Works beyond its size – I have had this vacuum for years, have used it for virtually everything on my jobsites and cannot kill it, flawless and easy to empty and blow out the filter, wife loves it too for the jack russell hairs which is a bonus.

8ah forge battery failed for the second time, they replaced it but now the brand new battery has no warranty at all. Warranty starts at the time when… Read more

you originally buy the product, it should start as soon as you receive the replacemant. $430 battery with no warranty, horrible customer service and they are just taking the p*ss. If they stand by their products, they would change the warranty period. Business has hundreds of products and will seriously think twice about buying anything from them ever again. Not happy at all.

I bought my second Milwaukee heated jacket at Agfest 2026. The guy told me that I would have to redeem the Battery. I nearly didn't buy it but he… Read more

said it was easy. After trying to redeem it for an hour I took it to the shop where another man redeemed it for me. It only took him half an hour. I have since had 4 emails. The first to say they had received my request. The second to say that it was being processed and would take 8-10 days. A third to welcome me to the Milwaukee team and today I received one saying it will be 4 to 6 weeks for my 'bonus', as in the battery, to arrive. This is disgraceful. It's like selling a bicycle without wheels and expecting the wheels to arrive 6 weeks later. My first Milwaukee jacket is about 6 years old and is still going. I have been responsible for several people choosing Milwaukee over Makita but never again. Products should be sold fit for purpose. A heated jacket without a battery is not fit for purpose. BTW I just received my fifth email telling me the above and how I can log in to follow the adventures of the battery as it dawdles slowly to my letterbox.

Bad batts – Great blower, I’ve always used Milwaukee, not really happy with the amount of my batteries that have stopped, don’t charge ect.

lawn, and the product hasn't let me down yet. I use the 9ah batteries in it, and get roughly 45 minutes of continuous use before running the battery down. My only gripe is the included guard is very large and heavy. I notice they have since changed this, so I have ordered the new smaller version of the guard.

was BRAND NEW, untouched and still in a box when I got it off the seller. Granted I was using it for an average of about 3 hours, five days a week is heavy usage but its marketed as a heavy duty tool for tradesmen and everyone keeps talking about the apparent reliability of Milwaukee tools so I thought it would be a safe purchase. But nope, the hype about Milwaukee is fake and honestly, I would have been better off just buying Ryobi drill from Bunnings as I personally never had issues with my current Ryobi grinder which has lasted me years instead of this junk.

Great tool with room of improvement – Had my chain for at least couple of years. Cuts great and beats the noise of conventional chainsaws. You can easily view oil level. Issues I found… Read more

with the chain bar were when cutting close to the tip of the bar, the chain may go into the bar opening a gap. This happened twice. Milwaukee’s warranty is great, however, the bar quality can be improved. I was wondering if I had the chain too tight, but hard to imagine this would happen twice. Never experienced this with other conventional saws. The chain saw RPM is on the low side compared to others. Aside from that, as usual with Milwaukee products, great product.

uncomfortable to use. If you’re using it for more than a few minutes it’s becomes quite painful to hold. The dust catcher that is attached also randomly opens itself and sawdust goes everywhere. A few design changes could go a long way!

Perfectly fine small vac/dustbuster – Works well. Suction is good. A little noisy but nothing too serious - it does chew through the batteries quickly! Wish it came with a soft-bristle brush attachment for use in the car.

This unit is awesome – Recently with covid causing all sorts of havoc, I was asked to take over and oversee the in-house assembly workshop. Whilst cleaning up the mess that… Read more

was left by the former occupants, literally this was the most disorganised, cluttered, cesspool of a hoarders den I have ever been charged with sorting out. That is saying something because I have 4 teenagers. Anyway, I discovered that one of the compressors was in dire need of repairs and servicing. There was an ecosystem growing inside the tank and airlines because no one ever drained it. The smaller compressor expelled 7 litres of oily water so you can only imagine what horrors lay dormant inside this one.

After isolating the unit I saw these advertised, my wife went down to Sydney tools to acquire one of these units for myself to use at work. The first impression when you open a new tool is instant infatuation, I can assure you that this was no different. I noticed how heavy the unit is and thought it might become an issue. When you are used to a lighter gun weighed down by wrestling with an air hose you don’t notice the additional weight of the battery unit. It feels heavier, but having complete freedom in movement is actually easier to work with. The unit is also nicely balanced and that plays a big part in preventing fatigue throughout the day.

Most days I can easily pull over a thousand rivets with this unit. I’ve noticed that with the smaller mandrels it has the real potential to jam. The operator needs to ensure that the mandrel has fallen into the collector before setting the next rivet. Once I had confirmed my operator error, this issue vanished. The tips have coloured bands that not only indicate the size of the mandrel, but are also used to hold the small bearing in place. This small bearing is what holds the rivet in place and then prevents the mandrel from being ejected forward. It really is an ingenious system. Runtime is really great, I usually get a half a day out of a 1.5ah battery with constant use. The unit is easy to clean and service too. I really can’t say anything negative about this unit.

fast. 11000 rpm is perfect down to a minimum of 2800. It is simply one of the best 125mm grinder out there. I love the snap lock guards. Adjustable in seconds. Length is important to. Don't want them to long that they restrict access. And cutter head height is nice and low for access.. Power is great at 1550 Watts. A market leader. Money well spent for a premium product.

