Altec Lansing FX5051 Computer Speakers

OK – Overall a bit disappointed with these speakers. Found them hard to install - settings instructions are limited and hard to understand. Stop working occasionally for no reason - have to unplug/replug power which causes all settings to go and putting volume up to full. Sound distorts on high volume and can't get true heavy base up high, although they do have a lovely sound at a normal level. Haven't succeeded in getting true 5.1 channel sound through USB yet. A beautiful sound clarity and tone on normal volume. The speakers have little stands that can be taken off and supplied wall mounts can be attached. Don't work well on high volume. Can't turn them off at control pod - only mute so speakers still hum slightly. Not been able to get 5.1 channel sound through USB.
