cover is wipeable and washable. We used it from birth with our son and could not be happier when compared to other bouncers i.e. the one we have at Nana and Pop's place. The bouncer it super bouncy which made it easy for us to bounce our son whilst eating dinner in the early unsettled days. Now our son can easily bounce himself which he loves doing. It's super padded so there is no risk of him hurting his feet and ankles as he enjoys a good kick. The verticle bars provide a lot of versatility depending on how much stimulation he needs at different times of the day and provide the option of attaching clip on and loop through toys at various distances from hands, eyes etc. so there are loads of options for play.
