Unexpected – Purchased this machine about 7.5yrs ago. A water leak from around the inlet hose shorted the motor and motor control unit, and fuse. Now out of warranty repairs will cost around $900 that includes a new hose which apparently is an issue with this machine. Why install an item which has the potential to leak directly into the motor. Can't say I… Read more

asked to look behind the machine pre purchase for the layout of water pipes. $900 on repairs vs $900 for a new machine with a new warrantee?

A potential and expensive water risk not addressed in its modelling. A very expensive repair on an already expensive machine.

F3 and I'm out – I bought this a couple of years ago based on reputation. My wife says she won't get one again. Expensive to get someone out to fix when heavy wash stopped working. Frustrating design in terms of getting loose items out from the catcher drawer. Recently started marking the clothes, so i put in a drum and since then it has stopped spinning -… Read more

frustrating F3 errors. Not an old machine at all! Good size, efficient front loader Expensive product to have repeated faults early - and fixing is not cheap.

Great until repair – Excellent machine - consistently worked for 4 years and then the bowl has become unbalanced and rubber protectors are coming away. Trying to get repair however virtually impossible outside of the major cities. Have to get local repair guys to have a look - they will then tell me what i need - i will then call Asko and order the part - Asko… Read more

will send to me - local repair will install. If the part is wrong etc repeat process with no exchange on original part.

Local repair guys reported to have extremely difficult relationship with Asko as they won't sell/support anyone they have not trained. They will however let me assume the risk by ordering my own parts. In terms of quality assurance - this appears reasonable - until you look at how big Australia is and if your are outside metro - good luck on repair.

Really disappointed as it has been a good enough great machine - but going back to Miele. quite spin repair challenges outside metro areas

The best washing machine we have ever owned – This Asko machine thoroughly deserves the accolades. A 6kg front load washer, it has a stainless steel drum and features 4 star water efficiency and 4 and a half stars for energy efficiency. It also includes a sensor system, easy to use electronic controls, fabric softener dispenser, delay start facility and auto spin balancing. It runs quietly… Read more ·  2

and washes superbly. This machine is highly recommended. Quiet, efficient and very good at its job! Expensive but you do get what you pay for in this instance.

Excellent – Yes a Asko is one of the more expensive brand when it comes to front loaders but this is a product you use at least once a week and put quality brand name clothes into. Its worth every dollar! Great water saver, lowest energy award 2006 and washes clothes super clean each and every time. 1500rpm is prefect if you live in a apartment without a washing line, clothes come out almost dry. nothing....

Excellent – I love my Asko so much. I have always dreamt of owning one and heard so much about them. Now that I've made the decision to invest, it is worth every cent. It does live up to my high expectations. A normal load only takes 59 mins and my clothes come out clean. Love the pre-soak and timer delay function. Also great is it tells you how many minutes left until completion. Nothing - it's perfect although the price might scare you off.
