I felt the delivery time was very slow. I ordered the phone on the 10/9 and received it on the 22/10 which seems very slow considering it was coming from Melbourne. Show details

Phonebot - thank you. After a recent bad experience on eBay (had to return the iPhone due to a random faulty touch screen) I was a bit gun shy with the secondhand mobile phone market to say the least. Read up on all the reviews of various mobile… Read more

phone resellers and when you start digging a little deeper it's quite amazing the amount of shonky [Content Removed] that some of these so called reputable sellers are getting upto. Reebelo & Green Gadgets being the worst offenders for leaving people high & dry if you had any issues with the phone or needed any after purchase service. No phone number, no address, just an email address that you could only hope they 'might' respond to if you were lucky.

Upon digging into the reviews of Phonebot it was quite evident that you were dealing with real people with a physical address in Melbourne Australia and phone number that a real person answered.

Any reviews where a customer had an issue with the phone it was dealt with in a swift and professional manner. No shonky [Content Removed] at all! Nothing but dealing with every issue responsibly and fairly. Phonebot even dealt with ease those moron type customers (we know who you are) that were trying on their own brand of shonky [Content Removed].

So this is why I decided to go with Phonebot because I knew if there happened to be any issues that may arise I could easily contact them to get things sorted out. So, ordered the iPhone SE 5G 3rd Gen 2022 256GB - Like new. And when it arrived (in very prompt time) it was indeed in like new - pristine condition even! It came with a solid glass screen protector already expertly fitted and a really good quality protector case. I restored the backup of my old iPhone 7 into the iPhone SE and it's been flawless ever since. It is indeed like a new iPhone. I highly recommend Phonebot for all/any of your phone needs and will most def be recommending them to friends and use again next I need another phone.

J

Follow-up  · To follow up 1 month later - the iPhone has been absolutely flawless. Screen protector and case have been excellent. The backup of my old iPhone was restored onto the new iPhone using a Macbook Pro

Experience with iPhone SE third generation – The battery is not so long life. Some apps don’t work so well as it’s aged.

The best Phone for your home – I purchased this because on Wednesday 13th December 2023 Carsten said that it was definitely a good idea for me to keep my business separate from my personal life since he thought it was a good boundary to have. Show details

disappointing, not great – got this from work and am pretty disappointed. i love my iMac but find Apple iPhones to be too prescriptive vs the freedom in Android. The text/writing is particularly disappointing. Also aggravating is the way that this phone software uses different shortcuts to my iPad pro. Too many controls and shortcuts and information is hidden. It won't even… Read more

tell you which phone it is when you go to Setting/About. I think Apple sells this as a crappy version for workplaces but they are slightly embarrassed about it.

Such a great Apple phone – An iPhone SE is a great less expensive option to an Apple iPhone. The sound quality is great and it has great storage. It’s a great option for someone’s first phone

The Best – We are sold on Apple I phone's. They are extremely reliable and the main reason why we are prepared to pay so much for them. This phone allows for fast charging which doesn't cease to amaze me as to how quick it is. The battery is holding up very well. We paid an extra $80 for a case that protects it and it has served us well. I don't like… Read more

having to pay so much to replace the glass front. It is very easy to break the glass from a simple drop. We were delighted to buy a new car and find that it included 'CarPlay' which is specific to apple phones. Life becomes that little easier. The phone is easy to use, it's all straight forward and nothing is complicated. Photo's come out beautifully, the quality is amazing. The size of this phone is perfect for us. It is smaller than the other I phone's. Even though the initial cost is expensive, given how long it lasts, in the long run it is reasonable. We have had other phones that constantly need replacing.

Started off promising but – The home return of the home button and 5G capability are the only redeeming qualities of this phone. Unfortunately, the battery life is abysmal and call quality is poor, with people often unable to hear me clearly. Even utilising Apple Care Plus proved to be a frustrating experience, as I was charged twice for a holding fee totaling over $700… Read more

until I returned the original device. Despite receiving a new iPhone, the same issues persist and now Apple wants to charge yet another holding fee to replace the faulty device. The customer service experience feels robotic and impersonal, cheapening the overall phone and service.

