a back lit readable display from most angles. It comes with aerial extender and can plug in an extended aerial as well. Reception is great for both FM and AM and you get what you get for SW. I live in a low lying area and can pick up most FM stations really well. My other radio struggles in the area.

There's a bit of a learning curve as to the set up but it's well worth the price.
