This company does not provide good product support – I purchased these headphones just under a year ago. Last week they failed - the earpiece came off the headband in my hand. I contacted Roland's… Read more
Warranty support outlining my issue. They immediately replied with a request for the purchase receipt. I provided it by return email and a week later have not heard from them. No replacement had been issued. There are no phone numbers on the site to follow them up.
Great little portable p.a – Roland have really got their act together in the world of music technology and appliances. This little but mighty amp/p.a. can accept inputs from… Read more
mics, guitars, keyboard etc and take a line out to a bigger system. It is versatile and at only about 6 kg will happily churn out a big and clean sound for hours on 8 aa size batteries. Bear in mind it has a bunch of 4 inch speakers so you are never going to get a bass end that moves your gut but it is suprisingly loud. Separate reverb and volume control for a Mic channel and a guitar/Mic channel with some extra inputs for other band members. Has a guitar tuner too. Has effects on the guitar channel for crunch, distortion etc.
It's around $600 AU .
There are areas it could be better such as a wireless Mic as in some of the earlier BA 55 series or to be able to charge without removing batteries but really there are no products that can do as much as this little combo can.
Roland once again proves itself as one of the premium and clever innovators.
My first one was dead on arrival and lucky I bought it from a good dealer who promptly shipped me another. There is a little bug with the battery holder. If I tighten it thoroughly the appliance doesn't work. Aside from this, excellent. Had it a couple of years and it's worked fine.
Love it – Can't really go past the V from Roland. Roland just seem to really nail it when it comes to sounds. Plenty of gain too which is great for gigs so good for me.
Update - after quite a bit of follow-up Roland did provide a new set of headphones for which we are grateful.
