wondering if that was actually the case. Because LA Ice has gone from my favourite soft drink to absolutely disgusting trash to the point where I struggle to drink it.

It tastes like Sprite with cola dye, an artificial taste (even in the full sugar version) and extra salt. It doesn't taste like cola at all. My local store often runs out of LA Ice and has to replace some bottles with Pepsi when I order it. They did the same this time, so I got to taste LA Ice alongside Pepsi Max. I used to tell people it's like a slightly less sweet version of Pepsi to the point where when you go back to drinking Pepsi it tastes too sweet for you. That's no longer the case. Now the difference is stark. LA Ice tastes bad. LA Ice does not taste like cola. Pepsi does. Can't compare to Coke since there's something about the flavour I don't like, but this is the last time I order LA Ice. I don't like drinking water, but I'd rather drink water and get my caffeine from coffee than drink another bottle of this tripe with the formula as it is now.

If you are reading reviews, please be conscious that this change in formula happened some time this year. I was drinking the normal stuff earlier this year. I'm not sure exactly when it changed but most positive reviews will be for the old formula.

If you need to buy this soft drink, the zero sugar version is not as severe as in the standard.

Blend is perfect – Pub Squash is not too tart, like its well known competitors. I love this drink's blend - not too sour and not too sweet, but would prefer the diet version....whatever happened to them? In their absence I have to go with the full sugar version.  Show details
