Pros: Everything
Cons: Battery power, 1080P HD recording
Overall: I was a user of iPhone 3gs and recently upgraded to iPhone 4. Though we know all technical differences and upgrades through apple website, I am writing the review from operational perspective.
Well, in compare to any other phone in the market, iPhone stands unique and different from anything and the big reason is Apple's unique idea of giving the App development to public at a 70:30 profit share.
Apple iphone 4 is smoother than its predecessors, the brightness has been improved, more pixels means more colors. the big difference which is easily noticeably is its smooth multitasking ability and processing power. This also included the number of high memory intensive games like NFS and others run in this hardware.
The camera has improved a lot including 720P HD video recording quality. Its definitely a pocket camera one can confidently carry.
Though the battery use to get drained quickly, recent released patch have shown improvement in the status. But what can you expect from a hardware running multiple app in the background.
My favoritse app being youtube, FB, mBox, Mail, Mobile Fotos, Angry Birds, Accuweather, Foxtel, Viber, Vtox , etc.. never ending :)
Overall, its a good phone and best hardware to carry apps, music, files and SIM in your pocket :)

Overall: My life is in this phone. Everything I do and plan to do is in this phone. Very easy to use. Much better camera on this phone. Love the way the apps load a lot quicker than other phones. I also like the "sliding" across, it is so much quicker & easier. Only downfall would be the battery doesn't hold charge to the extent I expected.

Pros: Reliable, energy efficient, easy to use.

Overall: I feel the product is great to keep in touch and also great with different applications that can be downloaded to help teach my child what animal are what also how to count, this makes it exciting and fun for her. Another thing I like about the product is that it is able to used as a wi fi outlet to use through your laptop.

Overall: The Iphone 4 is a wonderful new design from Apple. our whole family uses all the applications. from Preschool to adults, it covers us all.Its quite light weight and the slim black design is easy to hold even for our toddler to hold. The applications we use are free and are a great learning tool for our childern.

Pros: Ease of use, handy tool, can access Internet or become a hotspot.
Cons: Battery life could be better
Overall: I bought this phone back in 2010 and I would highly recommend it I'd you are constantly accessing the Internet from your phone. I have had no problems with the phone freezing or reception issues.
It's battery life is okay, it does run down quickly once you get under 20%

Pros: Reliable, convenient, awesome
Overall: I absolutely love the iPhone 4 I can do anything on it from checking my bank account to talking on Facebook it is so convenient I could live without it now it's my life in one compact phone, the quality of the pictures are amazing and all the songs I can fit on it makes everything so convenient it's the smartest phone and so easy to use, everyone had to get one I love it abd swear by it!

it was 34 degrees today and i left my iphone on the table for 5 mins max i remember it was at 94% charge and i came back and the screen was black i tryd pressing the power button and also the middle button nothing happened i also tryd itunes nothing

it's not the carrier, the problem is in the phone. Friends who use iphone 4 with Telstra, Optus and other companies encountered the same problem.

I'm with Virgin (runs via Optus) and I work and live within 7 km of city. I don't have any problems.

Hi, I have a 3G Sony Ericsson Xperia. I was in Singapore and discovered a clipping devise that would resize my sim card to a micro sim...if i buy a iphone, would i be able to use it with my existing contract that i have with telstra ?

Depends on your service provider. My experience with Vodafone and TPG in regional areas has not been good!! I should have brought the Samsung Galaxy rather than an Iphone 4. I purchased the Iphone 4 yesterday through Vodafone and having numerous issues. Regret!!

If you're with Telstra, you should have better coverage than the other providers. I have been out in country areas, and have had minimal drop outs with Telstra, but friends have had no reception on other carriers.
It is worth going with Telstra no matter which phone you decide on, simply for their coverage alone in my opinion. Even in the City areas it is less stress and easier on the hip pocket in the long run. Hope this helps.
