that they could give me a $150-$200 discount. So I went ahead and scheduled a pick up. They gave me a window of 9am-11am. They never showed. I couldn’t find another company that could pick up before we leave town (we are moving) so I called them back and was told they had tried to call me but couldn’t get ahold of me. I never received a call so I verified my phone number and address and they got me back on their schedule. They gave me a new window of 3pm-5pm. They ended up arriving around 7:30pm. Which was frustrating enough, but then they showed me how much it was going to cost. Apparently, despite the websites claim of no hidden fees, there are in fact hidden recycling fees. Which was never mentioned when requested an estimate. They gave me a total of over $1000. Gulp! I told them I was told I could get $150-$200 discount. He said there was no record of that, (even though I showed him the text) but he agreed to give me $100 off. Even with that discount my total was still over $1000.

In hindsight I should have sent them away at that point, but I was tired, it was the last task I needed done before we head out and I just needed my stuff gone. And as I mentioned…I am not a haggler. I didn’t want to delay leaving for another few days. (That was the earliest other companies could pick up.) And I needed a company that would take a mattress. Which most don’t. So I gave them the go ahead and paid them the exorbitant amount.

I feel sick to my stomach. Is this going to send us to the poor house? No. But moving is expensive enough and I feel like I got scammed.

I needed an old dead treadmill to be collected and taken to dump. Small home treadmill, folds up and can be easily moved on wheels, and as can be stacked vertically would take up little room in a van. There was parking dirctly outside and no steps. So I booked a removal for next day at 8am-10am. That morning I got call from Jake driver of the van at about 8.20, to say could only collect at about noon. I thougtht I"d check the price and was told the minimum fee was $295. I was so disgusted I cancelled on the spot.

We had Tom and Yussef arrive at our house today (Monday, 12/1). We also had a very large and varied selection of rubbish to pick up. The service was exceptional. Fast and efficient. They were such great guys too! Very personable and such a pleasure to talk with.

No call, no show. Booked them in for a junk removal for 22/4 at 3:30pm. Got a call just past 12noon to ask if they could come by early. Said no as I was at work, they said no problem see you later. Left work early to make sure I was there, no call / contact. Rang them at 4:46pm to check what was going on, customer service said she'd call the team and get in contact. No contact, rang them back at 5:15pm, went straight to voice mail as it was now 'outside business hours'.

Have not heard a peep from the company / anyone re completely missing my slot.

Have had to call another company to sort my junk removal out at very short notice. Would not recommend. Absolutely terrible.

met with scripted apologies and claims that they "could not contact their team." Furthermore, I found the information on their website to be misleading. They advertise same-day service and operation hours until 8:00 PM, yet every call I made after 5:00 PM was directed to an "after-hours" service that could not assist. This lack of professionalism and communication caused a significant disruption to our schedule with other contractors working on our home. I would strongly advise against using this business if you require reliability or accountability.

Just had Adam and Brandon take away some unwanted furniture and small items in Pacific Pines.They were the most professional and polite guys. Full of energy and obviously like their job. Highly recommend.

someone to arrive within 10–15 minutes to provide access. I was also informed that I would need to pay for waiting time (around $185), which I agreed to without hesitation. However, by approximately 3:35–3:40 PM, they had already left the location and stopped answering calls. This was extremely frustrating. They arrived before the scheduled window, did not allow a reasonable grace period, and left despite me actively arranging access and agreeing to pay for waiting time. I expected much better communication and flexibility within the booked time window. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service.

Had Fred and Youssef attend this morning on a 40 degree day and their attitude and work ethic was fabulous. Very courteous and obliging and pick up of items was reasonably priced. I’m not sure why I was quoted $1’700 to $1’800 to remove my waste, the tip fee was only $400 and only took me 1 hour to load and unload when I did it myself, I can’t understand how they can charge 1’300 to 1’400 for one hours work. I think I’ll just remove my rubbish myself in the future

I wouldn’t recommend 1800-Got-Junk. I was charged $345 on my card for a job, but the paper invoice they provided was only $310. When I queried the discrepancy nothing was resolved, so I lodged a dispute with my bank. My bank reviewed the evidence and refunded me, confirming the charge was incorrect. This kind of mismatch between card charge and invoice amount isn’t acceptable. I hope the company improves its billing transparency.

Phil and Lionel were absolutely exceptional with my junk removal service. They were incredibly friendly, fast, efficient and professional, and made the whole process effortless. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Their attention to detail and positive attitude truly set them apart. Highly recommended — 10/10!

Booked for 10am, was given a window of 10-12, by 12 they hadn't turned up. Called the number and was told someone would call me back. Half an hour later had to call again. Someone called 15 minutes later to say they were another 3 hours away ...

Late to appointment; gave price ( very subjective) supposed to be on the cubic meter of item yet .. yet amount not disclosed, nor calculation, then once quoted you agree and price was then inflated at payment time!
