I had a problem with a pink Sodastream CO2 cylinder not working in my eTerra Sodastream, so I contacted Sodastream on their website, they emailed me… Read more

back on the same day and a Technician / Customer Support person called Winston rang me back this morning and after confirming my details I started a video call with him, weighed the CO2 cylinder and then put it in my Sodastream machine and it spluttered to life.

I'm so happy. Winston was great (from the video call I think he's probably from the UK).

Sad to understand how they get some bad reviews.

I have 3 Sodastreams . The oldest push down at the top model is far superior to the others . The ART model looks cool but it spurts water from the… Read more

top at every use with anything more than a tiny push .. it is completely useless and messy . I have not noticed a gas leak problem yet as have only fizzed about 20 bottles . I tried filling with less water ( a good cm below the line .. still spews water everywhere

This is our third soda stream in the last 10 years. This time we chose a model with less moving parts in hope that it would be more reliable. After 1… Read more

month the machine was leaking gas from the valve where the cannister attaches. Upon googling, this is a very common fault with newer soda stream machines which are not made of good quality parts so they will fail and have to be replaced.

After contacting the soda stream Australia helpdesk I had a phone call saying to keep tightening the cannister and it would be fine. It kept having the issue, and now around 4 years later it leaks gas EVERY TIME we want to gas a bottle. The help desk says given it is now out of warranty there's nothing they can do despite previously notifying them of this issue- and offered us 20% off a new machine. We do not want to buy a new machine continually after 2 years- it is so wasteful. My parents older model does not have this issue.

Google 'soda stream alternatives' as there are other brands that don't have this issue that we will now be purchasing. Soda stream has really dropped in quality unfortunately.

Bought mine from Kelston Woolworths in Auckland. Last one on shelf and half price...should have known. First time using bottles would twist and lock… Read more

but top seal leaks all CO2 into upper head. So no pressure and zero carbonation of water. I threw out receipt as bought with groceries. I suspect it was a returned faulty put back on the shelf. So can only review this item as junk and a loss of $70 and a bad experience. Deffective out of the box.

Unpleasant Product – I agree with the negative reviews. There is something very unpleasant about this flavour—it’s not cream soda. The synthetic sweetener, synthetic… Read more

vanilla, bizarre colouring, and poor mixing all contribute to an overall unpleasant product.

Luckily, I got this on sale, as I promptly binned it after tasting it. And it’s not just me—my entire family agreed it wasn't something they will drink.

It definitely needs a reformulation; it’s clear that customers don’t like it.

like cornflour.

Unfortunately, these bottles are very unstable and tend to fall over if bumped lightly.

The bases also tend to stay filled with water after washing, instead of draining.

Being able to wash them in a dishwasher without them warping is a game changer
