The product works normally, and has to be sprayed many many times and cleaned repeatedly before it would fade mould marks. It works by bleaching the… Read more

stains but not actually removing the root of the problem so the mould will come back.

The spray nozzle has failed repeatedly on the last three bottles I have purchased, dripping more of the chemicals and burning my hands than on the actual location.

When I contacted customer service for a new spray nozzle, they have wrote long essays with no help. Instead asking for long and onerous details e.g

• Store and date of purchase

• Please confirm the size of the bottle

• Batch Details, located on the back of the bottle, if you could please provide and image of this.

• Provide photos of all sides of the bottle, both full length & close-ups of where the leak is coming from. A video of the active leak will assist in determining what may have occurred.

• How many times have you used this bottle before the issue occurred?

• Did the problem happen immediately or after several uses?

While it’s notable they wish to address the root as of the product failure, they have failed to help the customer entirely with their specific complaint. They are only interested in a beneficial outcome for their company.

Definitely would not recommend.

I read the reviews, thought this sounds good, & bought a bottle of gel oven cleaner. I am up to my 3rd attempt at trying to get stove & racks clean.… Read more

First two attempts in warm oven, as directed, third attempt in cold oven. I am writing this while waiting on third attempt. NEVER AGAIN - 2½ hours so far trying to get oven clean. Whilst it is not my oven, it was not that dirty. Second time I cleaned oven, I literally covered a blob of something, about 1cm round, with gel. After 40 mins it would not wipe off. I covered a spoon with cloth and scraped and scraped and scraped to get it off. It is called HEAVY DUTY & it COULD NOT REMOVE a small blob. It should have just wiped clean. I recommend EASY OFF BAM to do the job, certainly not Selleys. So disappointed with product. Those who rated gel 4 or 5 stars, tell me why. What am I doing wrong as I can only manage 1 star as 0 is not an option?

Messy, creates uneven lines, difficult to cleanup without removing chunks from within the grout lines. Applicator sucks.

Garbage product – This was a total waste of time and money, tried it with heated oven and cold and both shifted about 5% of grime. Use Easy Off oven and bbq cleaner, best product i have ever used gets rid of 98% of everything.

Water repellent and waterproof are two terms used to describe the ability of a material to resist the penetration of water. However, there is a… Read more

subtle difference between the two.

Water repellent refers to a material that has been treated with a coating or finish to make it resistant to water, causing water to bead up and roll off the surface. This means that while it can withstand light rain or moisture, it may eventually allow water to seep through under prolonged exposure or heavy rainfall.

On the other hand, waterproof refers to a material that is completely impervious to water, creating a barrier that prevents any water from passing through. This makes it suitable for activities or environments where complete protection from water is required, such as in rain jackets or diving suits.

This product is a water REPELLENT, not suitable for water PROOFING rainwear.

I was using this glue to attach parallel lengths of aluminium extrusion. It does have good initial grab, that much is true. The tube is almost… Read more

impossible to control the flow to get a consistent bead of glue. It is a nightmare to clean up any overflows. They recommend white spirits which can be a disaster on some materials. It melted the plastic drop sheet I was using. So once you have it in place it takes ages to cure. The stipulated 48 hours curing time is meaningless, try 7 days and counting. For a joint that is 16mm wide and judging by the curing that has happened in the end of the tube after a week of curing, the cure has penetrated maybe 5mm into the joint. I am sorry to say that this stuff is absolutely useless. I should have ignored the sales pitch and gone with plan A and used an epoxy instead. Cheaper and quicker. Nowhere in the documentation does it say what kind of joint it makes, ie hard, soft, flexible and it also does not say how strong the joint is. If the manufacturer is going to be so coy about critical details like those, it says to me that they don't think much of the product either. Other than the initial grab, I have nothing good to say about this glue. Now to find the sales person that recommended it to me and to put them straight. I paid $13 to have a moderately straight forward job turn into an epic worthy of Cecil B DeMill.

out. In fact, the gun buckled so it was back to Bunnings. Cheap gun they said, so I bought a better one and with a lot of effort squeezing, managed to get half the job done. Then I nipped an inch off the new tube nozzle and it streamed out. It appears there are traps for beginners. It is a very good product.

As the consistency is quite sloppy, achieving a good finish, in a tradesmen like fashion is challenging. In my 45 years of building trade experience, I have worked with different types of cement mixtures, concrete, paints, putties and a variety of plaster mixes; and have been able to adapt my approach to obtain a good outcome. This one however, takes the prize for being a mongel to master. Yes, it's up on a roof and it looks okay from a distance, just as well. But the effort involved in application and cleaning up is frustratingly disproportionate. Maybe I had the misfortune of buying a bad batch? There are other reports that verify my experience. Selleys is a brand that is consistently reliable, and this one seems to be a departure from their norm. The dried surface is quite tough, more so than a cement mortar, and I expect that its ability to whether would be superior to plain pointing; time will tell.

finally a fix. Well to put it bluntly, the stuff is next to useless under wet conditions, & let's face it we wouldn't pay that price for regular dry application sealant & if it doesn't work in the wet than why pay a premium.

This, is a top product (adhesive/filler that cures under water) – I bought this February 2021. It's a brilliant product. After two unsuccessful attempts to properly seal my swimming pool Skimmer Box, I resorted to… Read more

purchasing Selleys Marine Flex. For under $20 it was well worth the spend!

I had two gaskets that sat on two smooth plastic faces (one inside the pool and the other [on the Skimmer Box] on the outside wall of the pool). There is massive water flow through this "Skimmer Box Gate". I smeared all sides (both sides of the gasket and, the sides of the Skimmer Box and the back-plate).

The product is easily workable (it's cleaned up with Mineral Turpentine). I used disposable gloves so as to keep myself clean.

As soon as I began to tighten the stainless steel screws I could "feel" the gaps had all closed and excess Selleys Marine Flex began to ooze out of the joint. I ran my index finger over the surfeit to smooth it off. The few bits of product on the sides of the pool I cleaned off easily with a turps-soaked rag. The result? Perfect seal.

Now here's the good part. This product cures underwater faster than if the surfaces are dry. Therefore, as soon as the gaskets were fitted, I turned on the hose and topped up the pool. As soon as the water hit the skinning product, it noticeably hardened - quite quickly. I was very impressed.

NOTE: if not cured under water it takes 24 hours per 1 mm of product to "cure". Nevertheless, the waterproof seal stays intact (providing that there is low or little water pressure on it). A 10 Year guarantee brings confidence. Highly recommended for any job where you need an adhesive and, a gap filler at the same time.

Sellys has sold me – Genius idea. Great for walls and stubborn stains. Can even use on shoes ! I suggest wearing gloves if you have sensitive skin as it does cause my hands to become quite dry and irritated.

do this with a cotton flannel, it gets stinky almost straightaway and needs to go in the wash. But I've been using one of these cloths for a couple of months without washing it, and it's still fresh and hygienic (presumably due to its antibacterial properties). The plan is to take one of these cloths to use as a flannel on the Bibbulmun Track, seven weeks of walking. I'm now confident that this remarkable cloth is up to the task. The only question is, am I?

Useless on polypropylene – Works on most plastics - but so do many far cheaper products. Supposed to also work on PE and PP - totally useless at that for anything else than a basic filler. Fails under even moderate stress.

off the spatula while putting on wall patch (Provided in pack) coverage takes 4 to 5 times just to keep on wall, Then trying to sand, it's like a rock, but don't try using orbital sander, as it then flakes off in chunks.
