Pros: Online registry that allows international purchasers

Cons: Registry is very poorly set up

Overall: I created a baby registry on Baby Zone Direct so that friends and family from overseas could purchase items we would need and use.

Setting up a registry is quite easy, but using the registry is not! I sent a link to my registry to my friends and family so that in theory they could choose an item that they liked a purchase it. Then the registry should have simplified purchasing the item by providing my address automatically and update the registry to indicate that the item had already been purchased. More than half the time my friends and family started from the registry, but ended up purchasing the item from my registry but not through my registry, so they had to provide my address and the registry was not updated. I believe my loved ones were transfered away from the registry when they clicked on the item for a description. Needless to say, I received duplicates of some items.

Also Baby Zone Direct does not provide any details of who purchased the item for you. The purchaser must buy a card for you and write a message, otherwise it's anyone's guess who sent the gift. We received about 7 items without names and are still trying to figure out who sent some of them!

As with many of the other reviews, my loved ones also told me they did not get confirmation emails of purchases, but their accounts were debited.

Overall: I've ordered from these guys three times now and I can say they have improved since the first time I ordered, about a year ago.

The first time I ordered from them I got a bit worried after I read some of these reviews, so I tried to call them and the number was disconnected! I sent them an email and they took 2 days to reply. I did not receive a shipping notification, and the order status on the website was never updated from "processing"

My most recent order of two carseats seems to be going a lot smoother. I had to contact them for a quote for the insurance company (my car was involved in an accident) and they responded that same day. I followed up with a request for some more information and there were no problems.

The order status is still not updating from "processing" even though I have received my emailed shipping notification yesterday, so fingers crossed they are arriving sometime this week.

Overall: The product I brought was on sale, an email was within 24 hours letting me know the colour I wanted was out of stock, a phone call to the sales staff and they gave me another colour choice and the product was sent on the Thursday and arrived Monday. Will definatley shop again.

Pros: low prices, low shipping costs, great customer service, fast response to emails, friendly and helpful. I ordered 2 car seats and a pram with toddler seat, the car seats were out of stock however I was emailed and offered a refund, different color or if I wanted to wait for it. I emailed back to wait for it, the second they were in stock they were dispatched and they even sent my pram sooner rather than waiting for the whole order! Amazing site, amazing staff! highly recommended

Cons: the only problem I have is that they don't display stock levels but they are quick to resolve this.

Overall: I was hesitant after reading such negative reviews but I am having a wonderful experience with BZD. I will be going back for sure! their prices are amazing with great shipping costs too! The only downfall so far has been one of my items out of stock but they have been quick to fix that and answered all my questions promptly!

Overall: I had read previous reviews by a few disgruntled customers and was a little hesitant to order online. I am very happy to report that it was hassle free, I did ring first to see the products (Phil & Ted's Dash Stroller and accessories) I was ordering were actually in stock. I ordered online on a Monday and they were delivered to me in Tasmania on the following Tuesday. The savings I made (even with $31 delivery charge) was over $290! Highly recommended and I will shop with them again.

Overall: I don't know what were the negative feedback maybe, got a bit skeptical before buying online through this website, eventually followed my gut feeling and just bought a stroller through them. Sent an email to them and was answered on the day itself, gave me all the information I needed to track the delivery down and seriously I've handled a lot of logistics in my area of work, this is one of the cheapest and the fastest I've had (mind you that I'm from WA)

The goods was in perfect condition, just couldn't ask for more! Thanks guys and would recommend this site for all.
