guarantee, which meant if something went wrong with it during its lifetime they would fix or replace it.
So material on the pack is coming apart at the seams and I approached Osprey, they have said because I purchased overseas they won’t fix it. I find this strange on a product that is made for global travel they won’t honour the guarantee. I then approached osprey global and they said that if the Australian distributor won’t honour it there is nothing they can do. Not once has anyone asked what the issue is or asked for photos
Given this I would not again pay a premium for their products and the warranty is not worth anything.

largest that can be carried on a flight. There is not much more space in it than a jacket and a beanie, in the front compartment you cant even fit in a A4 size flexible 20 page file with your flight details. It is comfortable on the back as it is empty

backpacks I own of other brands). It was incredibly comfortable with 18kg of gear and did not cause any pain or bruising. Although the side pockets are difficult to fill from the top, having the side access proved wonderful for storing a camera or 1L drinking bottle. The small pockets on the front of the harness were great for storing a pocket knife and food bars. My only complaint is the top can slide down a little when full of food, etc exposing the main opening to rain - however, using the rain cover averted this problem. I would highly recommend this backpack having used top of the range Macpac and Mountain Designs packs before this one!
Great quality – I bought the Osprey Daylite 2 litre bum bag/fanny pack several years ago and it's been superb. It's not advertised as waterproof but it's been around… Read more
my waist and has been underwater in saltwater hundreds of times. I wear it every day. Unbelievably the zips are still working as new. To be honest, I have abused this bag and I've totally overloaded it with my large waterproof phone, heaps of keys, glasses, penknife, wallet etc. I believe their warranty says that they will repair the product whatever. Considering that I carry about 10 keys in one of the pouches and a key still hasn't put a hole through the material says a lot about this little bum bag. I'm starting to carry more and more in it, so I've decided to get a larger one and have just ordered the Osprey Savu 5 litre bum bag and if it lasts like the last one, it may just see me out (I'm 80 years old)
