I really don’t like this bin. We started with the munchkin pail and switched to try the Tommee Tippee one to see if it was easier to refil the bags… Read more

ourselves. Which yes it is if you buy the no frills refills bags but the Tommee Tippie bin smells really bad, you have to really try to open it with one hand and if it’s not full yet it’s harder to get open without lifting off the ground. It takes an extra step to twist off the bin after each nappy and it still smells. Not even just when you open it. We found with the bin closed and the room closed off you would walk in and still smell the nappies. No matter how full it is. I will say it was good how many nappies would fit in a small bin.

We have decided to go back to the munchkin pail and pay for the bag liners each time instead. At least with this bin it comes with a spot to have an air freshener to help tame the bin smell. And it will do a temporary twist after each use. Yes when you open the bin lid it would un twist but we never smelt the nappies while it would untwist for you to put a new nappy in.

I’ve been using the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Day & Night machine for 6 months, and while it worked well at first, it has recently started… Read more

dispensing 20 ml LESS water than it should.

I’ve gone through all their requested troubleshooting steps, taken video evidence, and measured using a precise measuring jug — NOT a bottle, as their tolerance only applies to bottle markings. According to their own official terms, the machine itself has a tolerance of +/-5%; mine is dispensing well beyond that range, making it faulty.

Their customer service has been disappointing. Instead of honoring their manufacturer warranty, they’ve tried to deflect responsibility by claiming a combined 10% tolerance (5% for the machine, 5% for the bottle), which contradicts their official documentation because I provided them with a video of the pour done with a measuring cup. They also kept telling me that it was safe to use that measurement of water to feed my baby. (Highly concerning to suggest I give my baby 20ml less water with their formula). The reality is that this is a machine fault, and as a consumer, I am entitled to a replacement or repair.

For a machine this expensive and vital for making safe feeds for an infant, I expected far better quality and customer support. I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this product until Tommee Tippee improves both its reliability and its warranty service.

Frustrating to use – I purchased this steriliser as part of a pack with a bottle warmer, insulated pouch, plastic tongs, dummy, bottle brush and a 150mL closer to nature… Read more

bottle.

I was happy to buy this package as it was on sale and I've had two other variants of Tommee Tippee sterilisers in the past that worked well for my older children.

This steriliser is subpar compared to the old ones.

The positives first: - Great value for money - Intuitive to use - Compact - saves on bench space - Easily fits 6 bottles and some dummies

Negatives - Needs descaling at least once a week - scale is evident after the very first use and builds up far too quickly - the bottom plastic rack is already warped - needs to be more durable - the design of the lid is absolutely terrible - the small flat handle is not ergonomic and only works if you use two hands. If you've got your hands full (as you usually do with newborns), trying to put the lid back on one handed often results in dropping the lid or failing to align it and knocking the top tray contents everywhere - the top tray is too unstable only exacerbating the above problem

I wish Tommee Tippee had kept this steriliser similar to the previous design.

new baby due this year, however ive had consistant issues with leaking, its so frustrating, ive bought vari flow teats and even tried size 2 and all of them have issues, ive wasted so much money on them its rediculous so I have swapped them out with plillips avent natural response and they've been amazing, with the tommee tippee not only was the teat leaking from the 1 way valve but my baby always had milk running out of his mount down his neck onto me but I dont gwt that with the avent ones. I would not reccommend purchasing these, theyre horrible!

Don't Not Buy these bottles! – Absolutely appalled,Brought 6 tommee tippee glass bottles 6 months ago for our daughter and was using them without a problem right up untill today… Read more

where the whole thing completely shattered in her changing bag. Nothing was done differently had our boiling water in them as per usual ready for her bottles threwout the day and noticed water leaking from the bag, when inspected we'd realised 2 of her glass bottles had completely smashed to peices . Just thankfull that it didn't happen whilst she had hold of her bottle. I'm honestly disgusted and feel sick to my stomach at the thought of it happening whilst my baby had hold of her bottle herself like she dose most days. It's unthinkable what could of happened!

Bottle warmer to hot to handle – I bought this model of bottle warmer thinking that by now after 6/7 years since reviews were posted that Tommee Tippee would have fixed the… Read more

fundamental flaw in this bottle warmer. That flaw being that even on the lowest setting the milk is far to hot to be considered safe for a new born .

I hope that the company sees this review and responds as $ 99 is a lot of money for a bottke warmer that should have been recalled years ago

Easier than their electric steriliser – We purchased this as we were having issues with their electric version. Pleased to say the microwave version is simple to use and great if you are traveling. Quick, easy and simple which comes in handy with a little one.

feels toxic to humans! Very short life span makes this product terrible for the environment. Wish I’d read reviews prior, apparently this happens a lot and the company never resolved it.

So far, so good!! – Have been using these bottles for about a week and they’re great! They definitely slow Bub down a bit so he’s not guzzling milk and swallowing heaps… Read more

of air. They don’t leak like others do which is great! They’re not a cure for colic (and don’t claim to be) but they do help. They’re a bit fiddley to put together with lots of parts, not great when you have a screaming Bub in one arm; but you get used to it. The heat sensor is a bit weird… overly sensitive… apparently my freshly expressed breast milk is too hot lol. Otherwise, I like these bottles!

Poor customer service with faulty item – As a soon to be FTM I really wanted to like this product and company. Unfortunately the Grobag snuggle 2.5 tog (0-4months) I purchased online from… Read more

the Tommee Tippee website arrived with a hard foreign object sewn inside the fabric layers (a sharp rock maybe?). Upon emailing Tommee Tippee customer support requesting a replacement item, I was asked to send photographs as evidence, which I did. I was then politely directed to their returns and refunds link and advised to get a refund (presuming they were out of stock for a replacement as requested) and assured that this was not to their usual standard. The customer service rep was validating, apologetic and understanding and I cannot fault him. However, I am disappointed in the company's return policy, where I am expected to pay the return postage (about a third to half the cost of the original item being refunded). Particularly given it is not a change of mind but a manufacturer fault (proven with photographs and item still new with all tags attached). As someone who is heavily pregnant with limited mobility (hence online shopping) it is bad enough to be inconvenienced having to find the time and means to get to an Australia post store, but to also be at a financial loss to cover the return postage is unacceptable. Any reputable buisness should send out a Paid return postage bag, when faulty items are delivered. I have emailed them requesting a return paid postage bag, but have since been ignored. I expected better service from such a large company and will not be shopping with them again. Ergo and Love to dream can have my future purchases, they at least haven't had hard and sharp foreign objects embedded inside them.