A brilliant 5kg rotary and demolition hammer. Milwaukee Kanga 540s – The Kanga 540S, 1100 watt, 7.5j, 5kg class hammer is now superseded. I bought mine about 2 years ago as a last of stock offer. As an SDS MAX hammer … Read more

It has proven to be excellent, it is the only Milwaukee tool I own, as a corded unit I’m not dependent upon batteries. It was great value at the end of line slow sale, and although at the time I didn’t have a particular need for it the value and performance of the unit was outstanding

As the only SDS MAX Rotary hammer I have it has proven to be invaluable. Easily able to drill into rock hard concrete with drill bits up to 32 mm which is the biggest I’ve needed to use, I have a preference for 4 cutter carbide tipped bits by Bosch and Milwaukee which have proven to be outstandingly efficient at what they do. I also have a range of additional max bits, shovels breakers chisels etc and this unit handles them all with ease. The unit wires around 6 kg plus The drill bit, and while at times after hours on and off of work it may get a little heavy as I am not a big fellow, The heavy duty punch this unit can deliver is well above its weight burden and therefore provides an outstanding weight versus delivery impact benefit.

The unit has proved to be reliable, comfortable has good vibration absorption and is safe to handle, as it is fitted with the usual up-to-date safety features.

While the unit has now been superseded by the 545 S, which in my opinion would just continue the high quality of the 540S, with just a bit more power and a bit more capacity, I believe any purchaser of this unit would be well impressed.

I have a number of Bosch corded SDS plus hammer drills which include the Bosch GBH 4 – 32 DFR, which has been my go to unit for many years when extra heavy duty was needed, the 540 S provided me a further step up in power and a step up in drill bit fitment e.g. SDS MAX, and I have found that generally the quality and reliability that I treasure in my Bosch SDS plus units has been mirrored by the 540S And I have been very impressed with its capacity and Robust design, And for me that’s a real compliment to it. I did get the unit at a very much reduced price however I feel after some period of ownership and use It would be good value even at its retail price which at the time would’ve been in the region of $840. So well done 540 S.

light and also compact enough to fit into most tight spaces. The variable speed trigger is responsive and a choice of top speeds can be selected.

Downside - I find the belt clip to be too tight to be able to use it as a belt clip - I just cannot get it on the belt (or pocket).

I actually own a second tool of the same model which stopped working. It was sent for repair and when it came back the work light was not working so had to be sent off again. About six weeks before the full working tool was back in my possession. Apart from paying $50, the tool was repaired as a warranty repair.

Quite powerful for a cordless vacuum – I have been using this around the home for a few weeks with an 8ah battery, which I received via redemption. I tried with a 4ah battery and I… Read more

wouldn't recommend this as it just doesn't last long enough. The 8ah gives a decent run time, longer than my Dyson cordless stick vacuum.

The suction power is very impressive for a cordless vacuum and it does a good job cleaning up. One downfall is that the floor tool is for hard floors only and doesn't work smoothly on carpets.

I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't for the filtration design. The thing that let's this down is there is no prefilter mesh around the central cylinder tube to stop the fine dust from clogging up the main filter. This results in the paper hepa filter getting filled up quite quickly, so be prepared to clean it regularly by beating it against the floor or wall to remove the dust and dirt. Keep in mind this does get quite dusty so you might want to try wrap it in a plastic bag if you want to stay clean.

compressor, take the whatever it was that needed inflating to the shed. This inflator is so much more convenient. I love the set the pressure and also cut off. Takes all the guess work out of it. As usual with Milwaukee the build quality is solid, particularly the hose and brass valve fitting. I checked out other inflators with plastic parts, I am pleased I got the Milwaukee, I think it will last longer.

I only have a M12 2AH battery and it does me fine for around the house. Very happy.

Milwaukee M12-18AC which is currently $174. The fuse in the cigarette lighter plug blew. And I cannot replace it. I cannot buy this specific fuse in Australia and the only place I found who sells them in the USA won’t ship here. So a $174 tool is buggered by a $1 fuse. I emailed Milwaukee who briefly informed me that they don’t do spare parts. Of anything. The fuse is a 125V 9A slow blow glass 6x30mm fuse.

This is unacceptable and appalling so if it has a fuse, don’t buy it. Because Milwaukee just don’t care and why blow $174 because of a $1 fuse?

Good but missing the "solid build" factor you'd expect from Milwaukee – Overall the Rotary Tool is ok and works well. My only negative comment is the build quality isn't what I would expect from Milwaukee. The big thing… Read more

I notice is when using some attachments the Rotary Tool gets an annoying vibration. For example when I use the supplied Milwaukee cutting discs the tool gets a resonance or vibration at certain speeds. Feels like the tool will vibrate apart. I took the tool into Total Tools where I bought it from and they said this is normal. I've used a Dremel rotary tool and a cheap Dick Smith brand and they didn't vibrate at all. So I would say it is not normal. Also, there is a fair bit of play in the shaft, I can wriggle the shaft side to side, almost like there is a piece missing or like I said the build quality and design is missing something. Pretty annoying for a Milwaukee product to be honest.

Apart from that the tool is fine, I'm glad I went with a battery powered tool instead of a corded tool. Having it cordless is very handy. I bought the tool around 2019 and it is still going strong.

Bits and Pieces – Hammer Drills and Impact Drivers need the proper bits to make them useful. The market has naturally made many options available, and there is the… Read more

problem! I needed long life, high performance, easy to read/find, and crucially, fast access to the right bit to suit the job. Also small compact sized, clear markings and a reliable way to swap bits one handed. You would think that this would be easy to find. Strangely, the tool manufacturers failed to achieve this minimum standard. Weird huh? Expense was not a factor here, as these impact bit sets/kits are all actually very affordable. The vibration is very significant due to the impact thing, the good old common magnetic bit retaining method is not really suitable. The magic little device included in this kit looks like a micro chuck. Wow it's pure genius. Just push a bit in, one handed, it clicks home and is locked. Now to change bits, push the sleeve back, which unlocks and exposes the bit at the same time! The kit does not contain any useless stuff. This keeps the size tiny, pocket size is perfect! The bits are quick and easy to access and clearly marked. The price is half that of other maker's offerings.
