Great sound & convenient usability – This headphone set came at nearly half the price of Sony equivalent but better still is able to still work without the batteries as a standard headphone. (Sony version completely shuts down not only the noise cancel option but also the standard transfer of sound from the device your plugged into) When you have batteries in and switched on, this unit does a great job at noise cancellation.

Comfortable to wear during a 12 hour work shift and came with a sturdy travel box and a bunch of plug and wire adapters. I'm very impressed.

Good Headphones for the price, excellent value for money – I have tried the BOSE QC25's on, so I have been spoilt for Noise cancelling quality, these are not as good as the BOSE as you would expect, but represent very good value for money,( I paid $135) The actual sound quality through the headphones though when the noise cancellation is on is excellent, really well balanced, I love these headphones, they do tend to bleed quite a lot of sound out of them though which is disappointing , overall excellent value for money.

A great pair – Love these headphones!! I was going to buy Dr Dre Audiobeats but because the company was so slow and innefectual at delivery, I cancelled and whirlpool forumites suggested these headphones. I found them for $179 with free postage and got a pair and don't regret it at all. Blown away by the quality of the sound and how it muffles out the surrounding noise. Love em... my son loved them too, so I got him a pair for his birthday .. sound quality, comfort just my stupidity in not switching the noise cancelling off and battery going flat,

Foam cover breaks but overall good value for money – This is a quick update of my original review. Since I now have been using these headphones for about 5 years I can talk about service and longevity. The sound is good and isolation is great for the money but the foam pads broke twice and even though the service was great the repair costs could have bought me a new pair. I am now in the market for a new NC headphones and will probably look elsewhere. Sound is good quality (not audiophile quality but up there)NC is good (don't have much experience with other NC headphones)Good quality buildHead caps fit normal to large sized earsFlight plug included1 AAA batteryValue for money Not the best when the NC is off but still usableNot the most comfortable head-band

Excellent – I bought these online from ozheadphones and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. These are NOT audiophile headphones - they are good headphones with good noise reduction capability. I'm told there are better such as the Bose QC series, but at a much higher price. With my limited experience with NR headphones: Overall: 8/10 - Highly Recommended Value for money: 9/10

Followup in one month. I've owned these headphones for 12 hours - noise reduction performance in office, train and home is impressive. Music reproduction is very good when active, adequate when turned off -although at a higher input power. Packaging is good with a zipped internal pocket for the accessories and a plastic form to keep the headphones straight.

My reference is a set of Stax headphones. The internal plastic form in the case is very thin and I expect it to disintegrate within 12 months.
