moved to have these made in China. I used to love Panasonic. No longer. Australia is flooded with Chinese junk. This latest started beeping constantly and can't be reset. I think the electronics are stuffed. I contacted Panasonic and because I can't give them an invoice, they won't help me at all. It have been too hectic here with breakdowns, floods and health issues and the invoice got lost. I forget where it came from.
I have been looking at what replacement I can have but after a couple of hours it is frustrating. No matter what brand and model I look at, I think I have found one until I read the reviews. Every brand gets so many negative comments. I think Australian standards are pathetic. They should not allow imports unless they are well made. The st>pid Govt in Australia made it impossible for manufacturing to continue in this country.
The ST665B worked well and cooked well, but the electronics obviously are pathetic. More so is the lack of support. I had 3 Panasonic microwaves before this one but I don't really want to buy another.
The verdict? I am still frustrated that I can not find a decent microwave that generally has good acceptance with Australian users.

tried many of the recipes but what I love most is the Basic Menu 1 or 2 and I make the Light, Medium sized loaf (the smallest loaf) or it is too high for my toaster. I strictly follow the recipe for the amount of flour and water but add a little more powdered milk, sugar, butter and yeast. It takes less than 3 minutes to put on a loaf.
I quickly learnt that the most important ratio is flour to water. I always weigh my flour.
I ONLY use organic flour, if you are in Australia you can buy this: https://goodness.com.au
Because the bread is not loaded with preservatives etc it doesn't last as long (2-3 days in the summer), which is not a problem when making smaller loaves and it's so easy to make more.
There's a bit of a fight for the crust when it first comes out of the machine, so crispy, we usually dont wait for the bread to cool down lol, too eager. I always place it on a drying rack with a net over, letting the natural air cool the bread.
I often set the bread to make fresh overnight and we wake in the morning to the smell of fresh bread for lunches wafting through the house. You set the timer to how many hours before you want your bread to finish eg 10pm at night is 9hrs for 7am fresh bread (Basic Menu 1).
Never leave the bread in the machine when it's finished or it goes a bit soft/soggy and shrinks. I've had a fail when I forgot to put back the mixer at the bottom of the basin; I've had a fail when this wasn't cleaned properly of leftover baked bread and then failed to turn and mix properly. I've also had many fails when I've forgotten the yeast.
I love the Dough (Soft Rolls / Baps) Recipe, I've learned to cut these into a minimum of 10 rolls as they rise really well and 8 is too big.
My husband makes his Pizza bases, so much easier for him. Pizza are his 'Italian' speciality.
After baking, I've learnt to wrap my tea towel (as shown in my pics) to avoid burns (I've had a few lol) and I immediately drench the tub in cold water, wash the mixer and put back in the machine to dry.
I've had my machine for nearly 2 years, I don't think it has saved me any money, but the bread is delicious and it has become the most important piece of equipment in my kitchen.

clunks loudly when moved from this position.the door is also hard to close and open.
Functionality is infuriating. Having to hit the Micro Power button before being allowed to chiose any other cooking function or time. Also limited cooking time options which are in 1min and 10sec increments.
It is also extremely loud when being used.
As awful as the above features are, the most infuriating thing about this microwave is the heating. It takes at least double the time to heat food compared to any other microwave I’ve owned.
This thing is a piece of junk and I’m seriously considering throwing it away and buying another brand.
DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

identified, simply 'sensed' and cooked it accordingly; with this current model you have to WEIGH the food, and then enter the weight for the microwave to know how long to cook the food. The problem (apart from having to weigh it, which is a pain and I often forget), is that having added this factor to the process, we are only offered specific weights in the programming!! So, an additional step has been added, without the ability to enter the actual weight of the food - eg frozen vegetables offer the options of 120g, 250g etc. What if I want to cook 200g?? I cannot believe that Panasonic have taken a step BACKWARDS, from a microwave that performed the cooking function with ease, to an operation that requires extra work on the part of the cook, AND limited weight options when this info has to be entered. I'm going to look for another microwave, which is a real disappointment as our previous microwave served us faithfully for over 40 years!! Definitely a retrograde step with this microwave, Panasonic. :( :( :( Have had an approach from Panasonic, but nothing that addresses my issue, only an apology and a comment that they will take my comments into consideration. Would NOT recommend this microwave if you have used auto-sensing ones in the past that didn't require weight info!

