Apple PowerBook G4 12 Inch

Good – This is the first laptop I purchased and is fantastic. I find Powerbooks with larger screens too wide and the extra space on either side of the keyboard makes them look crap. I pay for this with the small desktop space and use software for multiple desktops. Plenty of power but I did need to increase the memory to make it more useable. The battery lasted about a year and is about $199AUD from Apple. The cable on the charger broke where it connects to the laptop and a look at the Apple website reveals I am not alone here, $100AUD for a new charger with the same faults. I purchased a third party charger. If I had known these things before I purchased I would still have bought it and will buy another Apple as they still can't be beaten for looks and power. Small and portable ages well. Heavy for it's size. Poor battery life and charger design.
