” back in and this released the fan. The new IXL fan works great and even has draught shutters on the top that open and close with the operation of the fan to keep dust and bugs out. Would recommend.

The fan does not work. Brand new bathroom renovation with this beautiful expensive item and there is condensation on the ceiling, the walls and the fan itself. Door fully open in bathroom and atill not removing the condensation. DO NOT BUY