stopped working. All the Panasonic devices I have previously purchased have been brilliant and the DMR-BWT460GN which has most of the same functions of my old unit, looked like a good replacement choice. However, after operating the DMR-BWT460 for a few hours the outer case of the unit gets too hot to touch. Not sure if this is normal or maybe the fan is not working. I live in an apartment, and to be safe as the pvr has no legs, I have placed temporary spacers underneath to allow ventilation and I manually turn the unit off before I leave the apartment or retire for the night. Not exactly convenient. Does anyone have the same experience or can give me some advice on how to adjust the DMR-BWT460GN to resolve the heating problem.

guests come over. I bought it on 14/4/2023 for $279. Used only intermittently (when guests over) and stored carefully. It failed 20 months later on the first week of December 2024. The bread came out misshapen and flat. It didn’t rise. The yeast and ingredients all fresh and in date. I used the supplied measuring tools and an accurate kitchen scale for flour. I tried 4 more loaves with different settings, different flour types and recipes (from the included booklet). Abject failure. Same issue. Really disappointed. Don’t waste your money on this breadmaker. It made nice bread when working but a breadmaker should last longer than 20 months of intermittent use. Conversely, I bought a family member the KMART Breadmaker as a gift at the same time as I bought this Panasonic (at a significantly cheaper price of well under $100) and it is still working well.

perfect cooking and reheating. So we bought it’s new update model NN-ST75LB.
It’s a big 44L size. Whilst it seems more compact than the older, inside its turntable is the same size and all our usual large dishes go in without a problem.
The feature buttons are similar. I was really pleased to see the Vegetables button because, once again, no matter what vegetables we put in, it just cooks them perfectly, even frozen veggies. Same goes with the Fush/Chicken, Pasta and Melt/Soften buttons.
However, the best and most used button is, and has always been, the Sensor Reheat button. No matter what goes in, it reheats perfectly but I must admit, I usually stop it once the countdown chimes if I need it to sit for a minute or so before the covering comes off or the toast pops! It is also perfect for when you might want to add some freshly chopped light veg like zucchini or spinach to canned meals or soup, or if you simply throw in some frozen veggies.
I’m yet to try out the Breakfast button for eggs and bacon, or the packet cake bake option, all which will save huge amounts of energy over the conventional cook top and oven. This microwave is not only a real genius in the kitchen, it keeps our electric bills low.

for bench space. The microwave is spot on with actual power settings rather than Low Medium and High. Convection works perfectly and the preheat indicator is great.
Fortunately I did not buy the oven for its air frying function. I would be very disappointed if I had. The range of food that can be air fried is extremely limited. If you try to air fry any food that is thicker than about 40mm it will be incinerated. The air fryer basket is way too close to the top element. If you want a microwave / convection oven I recommend it highly, but if you are looking for an air fryer buy a dedicated air fryer.

out with really pale crusts no matter what setting, and the other thing was that the blade always got stuck in the loaf (which led to our last machine becoming redundant, as I threw a loaf out with the blades, oopps).
Once the panic buying hit our area at the start of the pandemic we were unable to buy any types of bread from any of our local shops at all, and so the research commenced into making bread at home. I searched for hours on what would be our best option.
Take one, Bread by hand. Take two, take three urrggh I have had enough, I am done with this we don't need bread right?
So, hours of reading reviews on what bread machines were available (which were nil) and between the ones people were selling on Ebay that sold for more used then brand new, I had almost given up. Until I found one on Amazon, behold the Panasonic SD-ZB2512. Oh my I was worried about how excited I was to have it finally delivered, on unboxing and setting it up for the first time I was impressed on how very sleek, modern and functional the machine was.
Flash forward to present times, I have now had the pure pleasure of using this machine weekly for over a year and I am still impressed at the quality of the bread this little tacker puts out. We make bread, pizza dough, rustic scones, cakes, sourdough starter, sourdough and other base doughs. This machine has never has never let me down and has proven itself to be a solid investment.
PROS - - beautiful loaves with perfect density and crusts - lots of programs to make multiple breads, doughs and other sweet treats - looks good - easy to use - easy to clean - blade stay in the bucket (pan) - bucket is super easy to clean - Yeast dispenser allows the yeast to be added at the perfect time - comes with easy to follow recipes - Comes with measuring spoons and water / sourdough start containers
CONS- - Is quite large - is getting up there in price - I dislike how some yeast can become lodged around the control panel (does not effect use, just annoying) - occasionally it scare me when it releases the yeast, as it clicks quite loudly

