the point where I needed my husband to get the bottle off and eventually neither of us to do it! We aren’t young so it ended up being a useless mop. I emailed Sabco for help and was told it the was tricky to remove and put cooking oil around the bit that goes into the mop. Anyway that was useless. I feel I’ve wasted my money on the mop. It wasn’t super expensive but it wasn’t cheap either. So I’m here to say don’t waste your money on this mop, get a Koh one. Cheers!

Why all of a sudden has this product became an epic failure and total waste of my money with nothing ever being done to rectify the obvious problem of extremely poor materials used in the sponge. Avoid at all costs as it is just a total rip off from sabco with no regard for you as a customer.Bad, bad, bad.

went unanswered. It’s also annoying that none of their housecleaning products are compatible with each other eg their Handle Holders that attach to the wall can’t be use with many of their brooms, mops or dustpan sets.
Can’t hang the mop handle in the green holder. Use the hooks and it can’t sit flat against the wall and becomes a hazard.

perfect. And I do like being able to push up and down a few times in the lower section of the bucket to clean the mop head after each few passes (although it is not entirely effective) and then simply push down in the upper section to squeeze the excess water out. However to mop the floor with a head that is rigidly fixed at a 90* angle to the handle means one is mopping with the edge of the sponge rather than a larger flatter surface, and also that narrow gaps are almost impossible to mop unless you’re able to get directly above them. Furthermore, being only a soft sponge with no scourer patch, some spots still need hand scrubbing. So, I’m happy that it fits, and it will be quick and easy for light jobs, but I’ll still need to keep my heavy duty mop for tougher jobs.

version, that didn't fit the old mop. A great ploy by Sabco's marketing team to have consumers, in the midst of a cost of living crisis, spend unnecessarily!! I then had to go back and spend more money on a new mop just so I could use the sponges. There is little to no glue on the fitting that attaches to the sponge and I have now been through 3 sponges in 3 months, in a little apartment. I even tried repairing with a hot glue gun to save me going back to Bunnings just so I could finish the floors. This is a terrible experience and one that will stop me ever buying a Sabco brand or any other brand associated with Sabco ever again.

ever. By design of the plastic part of the mop head you can't use them in a mop bucket because the head just pulls off the handle. If you release the pressure a touch when squeezing, ok the head stays on BUT the mop isn't dry enough and the floor floats in water, Had a close look at the inside of the mop head and it's an inferior and substandard design to try and hold it onto the handle. The mop head won't stay on with the simple click on mechanism that Sabco products use. Never again . Going back to Oates products with a mop that screws onto the handle and stays on and doesn't end up in the mop bucket. Had to give it one star because the system wouldn't allow for no stars.
Love it – Washable mop head!! Easy to ring out. Easy to use, light weight. Works a treat! Not expensive.
Does the job well – A sound product which works well. Very useful for cleaning high, large sliding door glass. Good value for money. The handle stopped extending after 6 months, but sabco replaced it foc by post.
Doesn’t snap like plastic pegs – Tired of plastic clothes pegs snapping, I bought a pack of Sabco stainless steel pegs about a year ago at a half-price special at Woolworths. Since… Read more
then, more plastic pegs have gone to the laundry basket in the sky, but the Sabco steel pegs are going strong. Still grippy and no rust as I do not leave them out in the elements. So, when I saw them on special again at Woolworths, I bought another pack.
These Sabco pegs look like they are made of one continuous length of wire so do not lose their tension or grip. I’ve found them to be strong and peg heavier items like throws or quilt covers securely to the laundry lines. However the springs are not so strong as to be unmanageable for my arthritic hands.
Before I bought my first pack I was a little apprehensive that they would become burning hot in the summer sun. I am happy to report that I’ve had no problems using the pegs in my summer laundry.
The only down side I’ve found so far is that they do sometimes tangle up with each other in my cloth peg bag. Untangling is easy and takes 2 seconds, but still a little annoying when I dip into my peg bag and end up with 3 pegs linked together.
At $9.90 (or $4.50 on special) for a pack of 15 these are a really good buy.

have these elongated plastic handles at the very end of the broom to hold onto and when using the broom on the floor, the handle bends a lot in your hand. An odd feeling but I figured it was an ergonomic add-on to save your forearms or some such for big or time consuming jobs.
Within 10 minutes of using the first broom, the plastic handle snapped off . What it revealed was that the actual wooden pole of the broom is very short and the long plastic handle is making up for the length! That was the first annoying fact. The second was that there is a very hard stop in the plastic handle so you can't push the handle back on. I had an inch of usable handle hole left and that was it. Pushing that back on, it bends it's way back off within 10 strokes of the broom.
This could have been a singular malfunction on a weak handle and the broom is still usable (by a short person) with it's short wooden pole if you take the handle off. HOWEVER... I started using the 2nd broom soon after and the same thing happened. Snap goes the handle. So clearly it's not a singular issue.
The broom itself is very good but the handles are just absolute rubbish. Employed in such a manner as to save the length of wooden poles by the looks of it and cheapen the manufacture. Why else would you do it... it just makes no sense.
So it's NOT enterprise / industrial strength whatsoever, as they claim. Epic fail Sabco for not doing proper QA on this rubbish handle and tarnishing your reputation for providing it. Back they go.

brush is certainly much better quality. It would be perfect if the lid stayed on properly, but unfortunately it is only secured by a quarter-turn twist lock, and even then is a bit loose. This means it has a tendency to pop off when you're using it, and for the detergent to leak out if it is left on its side.
It's still the best I could find so far out of Bunnings, Big W, etc.
If anyone has a better suggestion, I'd love to hear it. Works well Lid doesn't stay on properly

bins and couldn't find in store anywhere else) so reverted to online.
The lids are very annoying when putting food in so these need constant cleaning because my family seems to be immune to putting anything in the bin without getting it on the very annoying swing lid. The lid often gets stuck open and relies on a tiny bit of plastic which I imagine is easy to break. And through general use some of the plastic has broken off so I dont agree with their "High Quality Durable Plastic" statement.
But the worst issue is they are quite open, big gaps, and flies are constantly in and on the bins and we have now had 3 episodes of waking in the morning to maggots that have come out of the bin and fallen onto the floor. I use surface spray in and around the bins.
