the seams of the fly, in several places. The water drips from the seams, pools on the inner tent, then runs down through the mesh. The zips are cheap. You can hear and feel the zips, how cheap they are. Also, this tent was being seriously whipped by the wind. Im surprised it didnt tear. I've repaired the fly that many times its starting to look ugly. It needs another brand fly, not another Oztrail replacement fly. Majorly disappointed with this purchase.

for roof poles pre attached. This according to oztrail support means drilling out factor rivets in an attempt to maybe secure poles with maybe nuts n bolts, or who knows what. And that's it, sorry we cannot be more help, Goodluck. Now the proud owner of a broken ensuite tent and a couple of perfectly good spare part poles, neither of which are usable. Great stuff oztrail, never again!!!!

small side supposedly in negative temps the whole time, however the ice cream became completely liquid and water bottle not even a little bit frozen. It's also quite poor at maintaining temperature with wild variation around what you set, not even using eco mode or anything.

Oz-Fail – My brother has a 15 year old version still great, but this is a shamble with shocking mattress and holes appearing faster than a pair of stockings. I've only used 3 times so far shall but will be interesting to see it in a year.
Mattress – Was cheap and good for the in-laws when they stay over and surprised with the quality.
Good but valve can be finicky - UPDATED worth a second try? – Large and cumfy. Takes time to inflate (especially your first time). It self inflates... be patient You can put in extra air (not much required).… Read more
most people say do not use your beath to inflate but as yet have found no pump / ,connection that will suitable go over in some way the valve in any fashion (you dent need high pressure at all..)
The trick is making sure the valve is sealed once you have it inflated. It needs to be as concentric and seated in the housing as best as possible (it has no fixed axis it is free floating like many). Valve is tricky enough that we specifically carry a spray bottle of soapy water when camping.. so you get the picture.
Pack up is not as hard as people say you just need to fully open the valve initially and fold a few times then close valve to "air out only" then fold few more times..
The pack bag is oversized because you never get it back to original (like a bail of hay) and yes it is large! but that's comfort.
If i could chose again I would NOT buy just because of the valve (would choose a brand that does not use that type of valve)
UPDATE FEB 2024: Purchased an Exped Megamat 10 LXW (a 100mm - 4" unit) the valves are very good... But its no where near!! as comfortable as the Oztrail Fatmat 750 was when it was not leaking air. The Exped is s l o w to inflate and no mater how you balance the air it still is not as comfy as a Fatmat 750.. (and there is no way I'm going to spend a fortune on an Exped 150mm - 6" unit).
End of day contemplating getting another Oztrail 3D fatmat 750.. just have to pray that the valve works longer than a few nights because sleep is number one when your away camping.

the kids slept in their own tent. Even if I was traveling by myself on the motorbike I could fit this on the bike as the bag is tiny and when going in the car it can fit anywhere. On the first trip I took it away on (see pic, although I think I had started disassembling it when I took the pic so it may be missing the fly) we had arrived there just before midnight and I wasn't in the mood for reading instructions, 5 minutes later it was set up and ready for sleeping in. It was a dewy morning and I didn't get wet at all, the tent packed up back inside the bag quite easily and we were on our way back on the road quicker than normal. My suggestion would be to take a single mattress (not overly thick) for those rock hard grounds such as we found in Duaringa, and invest in some more robust pegs. Apart from that, if a swag makes you feel claustrophobic than this is a viable alternative.

The colours are pleasing and will blend into the surrounds nicely. The two large windows are a nice feature and good for ventilation. The guy ropes seem adequate but I will replace them and the pegs which I think are a little under sized. It is advertised as being 'waterproof' but that is open to interpretation, I would prefer to have a figure in mm's which is easier to compare with other products.
I am happy with this tent and would give it top stars but it is not quite as advertised. It is advertised as having a 305 X 280cm floor space, 280 across the doors and 305cm deep. I loosely measured mine at 280cm X 250cm deep on the inside. It turns out the tent is actually 305cm from peg to peg across the doors and 280cm deep from peg to peg. That sounds like I'm being a pit picky but I may have chosen the other option if I'd known the correct dimensions.

unfolds easy enough not to pinch your fingers. Not so good: The drink tablet attached to the side is not level (tilting forward), the recess not deep enough to securely hold a glass or can/bottle of beer. Okay for coffee/tea mugs, though. Pity, with a bit of thought it could have easily been a 5 star product.

were overpriced . Comfort and the ability to recline in a solid chair that was still ok to eat or socialise in were my criteria . Another big factor was for a comfortable chair for my hour long smoko in a 10 hour day building a massive boardwalk so it’s used every day. It’s always just loaded in the back of my Ute in the open . I have not been rough with it but not dainty either . It is showing no signs of deterioration of the fabric or the excellent wood grain faux arm rests . The looped shock cord is like new and across the whole chair only one punched eyelet is showing any sign of tear and it’s minor . It’s been wet a lot of times but the fabric dries very quickly
It folds out from transport easily once you master it . A person lacking strength , balance and reach would have difficulty with it as it does not collapse into a “ core” like lots of chairs …it is always wide . I’ll edit the dimensions There is a side table and cup holder that slides out and connects to a receiver with a solid click . It stays the same level reclined . Care needs to be taken when folding the chair so it fits properly between the collapsing legs . My cup holder has fallen out . The side table is made of MDF with a very slim laminate which has swollen after exposure to water . You could prevent that by popping out the cup holder while new and running a bead of silicone around it and the rim of the table . I will just make a proper Laminex top for it from an off cut
The chair reclines in a stable way . There is a lock on each side under the arm rest to allow a position to be held . This is also very useful in transport because you don’t want it coming open loading it . I reckon they would be easily stripped if one were locked and the other not
I would certainly recommend this chair if you are willing to move it knowing you will be comfortable

because there are none that cover setting up. I bought this ensuite from Big W. It pops up easily and is easy to stow away, after watching online pack up videos. This ensuite comes with fibreglass rods to install. Four support the sides and rear. These are easy to install and do provide extra support to the frame. Two are to support the roof on both sides. These are a total nightmare. I camp for stress relief and the roof support installation is a huge fail, in my opinion. There is a small insert for the ends to go into and you can see them in the photo. There was no need for the rods to be so long and so fiddly to get in. I gave up. Fortunately, the roof holds up fine without them but not in rain. Honestly, it is easier and quicker to put up to songle ensuits. The tiny centre hook will hold a light. Even with supports installed the hook won't hold much weight as it is sewn into the fabric. There are 6 ropes to peg out, giving this ensuite good stability.
As stated, there aren't any videos showing roof rod installation and now I understand why. There is a zip that allows me to access the towel hung on the outside. When camping where privacy is required, it will be very convenient to shower one side and get dressed on the other side, after pushing the dunny into a corner.
This ensuite appears strong and well made. Make aure you set up with ALL doors zipped. I think I will take my 'no name' single, if there is any chance of rain because roof rod installation is frustrating, difficult and not worth the hassle unless I am camping for at least a week.
