Good solid mouse, but showing its age now – Only ever used it on Apple Macs, works well, battery life is OK, but now it is nearly 10 years old it is starting to drop/out reset when using, a quick google found it is a known issue for older devices and you need to increase the pressure on the AA batteries (by adding aluminium foil to shim the negative terminal of the battery), which has resolved the issue and is now working well again.

Bane of my life – I've been using it for a couple of years now so I felt I had to give my 'Magic Mouse' two stars rather than just one, but the truth is this thing has annoyed me since day 1. It frequently disconnects and reconnects (seemingly taking FOREVER to reconnect quite often), it chews through batteries way faster than my old Logitech mouse did, and while… Read more

the lack of buttons for left and right click shouldn't be a big deal, either it or I are screwing up (still) and frequently misreading which side of the mouse I'm actually clicking. Product Review has a note above saying that the Magic Mouse has been replaced by the 'Apple Magic Mouse 2' model so I'm not entirely sure which I've got- Model No. A1296.3 Vdc is what it says on the bottom of the mouse.

Excellent – I like the fact you charge it up. It's very easy to use, it is expensive but well worth the money, easy to blue tooth to your Apple MacBook, I would recommend this product.

Great Mouse, needs better tracking – The mouse is great, awesome clickiness but I still use my Force Touch Trackpad more often. The tracking is pretty useless, and I can only use the mouse on certain furniture. I don't recommend the mouse for anyone with a 2015 or later Macbook or a 2015 or later Retina Macbook Pro. Definitely for all other Mac owners and mac gamers. Recommend Magic Trackpad 2 for Desktop owners.

The best mouse ever released by Apple – I bought this so I can scroll and navigate through my favourite TV Show, Apps, Webpages, Photos and Videos also it is amazing battery life so you don't have to worry about changing the batteries in it for about 6 months or so because you will get a message warning you when the battery is low.

Magic Mouse is magic...mouse – Your typical mouse is an afterthought. It's something your hand immediately goes to when you sit at a computer and the functionality of them hasn't changed all that much. A few companies have had a crack at making something better and I've used them...and hated them. Honestly they're the sort of thing you see in the next Ironman or Star Trek… Read more

movie and that's where they belong, not in your home or office.

The Magic Mouse is a whole different kettle of fish. It has a slightly lower profile than the mouse you're probably using at the moment but apart from that it doesn't look all that different. Where it earns its 5 Stars is in functionality. They've taken the things Mac users have come to know and rely on across a range of Apple devices and packed them into the Magic Mouse without getting too tricky.

I love that I can now scroll left to right with the same ease that I can scroll up and down. I can go to the dashboard with a tap, zoom and reduce with a tap. All things that are kind of useful. There are other things which I'm sure I will discover over the nest few weeks but I guess the best thing is (as with all Apple Products) it's intuitive and just about anyone will be able to make it work without instruction. Intuitive, feature packed, well made, reliable price. It's expensive but in my opinion worth the money

Looks great but flaky – Got one for my GF to use it with her Mac Book Pro because it looks great. Noticed that she is back to her wired $10 mouse because of bad precision of the mouse. Tried it for a day myself and realized it has some funny behavior when move it very slowly. After all this makes it useless for long term daily usage How it looks Not functioning correctly

Need for improvement – Battery life is poor using non-apple rechargeable batteries - compared to other pc mice I've experienced. Disconnect/reconnect issues with Mac Pro are really frustrating. Apparently using Apple's rechargeable batteries may assist with this - yet to try. Apple really should advise of this before you purchase products with such faults - like that's going to happen these days. The design Battery life poor and continuous disconnection issues

Excellent – Overall, This is a good mouse with beautiful design like most of the apple products. But do you need to have it? No. If you are using the Macbook or MacbookPro, this mouse doesn't do more than the trackpad. The battery doesn't last long but the multi-touch works fine. This mouse doesn't work on windows PC so it's only for mac users. The functions… Read more

are still limited and need good light to take nice photos. Sleek design. Easy to pair with Mac. Multi-touch works well. Not as easy and fun to use as the mouse pad on Macbook Pro. Pricey.

Good – when i was using it for the first time i had to disconnect and reconnect the mouse because it was not working properly. the battery life in the magic mouse is not great, theres room for improvement, but you could choose to buy the wired mouse as it does not require batteries. great sleek design, looks absolutely amazing. you can do so many… Read more ·  1

wonderful things with one magic mouse. there are multi touch features as well as downloadable software add-ons. The battery life on the mouse is quite annoying, because you have to buy rechargeable batteries. disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth when it stops working.

Excellent – Great mouse. Bettery life could be better. I used the mouse everyday and it seems to last about 4-6 weeks. The multi-touch is great, once you get used it the motions it works fantastic! Certain multi-touch functions do not translate to virtual machines. This also affects games. For example, wheel/scroll button does not work in some games.… Read more

Gestures! Multi-touch! The asthetics, a thing of beauty! Battery Life is not the greatest.

Not much for general users. Wheel mouse support on virtual machines doesn't work
