Bought it used 5 years ago, still no issues. Cannot understand what people are whingeing about!! – Washes dishes well, reasonably quiet and efficient. What more can I say? I grew up in a household with dishwashers and had a life long experience with them, and cannot differ the result on the washing by this one from any AEG or Miele I have used previously. Dries the dishes well too. We have had NO issues at all.

Piece of rubbish – Absolute rubbish dishwasher, wish we still had our dishlex, keeps washing cold, soap dispenser won't open, all of a sudden yippeee !! It starts working.... The worst piece of equippment I have ever had in my kitchen. I would never purchase an Artiston product again, please don't waste your money on one of these products.

It's quirky but it works – We have had our ariston for 8.5 years now, it's a little hard to work out at first but overall its quiet and gives a good wash, we use it 2 times a day at least as we are a large family, the only one annoying thing is that the door sensor doesn't always sense its closed so sometime a firm closing is needed.. We are happy with the unit, our… Read more

old smeg was a piece of rubbish compared to this. Looks wash delay function Door sensor a bit temperamental

Think twice before buying!!! – Well I guess we are one of the lucky ones….it has taken 5 years for our dishwasher to start flashing lights and refusing to work for us which is now about 70% of the time. Dishes have never come out 100% clean or even dry and the soap dispenser occasionally won’t open at all. The really annoying part is that Ariston have no idea what the flashing… Read more

lights mean and try to fob you straight off to one of their repairers who then have to rely on Ariston interpreting the flashing lights??? We fought with Ariston for 2 years over a washing machine of theirs and I have to say that the biggest problem with Ariston is their customer service when something does go wrong…they don’t know how to fix it and they aren’t interested in fixing it. For the price you pay please think twice about buying an Ariston product!!! Configuration of the draws. Ariston do not stand by their product when something goes wrong.

Worthless – I will never ever buy another Ariston Product for the rest of my life. Its easier to was the dishes buy hand. I am now wondering if Ariston have heard of product testing before they sell them. And thanks Harvey Norman your salesmen and women have given themselves a reputation of being untrustworthy. It takes up space in my kitchen

What a pile of junk! – This must be the worst product I have ever purchased. According to the technician that came out to try to fix it, you need to wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher! Not a lot of point in having one then if you ask me! The unit continually stops mid cycle and sits there flashing 2 lights at us. You need to turn it off, leave it off… Read more

and start again. I never know if the cycle has finished or not and it is pot luck as to whether the dishes are washed.

I was upsold to this "Euro" brand by the sales guy at Harvey Norman. I am not usually so gullible but was desperate to get a replacement for an old machine that had had the gong. He espowsed all sorts of benefits of the Ariston brand but it has been nothing but an expensive headache from the beginning. My husband and I are SO frustrated with it we bought a new dishwasher this morning.

My sister and step-mum swear by their Askos. I am trying a Bosch this time. Fingers crossed! Absolutely NO endearing feature whatsoever. It doesn't wash dishes !!!!

Terrible – I wouldn't purchase a Ariston again especially after reading the reviews. You get a general understanding on how the product shapes up to be. A salesman at Harvey Norman convinced me to purchase this dishwasher. I was sold on the fact that it was an Italian made dishwasher and it was fantastic for all those very baked on dirty dishes from lasagne… Read more

etc. It wasn't a cheap dishwasher and therefore was in the top end market. My purchase started showing problems approx 8 weeks after having it. The cycle was only running for about 20 mins in total. Man came to fix it but needed to take it away. I recieved a brand new dishwasher as it wasn't fixable. The new one is giving me the same troubles but the warranty has expired. I'm now on the hunt for a reliable dishwasher.

Terrible – This is the biggest piece of crap dishwasher, don't buy it. Waste of money still need to wash half the dishes and wipe up the clean ones. Does not wash properly or dry

Overpriced junk! – We were talked into this pile of junk at Harvey Norman when we wre replacing our old Dishlex. Possibly the biggest mistake we have ever purchased. This machine has never washed properly and we have spent most of our time rewashing the dishes as we unpacked them. The repair man has now taken it away for the 4th time, but it has been deemed… Read more

unrepairable. We fortunately purchased an extended warranty and this will help to pay for the replacement a Bosch. Would recommend staying well clear of this brand.

Very expensive cost $1,699 and never worked properly.Constantly displayed error messages that were not included in the manual and had to contact ariston to find out what they were.Repairs took weeks for the parts to arrive.

OK – We have had this machine for about 4 yrs. It has been moved from house to house to house to house, NSW to Nth Qld and back and managed to survive. It is pretty quiet, and washes dishes pretty well. However since buying it, we bought an Ariston washing machine that was a DISASTER. So I dont hold alot of confidence for our dishwasher. However if it… Read more

does go belly up, at least we got 4+ yrs from it. Reasnobly priced. Relatively quiet Im not sure about how reliable it will be

Terrible – Apparently it was a very expensive unit - parents bought it as a present - supposed to be top of the range and built in Italy with a high amount of effort and quality put into it. I found out that the interior is made in china and Harvey Norman just import them from cheaply overseas and sell them at a huge profit - seems about right. But all the… Read more

baskets have collapsed and it's making funny smells as well. Not getting one of these again. Not a lot, washes ok when it works. Very unreliable, parts are expensive, everything is falling apart and it is only 2 years old.

Terrible – Weird pictures, characters and timings on the dishwasher leave you guessing what does what. So when you do guess and manage to get it going, it doesn't wash too well at all, probably because you have the wrong setting. Kinda works, I reckon it would work well if we could figure out how to use it. Hard to use. You need the manual, which we don't have, but you shouldn't have to read a manual to figure out how to use a sticking dishwasher.
