Here's a list of questions other people have asked about AH Beard Body Balance Tranquility
Still waiting for info on WHERE to find Tran. Plush matt! Can't find AHB head office to make request Everyday Living went into receivership, mattress in on delivery truck, everything frozen.
Need it to relieve medical problem ? suggestions Ruth
Ruth Murnain asked on Mar 9, 2012
Hi Ruth, sorry I didn't get back to you. Broke my ankle and was in hospital last week. Home now with plenty of time on my hands. Just found AH Beard customer service on line, number 1300 654 000. I rang and spoke with a lovely lady called Patricia. Patricia informed me firstly that Sleep City/Everday Living had the only contract to make the Body Balance Tranquility so it is unavailable anywhere else. Apparently they have been on the rocks for a while, which I did not know or would have stopped spruking the mattress. Patricia said that if whoever buys them out still wants that mattress then they would make it for them but, as stated, they actually don't make it for any other supplier. She said taht if you had paid with credit card, Mastercard or Visa, the bank may be able to help with refunding your money. She also suggested calling the supplier at Sleep City, DC at Wetherill Park, on (02) 84129600 to find out where your order is. Patricia stated that she doubted it was on a truck as the stores ordered directly for manufacture from AH Beard and that AH Beard had stopped receiving orders from Sleep City stores some time ago. They may have been selling off floor stock. Anyway, am so sorry for the poor outcome from your purchase. Patricia said the stores themselves are closing early April. I just rang the Kotara Everyday Living/Sleep City store and spoke with Hermie. She said that they only have floor stock left, that she does have a Queen Tranquility Plush for sale but that it is "first in best dressed' The number there is 84129570. I really really hope this helps and best wishes for a positive outcome for both your medical condition and mattress. Cheers Beth

Am so sorry to hear that. Will definitely get onto my amazing sales person here in Kotara to see if he can help with this. Was it Everyday Living, AH Beard or the mattress delivery people who went bust???? I still love my bed....and so long as I keep up the Glucosamine now, that aches stay away

Hi Beth,
I'm finding heating a problem too - have been seriously considering Gel..from Snooze...they've got a bed with technogel top-layer on foam core.. huge reservations about finding something not hot!
hellen asked on Dec 12, 2011
Hey Hellen, Seriously, don't go there. Anything Gel is crappy for heating. I still love my AH Beard, am not endorsed by the company, go to bed sore and wake up relatively pain (and heat) free. See if you can find this mattress in a store near you, take pillows and ear plugs (with a blanket) and try before you buy. Everyday Living, was where I bought mine. Good luck and keep reading reviews but,as stated, either try before you buy or have a 'take back/return/refund agreement with whoever you buy from if you decide on a Gel. Cheers and Happy Xmas, Beth Russell.

We have a latex mattress & find it very hot, we are looking at the Tempur range of mattresses. Are they good & do they hold the heat? Thanks
Trish McClung asked on Oct 7, 2011
Hi Trish, don't really know alot about the Tempur range but steered away from latex due to heat retention. Same with Gel style mattresses. Still standing by the AH Beard for comfort, support and great nights sleep. Have not even taken any anti inflamatories for my arthritis since I slarted sleeping on this bed. The worst thing about it is having to get up out of the bed in the mornings...LOVE it

What [censored word removed], the same sales guy guy is typing all message and answers to AH body balance query. Why are you praising the AH mattress so much? Don't fool around people on internet. I have seen 5 questions and you have typed the same [censored words removed] everywhere.
tarzan replied on Jan 13, 2012
Hey tarzan you (censored word removed) You have no idea who I am so please dont bother accusing me of crap you have no idea about. I am a 51 year old woman who had a rotten time trying to find a new mattress last year. I started to write on this site to help people who were struggling like me. I also posted reviews on the Sleepmaker Gel if you dont believe I am a real consumer, not a sales person.. My comments are not [censored word removed], I love my bed and am happy to endorse it. I dont fool around, waste my time typing stuff or not reply to queries from people who genuinely would like help. Keep your negative comments to yourself, if you dont have anything positive to say bugger off......do I sound like a sales person now ??????

Does it matter if you put your mattress on a board or are slats better?
margaret asked on Aug 7, 2011
Hey Margaret, sorry to get back with the answer so late. I an not sure about a solid board base. I do know that the slat bases must be fairly close together for mattress warranty to be valid. You would need to check with the individual sales people re the base for the mattress you choose. Alternately, generally you can buy an ensemble mattress and base for not much more than the mattress itself. Am still in love with my AH Beard Tranquility Body Balance, even more than on first purchase. No aches or pains anymore, comfy and sleep sounder than ever. Hope this helps and Good luck Cheers Beth

Could you assist me with general sleep info on mattress coil or latex pillowtop etc., on A H Beard Tranquility Medium Mattress?
I want a mattress that gives me support, pressure point relief to assist in good night sleep.
Tamara Barrett asked on Jun 25, 2011
Hey Tamara, I found that the Sleepmaker Gel with a latex core made me heat up terribly, see reviews for same. I cant remember the name of the coil system for Traquility but it supports couples individually to minimise 'roll' together. Am married but Hubby and I actually sleep seperately so not so important for me. The coil system does work to adjust to your body shape and weight to adequately support back, hips and spine...it's great!!The pillow top on the Tranquility firm is less than normal pillow tops while still providing excellent support and comfort. You can also go the medium which is softer again but too much for me.I have never slept so soundly, at least 7 to 8 hours per night. I would truely recommend this mattress but, remember, we are all individual. Try the mattress out for more than 10 minutes at least, Hope this helps, Cheers, Beth
