1 Mike R.  · The new Arnotts Vita Weat biscuits are not a patch on their previous receipe. Tastless, thinner and crack easily. Recommend change your cracker brand.
2 Luvac  · Hadn't bought a pack of vw for a while. Thinner and smaller. Consumers are sick of getting done over. Last pack I will buy.
2 Kevin R.  · The biscuits are shorter than a cheese slice wth pull your heads in Arnott very very dissatisfied won’t buy again
5 Gail  · Deeelicious !!10/24 – Love love but wish there was a Gluten Free option. G/F Jatz are excellent
1 Tamara I.  · Not as good as they were – Definitely thinner and break whilst trying to put Vegemite and margarine on them..
1 Mark  · Never again!! – Ive been a fan of the original style for 50 years, now it has become tasteless, stale texture ,straight in the bin,Arnotts have lost me.

Purchased a pack of the 9 Grain (which I like better than a packet of chips) a couple of days ago only to find that they are noticeably shorter by up two millimetres. Funny how the price hasn't gone down to reflect the shrinkage. Not impressed.

The sesame packs have changed taste and texture. They now represent the cheaper knock off card board version you can get from a cheaper supermarket chain. Awful product not to mention the 15% empty box and 25% price hike. Best left on the shelf !!!!

Another deceptive packaging outcome, same price, same box size, same plastic bag, then approx 25% reduction in product, seems companies want to obtain and keep customers, then reduce their product amount with deceptive packaging. Very hard to be loyal when you keep getting deceived

A couple of issues now with the Vita Weats. See attached pic of how the packaging is way oversized to make you think you are getting a bigger product. There is at least 1 inch (25mm) gap when you open the box and a large gap between the sides as well. My second issue is the Vita Weats are so pale and sickly looking compared to how they used be supplied."TURN THE OVEN UP". Lets get some colour and crunch back into the Vita Weats. Show details

Arnotts Vita Wheats Review with photos – Hard, like bunnings chipboard, sadly my experience was unpleasant, i thought they have horrible texture, too hard to chew, tastless bland and painful to eat, I just wasted beautiful fresh toppings on these awful little dry biscuits, never again! I would never buy this product, it was given to me for the same reason. The person that bought them… Read more

thought the same, I gave them a chance a tried them , but I won't play a hand in anybody else feeling guilty for wasting them, I have put them in the bin. So sorry I wanted the experience to be positive, it just isn't .

Bring back the original recipe of VITA-WEAT – I just opened a new box of what used to be our favourite (vita-weat) but after the first bite, I had to spit it out. It was disgusting, bland and tasted stale. Yuk, Why would you change the original recipe when nothing was wrong with it. SHAME on you Arnotts. Have you lost your senses? You have lost us as a customer and so many others, no doubt. (Unhappy Customer) Show details

arnotts - no longer the provider of " Delicious Moments" – During the late Regency & Victorian periods, unscrupulous vendors replaced flour with plaster, sawdust and even caustic soda. It would seem in 2024, that [a]rnotts is reaching for an equally unscrupulous MOD. Across their range, [a]rnott's biscuits have degraded themselves to what can only be described as purveyors of the most disgusting-tasting… Read more

pre-packaged clag anyone has ever spent money on. Papier-mâché glue has more flavour, appeal and nutrition. Perhaps recognizing the death knell of [a]rnotts as a business; they have sacrificed their reputation for profits. [a]rnotts seem to value the pointless remuneration of a useless CEO, rather than the quality of their brand. Such a short-sighted strategy by an epically failing company can only indicate its imminent demise. Thankfully, I'm old enough to remember when supermarkets didn't have a biscuit aisle - only a couple of shelves. And...luckily, I know how to make my own biscuits. Yes, Vita-Wheats too [a]rnotts is failing because they didn't think customers would notice. [a]rnotts is failing because they believe their customers have no choice. [a]rnotts is failing because they put profits over customer value.

But most of all..... [a]rnotts is failing because they monopolized the market, trashed their product and doubled the price.

you'd think they were run by a trump....

each year [a]rnotts takes a biscuit and trashes it....each year [a]rnotts takes another step out of the market. Each year [a]rnotts disappears into obscurity like some Georgian soap company or the makers of paraffin wax

AI states that a typical via-wheat crispbread measures 90x40x8-10mm. This is incorrect. The actual dimensions are 80x45x2-3mm! I’ve re-discovered them after many years. I’m sure they are a lot smaller now than I remember from my childhood. They are very tasty though and I’ll continue to eat them rather than eating bread. Show details

This is perfect- love my VW! – The sesame ones are full of flavour. With Colby cheese, it's the best snack. Vitawheats FOREVER! Edit: have changed to Vegemite with butter- still sesame though as its my fave. I usually wait till they're on special, then I empty the shelves! Love them Show details

Vita-Weats have become thinner, which makes them more difficult to remove from the packet or spread with butter without breaking. The thinner shape has also resulted in a curved or bowed biscuit due to the baking process. One option for addressing these changes could have been to increase the price rather than alter the product's quality. As a result, some customers will consider trying alternative biscuits.

