flexible material and escape. This gate also has transparent windows which allow her to see through; we think this helps her feel less anxious about sounds coming from the other side of the gate.

We have it hinged on one end and pressure-fit on the other, as it was cumbersome to manually place/remove the gate every time when using pressure-fit on both ends. It's easy to remove from the hinge mounts though should it be temporarily needed in a doorway.

Adjusting the width of the gate requires a bit of practice, but holds the chosen width setting very securely.

The only shortcoming I've found is that there can be quite a gap when the latch-side pressure pads are fully extended. This gap (between the upper and lower pads) is wide enough for a puppy to escape, but as this is a product designed for babies, it can't be considered a design flaw.

product were fine. As the instructions said, we were able to slide the frame parts under the mattress easily and then put on the side rails. We loved that the rails were easy up and down for story time at bed. Down folded the rail to get us in and out without having to be a gymnast! The mesh sides were great, although not a concern for us as our DD sleeps in the exact middle of the bed and doesn't roll about. solid construction, reliable, easy to use. Tricky assembly.

can fall and climb out, the safety strap is only held on to the seat by the ends with the little flap going through 2 holes. He leaned forward today (after I sent an email to complain) and the back bit snapped forward, and the "safety straps" came out of the holes again. Covienent Unsafe

where the babies nose is so its useless may as well not have mesh at all. Worst of all the base of the bassinet is in 3 uneven panels and bow/sag in the middle. Waste of money.
