my favourite pram – Bought this pram from gumtree in 2014 (it was still brand new) after using the babylove snap n go capsule. Baby only liked being in capsule or being carried so I didn't by a pram till she was 6 months old. I should of done so earlier because the pram is awesome. This pram is so light and easy to maneuver on any surface. Without the seat attachment… Read more

it folds so compact and fits perfectly it the boot of my hatchback. I can literally snap the capsule on & off facing forward or towards you. My travel system works so well for me I haven't bought another pram until I upgraded to a double.

I love the pram when using capsule, not really a fan of the seat that comes with the pram itself. It's a bit bulky, not much padding for the bubs, so I can't see it being very comfy. Actually I only ever used it with the snap n go capsule.

Awesome pram – Love how easy this is too push very light weight.. my only down fall is that my toy bar clip broke so now i need to find a new one.

average pram – happy with the basket and the extra storage behind the seat. however the buckle of the harness broke when my son was only 15 mos. i expected it to last a bit longer than that. i wheels is a bit of an issue but nevertheless its a great pram because of the wheels are bigger easier to push on uphill and on long walks. since we have a sedan we have to remove the seat before we can fold up the pram to fit in the boot.

Short term pram only. Wouldn't recommend for long term use – Initially I loved the pram. It is light weight, easy to fold up and I loved that the capsule clicked in and out so easily. But after a while it began to have problems. Folding it up was a nightmare. It was sticking all the time and it took quite a lot of force to fold up. It eventually broke and had to be returned to baby bunting to be fixed. Even… Read more

after it was "fixed" it was still problematic. We wanted to use it for baby number 2 as well but I eventually broke it folding it up. It is now broken beyond repair. As the capsule fits into a Valco, I will now be purchasing a Valco pram instead of a babylove. If you just want a pram that you're going to use for 6 months max, then this is the pram for you. However, if you would like a pram that lasts, I wouldn't recommend the focus elite. It's more trouble than it's worth. It's the age old saying, you get what you pay for. Light, initially easy to fold up. Snap n Go options. After a while, it sticks when folding up and requires a lot of force. It's also rather flimsy.

biggest mistake ever – I fell in love with this pram when we tried it in the store but now three months later one of the front wheels only makes contact with the ground when it feels like it, customer service to try and get problem solved has been horrible so I will never buy this brand again and have wasted over $300 :( good for tall people wheel spins and doesn't make contact with the ground and also very hard to open

Great Stroller esp for the price – I do love this pram, easy to set up (once you know how), i like to long handle and the basket is nice and big. the seat recline is perfect for us and easy to turn rear or foward facing. i like that the seat can stay attached when packed away. also its not to heavy for me to lift in and out of the car. inexpensive, great stearing, easy to use i wish i brought the capsule. Show reply

After using for 19 months I have some more info – I wrote the first review here for this pram and thought I would add a few things since we have been using it now for 19 months. We have used the pram pretty much everyday since my son was born. I still think the bassinet option was fantastic as we often used to take it off and let him keep sleeping in it while at home or visiting up till he was 5… Read more

months old. It is also light to lift and narrow so great for inner city living. But, a few issues that we have now makes me take a few stars off.

1). As other people have noted the pram frame gets stuck on opening. This started to happen to us about 1 year in (so out of warranty). We use WD40 to grease it regularly but it then smells bad and leaves oil on your hands when lifting into the car. The getting stuck thing has also left marks along the side of the frame, scraping into the metal.

2). Both the harness buckles have broken off teeth. There is only 1 connector part clicking onto the main bit on each side (sorry, don't know how to better describe it). If that one breaks off the harness will be unusable.

3). Not the prams fault, but something to think about - it has no way of expanding for 2 kids. We are expecting no 2 in October and will have to get a new pram. I wish I had thought to get an adaptable pram in the first place, but I was sure I would never have another baby (ha!).

4). One of the front wheels doesn't touch the ground properly anymore.

5). I wouldn't trust the brakes on a hill.

6). The suspension isn't great compared to other prams.

7). My son's head is starting to touch the hard part of the sun shade - he is only average height so he would outgrow the pram in the next 6 months anyway.

8). Not a deep enough seat - my son seems to slump a bit when sitting as his bottom slides forward.

So I still think it was a good pram in the early days, but I probably wouldn't recommend it anymore due to these points. I wish I could give it 2.5 stars. It isn't really bad as such, it did serve us well for quite a while, but I wouldn't buy it again. Lightweight, bassinet option, narrow width Frame gets stuck, teeth have broken off the harness lock, not great suspension, seat not deep enough, back seat not long enough

Best pram I have found – We purchased this as hubby wanted a travel system that wasn't to expensive. The travel system with this is so easy to use (we loved it and didn't want bub to grow out of it!). It is easy steering, goes pretty good on terrain (grass, rocks) and is easy to set up and fold down. Also love the fact the seat is rear and forward facing is great as I can… Read more

turn bub around when he has had enough of the world. Easy to steer, rear and forward facing, travel system was easy to use, easy to fold up Did get stuck to the point I couldn't open it, however hubby put a bit of grease on and it's like brand new again.