So disappointed with Arnotts – It’s incredibly disappointing to see a wonderful Australian brand being trashed as Arnotts seem to be doing. Since when did biscuits become a topic of conversation for grown men at the pub, or around the BBQ, but they are in my world, because people are so upset at how small our wonderful arnotts biscuits are now, and the deceiving packing used to… Read more

hide the fact.

I will no longer purchase any Arnotts biscuits. If I buy them any more I will end up divorced as my wife is so tired of me complaining about how small they are. And it keeps getting worse!!! How on earth do Arnotts think we don’t notice?? Being a 60 year old I’d always had 2 arnotts biscuits with a cup of tea, now I needed 4. If Arnold continue on the same trajectory we will all be buying a packet of crumbs in 10 years and laughing about Arnotts telling us they’ve always been like that. Please sell the company back to somebody who cares about their reputation and the legacy of a respected Australian brand.

vita wheats gone bad – Arnotts changing a good recipe again!. Tried it with shapes and backfired. Please give us back the proper large and original vita wheats recipe. Shame on you for diverting. The aldi recipe tastes similar now. Who are these marketing genius at Arnotts, stop meddling with a good thing

shrinkflation in the biscuit aisle – absolutely disgusted with the behavior of Arnotts. We have bought your biscuits for 40 plus years. Trying to support Australian suppliers and Australian jobs. Obviously, that doesn't matter to Arnotts. Lets shrink the packets, and make bigger profits, not interested in the loyalty of Australian customers. If I have to buy imported biscuits and… Read more

crackers in future, to get value for money, I will. This is a painful choice for me, but I am tired of being taken advantage of, by a wealthy companies, who should value their customers loyalty.

Consumers will leave Vita-weat – Having just read so many negative reviews, rather add another about the obvious product downgrade, I’d just say, Arnotts take note! The public who have been loyal consumers of Vita weats such as myself, are abandoning this product. Such a shame, but in this day and age where the market is open to those who can fill the gap your’re creating, more… Read more

More space less cracker – Yes I am shocked about how hard they are but really what’s with all the cardboard wastage. Could easily shave off cm’s of cardboard and save costs and pass that onto customers. Inside there is so much free space you could park a tin of tuna in there . Oh hang on the biscuits did fill the box up in days gone by.. Slow customer deception to keep you on the hook. Tsk tsk Show details

Tastless and brittle – Used to be good. Now it's tasteless, thin and brittle. One packet I bought was full of broken pieces. You put just slight pressure on it (a topping for example) and it breaks. All the flavours taste the same, or rather, taste of nothing. They put the price up and lessen the quality. Show details

Waste of money, no flavour, thin and break into pieces – I have been a vita-weet biscuit lover for years and purchased these regularly. My goodness, how can Arnotts destroy such a good biscuit to what it has become. They are so thin, they break before you can even put a spread on them. You take them out of the pack and gently place onto a plate or even picking them up, they just break into pieces and… Read more

No more – Well that was my last packet of Vita Weats, another loyal customer has gone. Has the CEO of Arnotts tasted this crap, they really think we are going to continue to buy a biscuit that tastes stale and so sharp that I cut my inner lip trying to eat this horrible biscuit, you should be sacked. Show details

Bitter disappointment :( – Biscuits are definitely smaller, and thinner, and there are no holes. What have you done Arnotts? These were my absolute favourites and by messing with these you have ruined my life. I may as well just eat cardboard. At least I could cut it to the right size to fit half a cheese slice. Show details

Food manufacturers with no conscience – Arnott's, STOP changing recipes at the detriment of taste and quality. You are not treating your loyal customers with respect, let alone your regard for their health and wellbeing. First I noticed the Scotch Fingers, then the Yoyos, now my favorite Vita Wheat. Customers are not stupid!!! Show details

Disappointed – I bought some vita weat biscuits the other day,I can’t believe how much they have shrunk. 4 used to be enough to have as a snack with a topping. Now you need at least 6.