Relatively affordable way to stay in the Apple world! – I’ve always been an iPhone devotee. They basically shifted the goal posts entirely. The Apple architecture just works for me but when it came time to upgrade from an absolutely exhausted work horse iPhone 6 the issue of price came into play. As someone that always buys phones outright, I was amazed at how much the prices had jumped. Enter the SE. … Read more

The SE is undeniably the entry phone (but now has 5G support!) and rocks the tried and tested look, screen size and, thankfully, the button on the fascia that just makes sense. There is comfort in familiarity! The camera is passable but, be warned, it isn’t the beast that the higher up models boast but still eclipses what was the default not that long ago. It’ll do great shots but you’ll still need your SLR to capture key moments.

I’ve had the phone for many months now and I’m impressed overall. It’s only weakness is battery life. I use my phone non-stop for work, stream music all day at work and find myself always online. The SE loses steam pretty fast and I really should have gone for a bigger storage capacity. If I didn’t have a wireless charger pad in the car and a charger within reach most days then it would pass out. That said, much better than the old iPhone 6 that spent most of the time plugged in during its dying days.

If you are a basic phone user, do a bit of browsing and don’t demand too much the SE is a winner. It’s the way to get/stay with Apple without breaking the bank and it fits perfectly in your pocket. For me, the price dictated the purchase and, after a year or two, I’ll probably upgrade because, let’s face it, iPhones tend to keep on trucking and I can probably pass to other family members to use because it should go for years

Brilliant phone – Love this phone. Nothing I don't like about it at all. I prefer fingerprint recognition, more convenient when using ApplePay and I use nothing else to pay for stuff now. I'm not into fancy videos and photos, so I chose not to go for the 14 and prefer the size of the SE 2022, more convenient in the front jeans pockets etc. Show details

Excellent phone - reliable and one of the best all-rounder's available – I went from the iPhone 5S to the iPhone Second Generation SE 2020 to the iPhone Third Generation 2022. The iPhone 5S was a great phone but the 16GB storage was hopelessly inadequate. The iPhone Second Generation 2020 was really bad with many issues and was returned after 3 months. I have had the iPhone Third Generation 2022 for a couple of months… Read more

and it is nothing short of brilliant. Bluetooth picked up and connected to all vehicles hands-free kits in SECONDS. Overall, this phone is a huge improvement and definitely miles ahead compared to its predecessor. The camera Image quality is surprisingly good. Audio quality is excellent with a crisp, clear sound and with ample volume. I spend a fair bit of time on the internet, and receive dozens of emails daily as well as the obvious - taking and making calls so battery life for me is about 2-3 days. I chose the 128GB version which as more than adequate as I don’t download, or watch movies. Also, I am not into puzzles or gaming so I guess that’s why the battery life is so good. Overall it’s a great phone and never misses a beat. Easy to carry with just one caveat – it definitely needs a good case as it’s as slippery as hell and could easy slip out of one’s hands. A great workhorse - practical and reliable. The iPhone Third Generation 2022 is a phone that will definitely appeal to pragmatic individuals who are not fazed by fashion statements or sucked in by social media influencers. Definitely worth a 5-star rating but because of the absence of a charger which one has to purchase separately, 4-stars it is.

Aluminium outer casing failed within 3 months of purchase – Purchased an Apple iPhone SE and Apple silicon protective case 3 months ago. The phone was working well. However when the phone was accidentally dropped- once only while walking, and despite having plastic protective casing, the aluminium edging around the phone bent out of place and left a huge gap between the glass exposing the interior of the… Read more

phone. Apple’s limited warranty conditions offered a replacement phone at an additional cost of $480. The materials used to make this phone are cheap and are cost cutting. The Apple protective casing purchased with the IPhone SE $55, also cracked at the same incident. The protective casings design is poor because there is a large cutout area at the base edge, where the microphone is. This cutout is weak point and does not protect the phone. Would not purchase Apple again, waste of money.
