Everything expected from research and more – We have a large house with kitchen centered in the middle of an open plan area, well away from external walls. This has been a challenge for… Read more

rangehoods to effectively expel everything out of the kitchen and not pervade living spaces at meal times. The two previous ones have been noisy and ineffective so we researched extensively and finally settled on this external motor Sirius model. The unit itself is classically stylish, the buttons simple, discreet and understated. And the pulling power of the motor is great. Installed 18 months ago at time of this review, it hasn’t missed a beat. It might be three times the price of a regular unit but it’s much greater sucking power and oh so much quieter operation, with the external motor in the roof, make the investment thoroughly worthwhile. Easy to install with the kits available. We didn’t need a tradesperson, but to mount and vent it properly some decent handyperson skills are required. An all round excellent product.

This particular model comes with a remote control And can be accessed via an app HOWEVER the setup process is faulty And getting customer service… Read more

to help is an absolute FAILURE unfortunately when you contact technical support they do not know how the app works nor can they help solve any problems with the all. You just get redirected back to sending an email to Sirius which has finally got someone from Italy to liaise via emails back and forth BUT still with no solution or success and they have not responded to my last email over a week ago as how to solve the APP not working. Extremely poor customer service

Great Rangehood – We recently had a Sirius SL 22 900 90cm Canopy Hood installed in our kitchen, using Sirius Easyroof 150T tiled roof kit. Are very pleased with this… Read more

stainless steel rangehood. Two halogen lights at the back give good lighting to the cooking area. The filters can be washed in the dishwasher, which is great. Four fan speeds are practical; highest one sounds noisy but is used only when necessary. Using the Sirius ducting gives us a total of 6 years of warranty. This gives us peace of mind and we are looking forward to a long trouble-free use of our rangehood. Marilyne

Dissapointed with this Sirius unit - was supposed to be top of range but was never impresed with it. Was less impressed when the motor got so loud it… Read more

was nearly unusable with a high pitch screeching sound after 6 years of operation, the warranty says 10 years for motor but the service provider would only cover a 6 year period. Won't be buying another appliance from this manufacturer.

Beautiful and contemporary finish and works magic – The new range hood was installed few weeks ago complementing our monochrome, contemporary kitchen. We opted for the model with an outboard motor… Read more

which is encased within the s/steel cover. The appliance itself looks very beautiful and minimalistic, all parts are well made to last and the rangehood works very well, quiet and efficient. We also used the Sirius brand ducting. Very happy with my purchase, well recommended.

Perfect Rangehood for BBQ, Alfresco - Functional and appealing – The rangehood in black goes well with my BBQ which has a black hood, extraction is poowerful and yet not too noisy. The filters are well designed,… Read more

chuck them into the dishwasher which means cleaning them is a breeze. The LED lights is a good feature for brighten up not only the BBQ itself but also some benchtop space. Excellent product.

Useless for a bbq – Judging by the good reviews it sounds like I’ve got a dud. Have cooked 2 bbqs on it with my Weber q in my new alfresco area and everyone chokes from… Read more

smoke inhalation. Sucks up maybe 40-50% of the smoke not to mention the grease already dripping from the filters after 2 uses. Not happy at all for this expensive product

We renovated our kitchen and purchased the Sirius range hood because it looked great and had decent reviews. We bought it in October 2022, but it… Read more

broke down within a month of installation. It took over six weeks to get it repaired, and since then, it has failed once more about 1 year ago with the same issue. Each time, the Arisit warranty process has taken over six weeks to resolve the problem.

Now, it has broken down yet again, and we are facing further delays in booking a technician through Arisit. I strongly recommend avoiding this product. While it looks stylish, the build quality is poor, and the after-sales service is absolutely terrible. I will never buy another Sirius product going forward!

An incredibly noisy unit. When measured at bench height the noise level on the lowest speed is double what the spec sheet said (65db vs 32). At the… Read more

highest speed it is around 50% louder (75db vs 58). Installed with Sirius brand ducting too. For a unit this expensive I expected much better.

Love this... so modern and a great alternative to traditional rangehood. Had two days so far and works well – Suction power is good. Handy remote control. Easy to clean filter. It is a good alternative for a bench island rangehood. Looks lovely and modern. Looks like a feature pendant light.
