to 100 metres, and made in Switzerland. The downside is that it gains nearly 1 second a day - or about 10-14 seconds a month. I sent letter to Wenger as my other watch, an old Seiko titanium, loses less than 1 second a month (or 12 seconds a year!). I completed my letter with expressing my disappointment that their Swiss made watch was far less accurate than my much older Seiko.

Their response was ".. the accepted standard of accurace for Wenger NA quartz watches is -10 to +20 seconds/month; equal to -0.3 to +0.7 seconds a day. The maximum deviation is 5 minutes a year fast and 2.5 minutes slow."

Given this, the watch is within their specifications -- and a second a day is far better than my old wind up watch as a child. However, my Seiko titanium is every bit as well made and -- on these figures -- 1000% more accurate. I guess I just expected more than what I received. Solid build. Easy to read dial. Is less accurate than a 2nd hand Seiko titanium bought off ebay for half the price.
