you 'press' the preprogrammed number, and it automatically dials the number for you. However, they omitted to say you 'have to press and hold' that selected number, and Mum could not learn this new skill properly. I feel they should mention this important step, as I would not have purchased this phone.

Absoloutely horrified at what could have been. I use this monitor mostly at night for my 3 kids and I woke up to find it nearly started a fire. See pics attached. Do not recommend! Too scared to continue using it now. What a waste of money.

recording episodes. I have needed some of the recordings and when I go searching through all the files there are several kissing and usually the one I need. I have persevered with this but today is the straw that broke the camels back. I will be removing it and selling it eBay. I will be definitely be going back to using my DOD LS 470w. Worst baby monitor – Only works in range within 1 metre direct line of sight. Out of range even if you turn around and block by your body.

base station or poor understanding of the actual system/method they are employing in the first place. I have all my numbers loaded... just followed the directions in manual. I have special rings for different people. I have three handsets which, when properly charged give good reception and clear sound. I use blue tooth regularly without a hitch. I use the speaker phone with perfect results. I thoroughly recommend this setup and intend finding a similar model when and IF this one dies... been using it for 5 years now.

which erases everything it has recorded. We have tried multiple cards, same issue. I put the cards in my PC, all the videos are there and there are no faults, the problem is the camera. Its a common issue for all Uniden products. Next, the camera starts recording 5-6 seconds after something large moves across the viewing area within 5 metres but not if theyre walking straight toward it, so yes, it misses everything. The only thing it is good for is live view, but even then you have to click a button every 20 mins to keep it streaming, and then the battery will only last half a day. Night vision is ok, not amazing. You can get face detail if they are looking straight at it from 1m distance. My brother has a swann hard wired 4k setup, it was more expensive but is sooooooo much better.

that could read speed signs and alert me when they change so I don't inadvertently speed. The iGo Cam 75 has this feature and it works well. Uniden says their other cams don't. There are not many in Australia that do. This cam was easy to install. Two brackets are included (one per car) which stick to the windscreen in a similar way to toll tags. It can be tricky to line up the camera correctly before the adhesive grabs the windscreen, but luckily, after pulling the mount off 3 times, it still stuck well for the 4th and final attempt. The camera then easily slides onto the mount so it can easily be swapped to a second car. In operation, the nice lady inside the dash cam announces every sign she sees in a clear loud voice. My daughter (the intended recipient) said it was annoying. I said "PERFECT". In the last couple of months she has missed speed signs to the tune of over $1,000. The display can be set up to constantly show actual GPS speed rather than display the road ahead (I can see the road ahead thru the windscreen), but actual speed is what I want her to see, in nice big digital numbers which stand out more than the speedo in her car and are at eye level. It has done it's job very well. I dropped one star because I feel it should go one extra step. It can read and announce the speed sign. It can constantly display actual speed. It would be the ultimate device if it permanently displayed the last speed sign alongside actual speed - and added an overspeed alarm that you could set 1, 2 or 3 km/hr above the speed sign limit. A speed alarm that changes setting with each change of speed sign limit. This would be perfection. I've already sent the suggestion to Uniden. I hope it happens. I haven't reviewed the dash cam recording part because that part isn't what I was after with this dash cam. I just want to cut out speeding fines. A great purchase.

did not expect anything like the NBN at the time as we were just coming to terms with a digital phone line. It has served us well. The yellow water resistant handset has been used more than the other handsets and up to 200m from the base and amplifier. We also use the intercom function. The Bluetooth connection to our mobile phones was uneventful and it provides an alternative to answering our mobile phones which are normally on charge when we are at home and they are out of reach. With the onset of NBN we have remained with Telstra. The NBN modem was connected to the existing Telstra Smart Modem and the XDECT has remained daisy chained via our Brother printer as we like to have the fax capability on the printer.

bad spares – I called Uniden Friday 21st Feb was put through to their spare parts section, they said I would get a call back. As of this day Wednesday 26th February no reply.
