Cons: hard to buy ..
Overall: was very good for our family with two young children with ezcema cases .Now hard to get and children are reacting with other washing products .Very disapoointed that discontinued . its costing me more money to have childrens skin treated than buying the washing liquid ..

Pros: For sensitive skins. Rates environmentally too
Overall: Brilliant product. Started using it years ago as it was rated one of the best by Choice. Also came up trumps in the environmental stakes and also for sensitive skins. Not expensive when taken into account using only one capful per wash in front loader. Purity not as good- too thick and gluggy and not as good a wash. having problems getting supply- Woolworths and Coles appear to have both deleted from ranges.

Pros: Liquid, smell, effective.
Cons: The price - but as I said you don't need to use too much to get results. I wish it came in a larger bottle too.
Overall: I have used this product with each of my babies (3) and love it. I have even given it as a gift and whilst an unusual choice as a baby gift the new mother always comments on their satisfaction. I love the smell and as it is a liquid you don't need to use much more than a table spoon in your front loader for excellent results. Whilst I bought the product with the intention to use it only for washing baby clothes I do find myself washing other family members clothes too but it works a treat at removing stains. I have recently started using it for my son who has severe dermatitis and it seems the change in laundry detergent is making a HUGE difference.

Overall: This laundry liquid is specially formulated to be gentle and hypo-allergenic for baby's soft and sensitive skin. It always does a great job on all clothes and adds a nice fragrance that is not too over powering. It gives a softer finish than most powders. I have been using this product for years and I absolutely love it.
It is quite expensive but it is a necessary product for me as I have to wash loads of baby clothes.
Amolin Sensitive Laundry Liquid is also a great product for washing adults clothes of they too have sensitive skin.

Pros: I first used Purity washing liquid and fabric softener but didn't like the smell of the detergent. I switched to Amolin and kept using the Purity fabric softener. At first I was separating my babies clothes from ours but in the end I washed them all together with the Amolin. I love it. Yes it is great for babies' sensitive skin, but its also a very powerful washing detergent. My clothes are clean bright and smell devine. I still use the Amolin and Purity fabric softener combination. I don't find it expensive as you only need one capfull for a full load. I also have less detergent build up in my machine.
Cons: None its a great product
Overall: I love the fact that it is a sensitive laundry liquid and was pleasantly surprised to see it doing a better job than my radiant liquid on our adult clothes.

Cons: if anything cost and not available in larger size
Overall: cleans fabulously,softens fabulously smells fabulous. An all round brilliant product. A great combination with huggies "creamed rice" fabric softner.

Why has Am-o-lin been discontinued? as it is the only washing liq that hundreds of people can use.,Even got our Kiwi cousins using it.

I believe the manufacturer took it off the market. It would be brilliant if everyone got together and wrote to the manufacturer which i believe is Bayer.

I am allergic to phenylenediamine and methylchloroisothiazolinon as well as sulphurs. I have an allergic rash when using Earth Choice products which contains these preservatives. Does Amolin contain the above ingredients?

Unfortunately I cannot tell you that as the container does not specify. I tried to search for a list however was unsuccessful. My son suffers from skin problems and I use this for him without any problems.

I'm allergic to sulfur and all sulfates. Can I use this product? Does Amolin contain any sulfur ingredients?

Sorry, I didn't actually analyse the ingredients. All I know is that my kids got no skin irritation when their clothes were washed with Amolin but they would get rashes with regular washing powder.

Hvae just read the label and it doesn't say if it contains sulfur ingredients. All I know is that my baby's skin does not get a rash from using this product. Maybe you could email the company they should be able to tell you. Cheers
