Maha Powerex
Great product ! – I have bought a set of 64 Powerex AA 2700 mAh NiMH batteries about 12 years ago (yes, 12 years), together with MH-C801D charger. The batteries have… Read more
been used in Canon Speedlites, radio triggers etc. Never had a failure. The only beef with MH-C801D charger was the LCD without back-light (this was the early model). Recently I bought a new charger, MH-C980 Charger Analyser, as I wanted to know how much of the original capacity is left in the batteries (and yes, it has a back-lit LCD). After conditioning all batteries - the lowest capacity was 2290 mAh. The average of all 64 batteries was 2390 mAh. This means that the batteries lost on the average11.5% of the capacity after 12 years of use. I consider this an excellent result. The batteries have been manufactured in Japan, I have no idea where they are being made these days. Money well spent, as far as I am concerned. And - not a single failure so far.