Solid pram, reversible seat, good cargo storage, – Bought for $350 so i dont consider expensive. However on sale at Toys r us this week for $320 so better bargain. I like the fact its still a 4 wheeler, without the width. Its very similar to strider plus stroller (only the price though)with the way the seat detaches and turns around. (doesnt come with option of adding a toddler seat like the… Read more

strider, but does have a capsule thats compatible)

I was looking at the strider plus but for the price this is lighter ( by 3kgs) and thinner for doorways with pretty much same features.

It comes with a foor muff which makes it in to a bassinet type of seat as well as the ful rain cover. (you can buy a bassinnet for it too)

I like the way it folds. (can fold as one whole unit or take off the seat and fold the frame seperate so both parts are lighter to lift)

Foot brake is solid and sturdy.

Easy to fold and flip to alternate positions too. reasonable price for stroller, easy seat switch, comes with rain cover and foot muff

Zero regrets! I really adore this pram – I spent two hours in the shop trying out every single pram and finally settled on this one. I'm really glad I did--this pram really is everything I could have asked for! It's a good feeling, cruising around shopping centres, seeing other mums with their $1500 prams and thinking to myself 'nah, I like mine better'. Things I really like: -… Read more

Front or rear facing options. Being able to see my baby and have him see me was the most important thing for me.

- Really easy-to-use brake. Simplest brake out of all of the prams I tried.

- Fits neatly into the boot of my tiny Mazda sedan with room to spare for groceries.

- Very responsive steering, easy to do one-handed.

- 4 wheels for stability--I've never felt that it was going to topple. I do sling my nappy bag over the handles, and it's wobbled a couple of times while heading up a travelator because of that, but it's never made a serious attempt at capsizing.

- Not too wide--people can get past me on the footpath or travelator, and I don't have to go through the extra-wide checkout.

- Decent amount of storage underneath.

Things that I could see someone else disliking (that didn't bother me):

- Can't get a full recline. This wasn't an issue for me as my baby has a bit of reflux and needs to always be a bit inclined anyway, and the bassinette attachment is there if you really want to lay your newborn flat.

- Fold takes a while to get the hang of--but, of course, I was packing and unpacking it like greased lightning within no time.

- Head support isn't ideal (but that can be solved with a $8 head support from Kmart, or a prettier one from somewhere like MiniHappyMe).

- Fixed strap covers--seeing as my little one loves to gnaw on them, I cut them off and replaced them with removable/washable ones.

- Adjusting the incline requires two hands, and is a bit jerky, and can jar baby awake.

- Difficult to get fashion accessories for (compared to more popular models).

- It's not the ugliest pram out there by any means, but it's not about to win any beauty pageants either. It's functional, and it looks functional.

There is only one thing that I would seriously consider changing about this pram: as some other reviewers mentioned, the handle is a bit long. If you try to bend straight over it to replace a dummy or hold a little hand, you'll end up with a handle to the ribs. The upshot, of course, is that it's very easy to get a baby in and out, and I've never even come close to accidentally bumping a little limb on the handle.

Some other reviewers said that the wheels were lifting off the ground as they walked--my mother-in-law had this problem, but all we had to do was tilt the handle up a little to accommodate her extra height and everything was fine.

All in all: I really don't understand why I don't see more of these around. But hey--it's nice being unique! Reversible seat, easy brake, easy to steer, folds neatly, stable, comparatively narrow wheel base, good storage No full recline, fold needs dedication to master, less-than-perfect head support, jarring incline adjust, no 'designer' looks, shortage of accessories, handle quite long.

One purchase I won't regret! – Love this pram. We got it with the bassinet option. It was the only pram at the shop that ticked all the boxes for us. Easily fits in the boot of the Laser although it doesn't leave a lot of room for the shopping. Easier to manoeuvre, can steer it with one hand! I can't open it on my own though. Also, we needed the bassinet for our son, he was… Read more

just under 7 pounds and it was just too big for him. Well priced, has bassinet and capsule option, not heavy, manoeuvrable, easy to clean, large shopping baskett. Difficult to open, suspension isn't great, really need the bassinet for small babies, doesn't have adequate sun shade.

