promptly by Victorinox representative in Australia, however got advise not to wash knife in dish washer. Surprised that $50 knife is not safe for dishwasher, while my other $2 plastic knife from China is ok. On the positive side, knife blade is sharp however of average quality. where I purchased it. They said they could not fix the knife due to that magnifing glass type discontinued and they would honour their lifetime guarantee and now have a larger swiss champ which include the magnifying glass of different constrution. What a great honest company to deal with. Pleasant staff and eager to please. I have no doubt this will last forever. All the attachments anyone would ever want. A very happy man. I will be buying one for each of my gkids for xmas engraved.
