downgraded to my swag full time and im getting a new king everyday one. Im a hot sleeper so i find this good in winter and all year but I might buy a second one for summer so I have a thinner one for those roasting nights. Ive had the wool pillows too, im trying out memory foam ones currently but might do a 2 and 2 of each on the bed, its hard to compare them. Minijumbuk need to do a U pillow though, thats 1 thing missing from their range. They cost alot but I guarantee you they are worth it, I know I've paid more over the same years for replacement cheaper ones in my swags than this one cost and its still good today, can't bleach it back to super white so it's going to my swag and a new one upsized going in my room. You won't be disappointed with these, quilt covers can't be hard to find on the cheap but spend abit extra on them, get Aussie made ones and they fit perfectly but obviously a thick doona vs thin doona fit differently inside a cover, dont blame them for you not researching your needs.
Amazing quality and Australian made. Love it – After owning a relatively firm Sealy mattress for a couple of years I decided to buy a topper. I was drawn to the Minijumbuck and bought the Sleep… Read more
Therapy topper. My kelpie knew it was real wool as she took a fancy to the product immediately and kept sitting next to the box. Whilst probably only 30 -40 mm thick it's luxurious. Cotton one side and wool the other with a generous elastic fitted sheet shirt. No ties but doesn't seem to need them. I slept like a baby, super snug but not overwhelming. Absolutely beautiful. Made in country SA and reminds me of a time when Australian made products where common and of great quality. 10/10. Wished I had bought it years ago.
Just a pile of loose wadding stuffed in a pillow protector – Went into Adairs looking for latex pillows, as my old ones from there had been really good. Disappointingly, they said they don't have latex… Read more
pillows, and I ended up buying 2 x Minijumbuk Breathe Pillows in Medium & High Profile. They were on special for $175 for 2, down from $130 each. There was a try & return if unsatisfied period, and the pillows went very flat shortly after this, which did not help my neck pain. They came in pillow protectors, which I decided to wash yesterday. Imagine my surprise, when the "cover" on the actual pillow inside the protector, turned out to be a small flap of fabric sewn to the protector, and the "pillow" inside was just a pile of loose wadding! I can't believe the cheapness of doing this, on a pillow with a retail cost of $130. As you can imagine, it was great fun trying to stuff a bundle of wadding, back in the quilted pillow protector cover.

I wish I’d seen the reviews here before spending this much money. The quilt isn’t warm at all, very thin. We originally got their SleepBetter king… Read more
one from HS and couldn’t even get through a single night with it. I was first blamed for not knowing what a wool quilt feels like …
To be fair their customer service did agree to send us the Thermal one as a replacement and said this one is slightly warmer but it took a week of cold winter and we had to cover the hassle and cost of returning the first one. We were also told they wouldn’t accept a return if we went ahead with the swap. I just think maybe they should’ve just told us keep both to put on top of each other since the new thermal one unfortunately was no better. Still freezing at night Also some weird itchiness with the new one… disappointed.

size. It is way oversized (10cms bigger each side) than the stand Super King size dimensions. I can’t fit it in any of my Supa King quilt covers. Where do I get a quilt cover for it now. So disappointing.

Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired – Spoke with 3 people within the business including Amanda, Crystal & Lucy. Amanda worked in the office, Crystal in their store on the weekend and… Read more
Lucy being the retail manager. Upon my first inquiry, Amanda stated that they would price match Harris Scarfe and they had a special going with two pillows on order over $299. I went into a Harris Scarfe store to try them and was happy. I then called up and spoke to Crystal and placed 2 orders of the gold underlay in queen, one for me and one for my partner. (Amanda and Crystal were both polite and took the time to consult me correctly, a credit to Minijumbuk).
I then received a call from Lucy saying I needed to choose the lower price or the higher website price with the pillow. This alteration in price after the fact is reasonable if other team members have gotten it wrong, but not when someone speaks to you like you're a 5 year old child and does not listen to what you have to say which is EXACTLY what Lucy did. Essentially insinuating that I was lying as 2 other team members didn't agree to that deal. Why would I go take the time to drive to a store, NOT purchase from another store at that discounted price when the underlay was physically there and I could take it home instead of having to wait a week in the mail for an order for the same price? Especially when I'm currently on crutches after surgery and mobility is not an easy task. I wanted to go directly to the manufacturer and support an Australian Owned and Made business instead of purchasing from a retailer that buys in bulk and make their cut off the order as well. It seems big business have customer service in place, where Minijumbuk do not.
Customer Service 101 is ALWAYS listen to a customer, apologise but then diplomatically state your position especially when the answer is no. This was certainly not the customer service I was afforded.
Please note: I have not yet received my underlays, but I own 2 x cool quilt covers, 1 x everyday quilt cover and 1 x cotton quilt cover all from Minijumbuk and find their quality, performance and longevity excellent. Next time, I'll stick to buying from Harris Scarfe and Myer instead of directly so the customer service matches the price tag you pay for the products.