Brilliant pram! – We've had the pram over a year and used the capsule too. We love it! Overall, the pram has great flexibility of front facing and back facing seat, with a capsule attachment and great sized shopping basket. The adjustable handle is great for me and my husband as we are different heights. We appreciated all the different head supports and inserts,… Read more

but these weren't necessary when our child got older. Very easy to wipe down and clean. The only downside for us is that I walk four times a week and the tread on the wheels has almost gone now. Of course this is not an issue for using it at the shops. It would be great if the company allowed you to buy replacement wheels as the back wheels are east to remove! Inexpensive. Lightweight. Good size shopping basket. Easy to clean!!! Occasionally it's a bit sticky and needs an extra push when putting it up. I think this is the mechanism, but has probably happened 10 times in the whole time we've had the pram. No problems with folding it down.

Perfect for Tall Parents – One of the main reasons we looked at this stroller was the great long handle, as hubby and I are both over 6 foot tall. The reasonable price was a definite plus. I love that it is lightweight, handles really nicely and has an easily detachable reversible seat (and you can buy a bassinette too if desired). The quick release harness clip looked a… Read more ·  2

bit tricky, but we got the hang of it quite quickly. Due to the solid wheels, it isn't designed for alot of off-road trips. That being said, we haven't had any problems with our wheels and we've had it for 10 months so far. Comfy ride, inexpensive, adjustable handle, quick and easy to open and reverse. Baby doesn't sit as upright as I'd like.

Has been good when getting newborn out of car with the attachable capsule – Light. Capusle attaches to pram base. Can get a bassinet attachment. Easy to maneuver. Has been easy enough to fold/unfold. Baby can face you or outward. Handle is long but that is good if you have a tall partner like me. Foot muff keeps newborn cozy. Doesn't lay completely flat. Can't attach a toddler seat. Has round attachments you have to… Read more

change to put on pram base or capsule. I will probably get a different pram when ihave a second baby but has been good with my first. Attachable capsule. Light. Baby can face you or outwards. Good size basket. Fairly small compaired to other travel systems. Can't attach toddler seat. Not the most stylish pram. Has different attachments you have to change to put on either pram base or capsule that are easy to misplace.

Good – I couldn't find any reviews of this stroller when I bought it, but after trying them all at the shop and having a limited budget (ie. under $700) this was by far the best. All up with the bassinet attachment it was only $450 which was great! We have used the bassinet attached to the stroller for 2.5 months now and have been really happy with it.… Read more ·  2

Living in the inner city many strollers are too wide for the footpath or shops/supermarkets, but this one fits really easily. We also have used the bassinet all the time for our baby to sleep in, so saves buying a portacot in the early stages.

It is weird that more people don't use this stroller, particularly as it is so much cheaper than other brands. It feels solidly made, the brakes are easy to use and it comes with a storm cover. Packs up easily and fits into the back of our car. The frame is only 9kg. I would definitely recommend it! Narrow, easy to handle, pretty cheap compared to other brands. Packs up easily and doesn't weigh a ton when lifting into the car. Harder to get to the storage when the bassinet is attached (with the flip down bar on the underside, but makes the bassinet much steadier). Wish it came with a sunshade cover. Wish I had bought the car capsule part as well!

Great product! Esp with the capsule – Got my stroller for a bargain for only $260 (normal rrp $349++ due to a mistake in advertising that had to be honoured) so of course I will think they are great value :) Even for $350 they are good value..good to steer with one hand, love being able to turn the seat reverse facing v easily and goes great with the very popular babylove capsule… Read more

which I think is one of the lightest around. Little one is very attached so likes looking at me when we're out. Inexpensive, looks good, steers well Could have bigger sunhood, at 11.5 kgs, not a featherweight pram compared to whats out there nowadays, but still manageable with a weak back

Great value for money!! – I love this pram, it is such good value for money, I agree with some reviews that it is not the most sturdy pram out there, but definately not a cause for concern, i love the adjustabe handle as my hubby is very tall and i can push this pram easily without kicking my feet into it when walking which I found happened with most other prams under the… Read more

$500 mark. I have the bassinet attachment which was great in the first few months but i think i love the pram even more now with the normal seat as it is even lighter and even easier to push/steer. Inexpensive compared to other similar prams, easy to stear, fold etc sunshade not very big (but seat is reversable so i have not found this a problem as i just change the direction for shade)

Not a great pram, you get what you pay for – The capsule seems flimsy and you need another headrest for a new born to use it. The pram is also flimsy and the front wheels lift off the ground. It was cheap and you can use the capsule from the car in the pram. Its a crappy pram and capsule. The pram isnot sturdy and the wheels lift off the ground, the capsule seesm flimsy in the car and the… Read more

position is the same for baby if you put the capsule in the pram. The baby looks and is very uncomfortable in the capsule, so you dont even want to use it in the pram.