yesterday. It works like a microwave should, but my old one was sooo much easier to use. I am unfortunately regretting my purchase for several reasons. 1. It's dark inside, so hard to see inside. 2. The writing/numbers on the control panel are hard to see. 3. Most annoying, there's no numerical keypad. Whereas my old Breville microwave, if I wanted 5 mins and 55 secs I just had to press 555. This one I have to press the minute 5 times, the 10 sec button five times and there's no way to get anything that's not an increment of ten seconds. 4. Carrying on from the previous point, if I want to heat something for 25 seconds, I can't! 5. If I wanted to heat something for six minutes in my old microwave I'd just press the number 6 and that's it, one press and the microwave would be on its merry way. On this one if I want to heat something for six minutes, it means six presses of one button, then go, 7 presses in total, compared to one press on my old microwave. 7. The auto defrost function also requires heaps of presses to do anything. It's all little stuff, but would make the experience so much better if it was different. So, things to look for when this microwave chucks it in: numerical keypad most important, white interior (I had already been told that dark interior was bad, but stupidly all the other viable options were also dark inside), easier to see figures on control panel.

oven. When I do a big Greek cook-up. one oven isn't enough. This microwave has an oven feature and it works brilliantly to cook an extra baked potatio dish for example. The fact you can microwave the potatoes for a few minutes to soften them, then bake as normal is such a useful innovation. And then steaming? Well that's great to throw in some veges, add water to the steamer box beneath, and go. To be honest, I don't use the steamer as much as I thought I would. I know it'd be good for bread and salmon and roast chicken amongst other things, but the truth is, my cooking workflow uses other methods I am more familiar with. Our unit does microwave duties mostly, and I'm happy with that.
I like that there isn't a turntable. It means I can fit more in, and it works fine. Cleanup is excellent - wipe with a cloth.
I notice that after certain uses, there is a lot of moisture on the door glass. This is normal. The oven is so well sealed, moisture does not escape very easily. Again, wipe with a cloth.
I'm really happy with this purchase. As a microwave, it's a workhorse like most other units. But to have the added functionality is such a great bonus. The steaming, grilling and baking/roasting are there when I need it. And that, is what I paid for.
Runs at a loud operating noise level – The fridge keeps everything nice and cold , good outlay but operates at a very noisy sound level.

it for six weeks as of writing this review.
Prior to this I had a very old Philips with the three rotatory heads, and it was pretty good until the locking tabs wore off and so the heads would spin instead of being stationary. No parts available.
Then got a newer model Philips that also had the three rotatory heads and somehow Philips redesigned the heads so it did not work as good as the old model. Took a lot of work to get a clean shave with it. And cleaning it was a real chore.
Then I saw a good review in Choice magazine for the ES-LT4B Panasonic shaver which I was not aware existed.
Just WOW! This thing is so good! Very clean shave with minimal passes. Shaving is so easy and quick now. A delight in fact.
I use it dry. Handle is comfortable, run time is great and at the end of a shave it will beep if it needs to be recharged. Which averts you getting halfway into a shave next time and it running out. Charges up quickly.
Everything about this shaver is very well designed and built.
Cleaning is a breeze, just unclip the head and brush out with the included special brush and apply a little of the included oil as per the user guide.

stainless steel strip on the bottom edge. For some incompetent design reason, they made the front panel also all black with very feint white text for button descriptions. And guess what, no backlighting for any areas on the front panel, but just a bright digital clock. Yes have now read other reviews concerning the lack of backlighting for the front panel, so it seems Panasonic don't care about customers concerns there, but are still happy to take your money. So unless you have bright spotlights running all the time in your kitchen, you simply can't see the buttons or their descriptions. So of course under cupboard lighting doesn't work either. That photo is showing a lot more text than I can see due to the phones low light abilities. So even if you memorise the button locations it will still be hit and miss to get the right one! Definitely not recommended for people without 20/20 vision. EDIT: Of course there is an alternative solution to the problem providing you have a 3D printer lying around. This is my first attempt at creating a label, but I got the lettering two big, so will reduce the size for the next print. You could also just use a hand label printer to put white on black labels under the touch buttons. Edit: I should add, after using the microwave for a few months now, that another strange design change that Panasonic created for this model, was to restrict the door opening to 90°, but not so on my previous microwave model purchase. This issue results in increased difficulty in trying to remove a large heavy dish from inside the oven, because your left elbow gets jammed against the door, forcing you to move to the right on an angle to free up your arms. It doesn't make any sense that they would stop the door opening to at least 120°, like my previous model does.
