Lasted 28 years now needs to be replaced – This bed was the queen sized spinal guard grand majesty King Koil by A.H.Beard. Only reason I am doing this late review is because I am looking for a comparable spring replacement after over 25 years of faultless usage. Looking around for a 20 cm high top mattress equivalent in 2023 is like trying to find the Dodo bird. Everything to day is 30cm and higher top mattress and requires a replacement of the spring base. Finding the next replacement bed has become a very difficult chore unaided by even this review site.

Terrible – AH Beard have showed me that they provide an unsafe product and provide their victims with uncaring, dishonest and unsatisfying staff to rectify this. It was one big mistake buying this bed. I'm sorry I am trying to be reasonable but I cannot find anything positive to say. I feel bad but that's the truth of it. Only a one-sided mattress, it cannot be turned over. Unbeknownst to me, they suggest a mattress protector. GET ONE or warranty is a real pain if anything happens to the bed and I have no doubt it will! Allow me to explain my experience.
I had the mattress for less than six months and already I had TWO COILS sticking out of the mattress. Have a nice cut on my leg from the coil scraping my thigh.
I rang to get it repaired (repair only for such an unsafe mattress), and due to a coffee stain on the mattress that was already explained and okayed by the person on the phone when the booking was made, when they showed up to take it, they still refused pickup.
I called and they denied that the lady wavered the stain issue and said due to warranty I needed to pay to get it cleaned before they would fix the mattress (from $90 and up). They seemed more worried about being onside with their staff than their customers that keep them in business.
Great Mattress – Compared to the other review here, we have found the Majesty Plush mattress to be wonderful. Nothing has gone wrong with it and we've had it for more than 12 months. Every night when I go to bed, I lie down and think how comfortable it is. We can't fault the mattress at all and we're thinking about getting another one to go in our guest room. Comfy, soft and good support
