Pros: Quiet, nice to drive, plenty of power, smooth auto, fuel consumption, finish.
Cons: Floor carpets could be better, should have drivers foot rest, aircon outlets for rear passengers.
Overall: Bought this car new in November 2011 after looking around at other vehicles of this class. I drove both the 1.8 and 1.4 demo cars and decided I could run faster than the 1.8. Ended up buying an SRI V auto. Thought I had made a big mistake as the turbo lag was terrible and the fuel consumption was no better. Anyway after 7000 ks it is a different car with plenty of power and it averages around 7.1-7.2 litres per 100. per tank in a mixture of city/highway driving. It handles gravel roads well without pouring dust in through the door and boot seals which is something my previous car did in summer.
Body is tight and it is very quiet on bitumen roads. My family live up the top of the Perth hills and it has no trouble accelerating up them.
Very happy with the car even though I was told by "experts" that they were junk and I was wasting my money. Don't know why they don't make the 1.4 turbo standard on the base models.

Pros: Fuel Efficient , Handles well , Looks , Good boot space .
Cons: Airconditioner , Stereo , No light on ignition , Rear seats , No Power with aircon on ,
Overall: We wanted a good car and we looked at a few and came across this Cruize . There were various models and colours but they had 1 black one that had been lowered with wide tyres and mags. It look a treat and the wife wanted it.Now for the rundown ? 1st week some [censored word removed] opened there door and put a scratch and small dent on our door. Peed off too say the least. Anyways its a good car that i was able to get 750klms out of a tank on a highway drive into the country with aircon on .Half the way was flat the other half had hills.Around town about 650klm. Dont believe the fuel consumption ratings on the windscreen as you will never achieve it.Going country was comfortable and noise free. Its a quiet car and you can hardly hear the engine. It handles very well and holds the road very well .Poor vision to the right due to the large pillar that holds the airbag but this might depend on your seating position.Power is ok but then it is a 1.4lt ?? the turbo helps but forget trying to put your foot down with the aircon on as its sluggish.Does not like the hills too much either .Other than that it does deliver good power through 3 to 5th gear 60 - 90klm . I love the gearbox as its very smooth. Lights and switches are ok.The Stereo just sucks big time . You just cant get it loud enough to enjoy a good rock song and its like a rubics cube trying to figure the stupid thing out.Dash is layed out good but switches are cheap.Cruise control is ok but beware you increase speed going down hill even with it on.Front seats are adequate but the rear are just rubbish.A wooden bench would have been better in the back. Why did they put the USB port in a console ? Why not in the dash next to the radio ? No electric seats for ajustment and the handle is on the left hand side under the seat so its hard to ajust before you get it.Well overall its a ok car but its made to a price and it shows.

Pros: Reliable
Cons: Leather seats incredibly hard. Extremely noticeable on the 3 hr leg of a day long drive. Wind noise when sun roof open annoying.
Overall: It was a hire car with only 20,000 kms on the clock. Drove well, fairly fuel efficient but driven mainly on straight country roads - can't comment on city usage.
