Would Give 0 Star if I Could – ---------This place is NOTORIOUS among tenants, read other comments--------- Really terrible experience with Thomson as a tenant. 1. When I… Read more
moved in, the internet connection (the thing from the wall that you connect your modem to) was broken. I requested help right away but did not get any for WEEKS because [name removed] told me the landlord were overseas and couldn't be reached. For weeks I had been on mobile hotspot, and when [name removed] asked me to wait again, I lost patience and proposed a law suit. Then she managed to send an electrician in my apartment within 2 hours.
2. They changed the inspection time 3 times for the first inspection. This just shows how poorly organized they are.
3. When [name removed] came in for another inspection, I again reported items that need to be fixed. Did not get any news for a week (she promised she'd get back to me on the day). According to [name removed], she only works Monday and Thursday, therefore getting back to tenant after a week is perfectly normal. If you like that efficiency, go with Thomson.
4. I happened to cancel the credit card which my rent is debited from, and said I will update the payment info when I see an electrician in my house (See this is what I have to do). I sent [name removed] an email on the 9th (Monday) that contains the new bank details. Yet they called me and emailed me, saying that I need to pay my rent. [name removed] sent me an email on Wednesday morning. What happened to only working Monday and Thursday? Or does she only work extra hours when her interest is harmed? When she does not get her money on time? And when I, the tenant, needs something, it is not quite important enough for her to work.
Seriously [name removed] what's wrong with your email?
I have seen previous comments saying they treat their landlords really well, then why am I, a tenant, treated so poorly by Thomson? This kind of double faced behavior and work ethic is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Hope you understand that not only the landlords are important. Get your act together.
