Asko D3630

7 year life span – Its been a great dishwasher but after 7 years its playing up. Overflow is the message with the pump going constantly. The 7 year mark seems to be common which is a shame, we hoped to get a few more years out of it. Maybe factor that in when buying an asko. Show details
Asko - Built To Last? – After seven and a half years of service to a family of four, our Asko D3630 has stopped working. Additionally, in the last year the anchor tabs that secure the dishwasher under the bench have snapped and the dishwasher can tip forward when loading dishes. Consequently, I am considering replacing the dishwasher, rather than repairing it, as I… Read more
would have no control over the cost of maintenance, nor the ongoing reliability of the existing (out of warranty) components. This is disappointing, as I would have expected at least 10 years service from this machine (the Asko advertising slogan is 'built to last').
Very dissaponited with asko d3630 – Sad!!!....Sad that a dishwasher that i bought back in 2007 only lasted me 7 years when by all forums should last 10 to 15 years. At the time i bought the asko dishwasher, dryer and washing machine.....Spent about $9000. Now, just last month the dishwasher has stopped working and the service tech tells me it will cost upwards of$600 to fix.....A… Read more
machine that cost me over $2000 7 years with the so called reputation of being the best lasted for 7 years. And to make things worse the tech informed me that all 3 models i bought have had nothing but issues....I no our 3 have had to be repaired over that time. Anyway for whats its worth i would like a new dishwasher from asko to compensate for the lemon i bought.
Excellent – It is a very sleek, modern and easy to go with anything design, quiet and efficient dishwasher that we all enjoy. We are family with 4 adults with lots of dishes to wash. I like everything about this dishwasher. We had asko a years ago and changed to miele, sold house and we purchased asko again as i did not like the cutlery tray in miele, now… Read more
very proud owner of asko again. You have to oppen the door to see time remaining, but it is not a big deal.
Excellent – Excellent machine, cant fault it. Mother in law has an Asko also and loves it. Our old dishwasher was quite an old Asko and still washed almost as good as this one, until all our household appliances all got fried by a power surge! Very Quiet, thought it wasnt even working! HUGE basket height, only washer that we could find to fit our big square… Read more
plates. Half Load option very handy. Has time left till finished displayed on the screen, even as you scroll through different wash cycles. Middle washing arm is permanently mouted on a stainless pipe, most other washers have arm mounted on the bottom of the top basket and have a coupling at the back of the washer that I feel would fail sooner or later.
Excellent – Excellent, when I need/want to wash some dishers, no problems because the 'Swedish girl' just gets to it quietly. Not like the 'Simpson Niagra Falls' I previously owned where I had to put the TV on full volume to hear over the racket being made in the kitchen. The Simpson washed OK - just couldn't hear yourself think ! Quiet as a mouse -… Read more
especally good because I live in a townhouse and have a small living area ...... very economical - water and power ...... very programmable, I can make it do what I want, when I want, including 24 hr timer start and includes a rinse and hold program 3mins Nothing ...... well, perhaps the price is a bit steep but you pay for what you get.
