plug! Surely this couldn't be true I thought. They were correct - the spark plug spanner is the wrong size. The dealer said he knew that Mercury did this and couldn't have cared less. I emailed Mercury Australia and their response was, "Could you please send us a picture of the tool so we can check our inventory". You have to be kidding. It is not only stupid of Mercury to knowingly pack the wrong spanner but downright irresponsible. What if I had been stranded needing to replace the spark plug with my spare?? Words fail me.
