Avancer Cold Press Slow Juicer

Its great – Not a lot to say except its the best juicer that i have brought and used.I got more juice out of the fruit that i juiced which was the best thing.Having the cold press slow juicer it just worked so well and easy to use and to clean. Does a great job and easy to clean – To be honest, I thought it would be hard to clean but its easy. All I do is pull the unit apart after I've finished, open up the little silicon tab at the base and clean all contents out. Takes me less than a minute all up. No blockages.The unit is easy to use. little machine. Oh, it looks great on the kitchen bench too. inexpensive reliable, easy to use, easy to clean, does what it's supposed to do.

Hit and miss... and miss again – At first I thought it was great, my first juice was brilliant! few days later after using it each day, I noticed it getting blocked more often than not. tasty sugary one (and would be cheaper!).... Still when it gets blocked you either power through it or you start again and hope you can salvage your expensive ingredients, either way it takes a long time!

Cleaning it is also a pain when it gets blocked as its difficult to get the pulp out. When it works its great, but when it doesn't its a pain in the [censored word removed]. You get what you pay for I guess, I've never tried other so its perhaps good/OK for its price but I wouldn't have bought it if I could have spared with a little more cash, certainly wouldn't again. So after this mornings palava, it gets a bad. Gives an impressive squeeze when it works the pulp extractor gets blocked up often. And its noisy.

Good Value Juicer and Quality Juice – I really wanted the much more expensive Hurom Slow Juicer like my boyfriend has, but just couldn't afford it, so I settled for an Avancer Slow Juicer. down when I feed in too much or don't cut up carrots or beetroot small enough, but the juicing parts seem really strong, just like the Hurom's. The pulp is even drier than the pulp that comes out of his Hurom Juicer, so that impressed us both. I know I'm getting a much better quality of nutrition from the juice the Avancer makes compared to the juice made in my old centrifugal juicer. It made juice that was comparitively thin and insipid. Overall I think the Avancer Slow Juicer is really good value for the money at less than half the price of a Hurom Juicer. Inexpensive for what it is, gives me super nutritious juice, small - doesn't take up much space on the counter. Takes a little time to learn how best to use it.

Great machine – Bought this machine as my previous cold press juicer is on it's way out. Did a side by side comparison and found the Avancer extracts a greater yield of juice. Very happy with the results so far. Looking forward to making some wonderful juice combinations. Unit looks quite nice on the counter top as well. Yield extract. Fairly quite for a juicer, nice looking.

really much more productive than we could expect. The pulp that comes out is almost dry. We now get used to having a glass of freshly made juice ourselves. I also happy with its simple design, you can quickly make a juice and clean the machine in the morning without being late for work. Plus, it is very compact that was appreciated at our small kitchen. Efficient, compact, easy to clean and operate, squeezes not chops fruits and vegies. Not expensive for its type.

Boost your life with healthy juice! – Bought the slow juicer to encourage kids to increase their fibre, vitamins and minerals. Kids loved it and have been experimenting with different fruits. Very affordable, easy to operate. Sturdy. Juice still has some fibre bits in it but it is good for health, sieve it if you want smooth juice.

You'll feel let down – I purchased this machine thinking I was making a move forward from my old slow juicer. Wrong. The makers of this machine got one thing right . It is slow, in fact it is so slow when loaded it stops. The silicone plug at the base of the extractor is useless. when you next use the machine. The screw that holds the silicone plug is a health hazard because particles of the food you are juicing get caught in around it and I believe if you keep undoing it and taking it out to clean you will strip the thread. After watching the dvd that came with it I thought you could chop your vegies into reasonable size pieces and it would process them without a problem. Wrong again. I do carrots and beetroot juice every morning and if I don't slice them very thinly you might as well forget it and just eat them whole. I have had over 30 years of cooking experience and have to say this machine is a dud. I have started using my old juicer that I have had for over 6 years again and must say I didn't realise how well it worked until I compared it with this machine. The appearance. flavour. This juicer makes a lot more juice from less veg/fruit than my centrifugal juicer.

The engine is quiet which is a nice change from noisy fast juicers and it's easy to take apart, clean and put back together again. I am impressed with the quality of all the inside parts and the sturdiness of the machine. It is not too large to sit on my kitchen bench and is easy to move around because of the integrated handle at the back of the machine.

Just one point- I was surprised there was no glass/jug included with the machine to receive the juice maybe with a strainer on top? But a large glass works fine too.

I am happy with the product so far and also with the company who sent the juicer very quickly and free freight. The price was also a big motivator to buy the Avancer Black Label Slow Juicer.

So far I am very happy. Sturdy, quiet, good juice output, easy to clean, easy assemble, reasonable price.
