sound bars (Choice is Australia's main consumer right organization). I was originally wary of Choice's recommendation because it was one of the cheapest, but it's turned out to be great.

The sound is absolutely fantastic. I can now hear the voices and feel the explosions in an action movie! General TV and dramas have fantastic sound. Music is really good -- much better than our previous Samsung -- but it's not brilliant with music.

Note: the the Polk Signa S2 soundbar does not have surround sound. It does have top quality spatial audio with a sub-woofer that doesn't overwhelm the general sound of sports, TV, movies and so on.

I found it really simple to use -- despite the relatively poor score 'Ease of use' score given by Choice (see below). We have essentially left it on the basic setting and are really happy with the Polk Signa S2.
