Babylove Newborn

Leaks everytime! Do NOT buy! – If I could give this product a zero star I would. I have used many different brands of newborn nappies from Huggies to Aldi's Mamia and Woolworth's Little One's and never ever experienced a nappy that leaks EVERY single time! I use and love the Babylove Cosifit in bigger sizes and have had no problems with the sizes 4 and 5 but the newborn size is… Read more
terrible. It clearly is not made to fit a newborn adequately or retain a sufficient amout of urine. I will not recommend this product and will actually warn others against using this nappy.
Worst nappy ever use – This brand of nappy for newborn is the worst, never hold my newborn’s pee, he end up wee on himself everytime we check, changed his clothes many times a day, definitely won’t buy them again. Show details
Leaks almost every time! – Nappies leak constantly (wees and poos) from the back or the sides. I've changed nappies and had leaks after 5 minutes so it's not an issue if nappy being 'full'. I will definitely not be using them again! Show details

Excellent – I have used Baby Love with my son and my daughter- and I love it, I would buy it all the time if it werent for my budget- though they are deffinately value for money if you can afford them. My daughter has low muscle tone so has a lot of problems with nappies and leakage out of the legs because of this. We cant use huggies at all, used one box on… Read more
special and will never get them again for her because she would always have poo running down her legs and the dip for the belly button was too high up. Somebody bought us a packet of babylove newborn and it was BRILLIANT, it only leaked out of her legs once in a blue moon and the dip for the belly button was just right so her belly button which needed to heal up wasnt covered. I buy in bulk so would buy more often if they were cheaper The dip for the belly button was at the perfect height, it was nicely padded giving it great absorbtion and had good leakage protection Price- value for money but still a little too out of the budget for those with little money
Good – I think these are a great cheaper alternate to Huggies...I found the to be fairly similar in performance and absorbency, plus I just think the price of Huggies is ridiculously expensive for the average family (I now use Mamia for my son which meets both price and performance 100%) I did experience some leaking with these nappies, mostly up the… Read more
back, but found them to be a great fit around the legs and sides.
They had great absorbency for up to 12-14 hours at night (the only time I had problems with leaking was when she was due to go up to the next size, but I was trying to finish up a packet of the newborn size)and didn't irritate her skin at all.
I would certianly recommend them to anyone and they are the brand I buy before anything else if for any reason I'm unable to get the Mamia brand I now use. Great absorbency and good fit around thye legs. Not as expensive as Huggies, but not far off.
Not a great fit across the back for my daughter....we experienced a reasonable number of leaks up the back (in fairness babies can certainly let loose with some force at times)
Good – Contrary to other opinions, I found them to work well. I think alot of the leaks have much to do with nappy changing technique - let me explain, whenever my husband changed a nappy, the leakage incident was high - I didn't seem to have any problems. When you have a full night of wee or a big poo - nothing will stop leaks no matter how much you… Read more
spend on a disposable. They have improved the design and they do have a stretchy waist now. (Not as much as Huggies - which is too stretchy for my liking) Agree with others, only buy one pack cause babies grow very quickly initially. (This applies to any brand though). I have used these nappies on 2 babies now. Australian Company
A quality product that is much more economical than other leading brand.
They hold poo and wee! Don't bunch up like cheapy brands. Before improving their design, yes, they did deposit crystals on your baby - but the packaging did warn of this. The convenience packs are much more expensive than the bulk boxes (which can only be bought from Big W apparently - This is what we buy). Yes, they are disposable.

loved them – I switched from Huggies to babylove at 3weeks old. babylove has a wider butt and fitted my daughter alot better. had no issues no leaks and great value for money Show details
Great absorbency – Use these every night for my twins. My girls usually sleep through and have had no leakage issues so far. I have been using these for 3 months, very happy! Also, I love the large tabs. Show details
Good reliable nappie – I found these nappies for my newborn great in terms of how easy they are to put on with the large side tabs as I had post partum swelling in my hands and fingers . It has very good coverage around bubs legs which means no liquid can leak through for wet diapers especially .
Negative reviews
Worst nappies – Worst nappies not recommended can’t hold wee for even two hours makes baby wet from back not buying ever again waste of money and time don’t buy these ones f Show details
Terrible. Irritating to his skin – They were fine for a few days and I change him before the blue stripe is full sometimes the stripe doesn't work. He now has a horrible rash all around his genitals the poor darling. The plastic around the legs is irritating, they're not as soft as Huggies and he cried when I use them. Product dumped as it does not "baby love" in our experience. Show details
WORST NAPPPIES EVER! leaks 80% of the time – I bought these due to my normal ones that I purchase (Little rascals) was not available. It has been the worst out of all the nappies I have tried for my newborn. Cannot Hold urine for more than 3 hours, it leaks absolutely everywhere. It also leaks for Poos and it has been a nightmare using these nappies... Do not recommend! waste of money and extreme nuisance! Show details

Nappies leak – Nappies leak and do not absorb anything. Only thing that works on the nappy is the wet indicator Would not recommend or be purchasing again. Cheap quality definitely no love for baby when it comes to quality in nappy. Show details

Nappy leaks. Not recommended – 11 june 2020 Received one packet as gift from a friend. Very bad and cheap quality nappy. Not sure how it got approved to be sold in the market especially for the babies. Do not recommend anyone. Not safe to use for babies. It leaks- leaves very bad pee smell on baby and baby clothes and appears uncomfortable for babies. Leaves the private part… Read more
wet and smelly. My 7weeks old use it for 3days and now i am shifting back to huggies.
Zero star for this brand.
Pls do a favor remove this crap from the market. Do not torture the poor innocent newborn babies. Thanks
Shocking – Every single nappy Leaks from my baby’s back. We've gone through changing the clothes almost every 3 hr. First i thought they might be still loose but after a month he gained some weight was still leaking.
Leaks with EVERY nappy – Bought these rather than Huggies since Baby Bunting was having a sale. We are shocked that with every nappy there are Leaks from our babies back. We've gone through 3 sets of clothes in a day because of this. Save yourself grief and go with Huggies newborn. Snuggier fit and literally no leaks. Show details
Doesnt hold poop at all – Holds large quantity of wee. One poop, and the whole stuff is out onto the clothes. Doesnt hold newborn poop at all! Waste of money. Wouldnt recommend for newborn at all Show details
Zero stars – Bought these for my 3 week old as it was easier than running to aldi to get our usual nappies when we ran out. These are the worst nappy I've ever used. My poor child was drenched with every nappy leaking. Bedding needed changing, he was forever wet, how can you sell such crap to use on a poor newborn. Wish I could give zero stars. Show details
Terrible nappies!! – Worst nappies we've bought. In one day I had to change my son 3 times as they soaked right through the nappy & clothes. On the second day my son was sound asleep and he woke screaming from his sleep because he was soaked AGAIN. Now I know why they were so cheap. cheap nappies leaked every time I used them on my son soaking through his clothes too
Best Nappies! – BabyLove are hands down the best brand of Nappies I have ever used. I could never go to another brand :) I have tried others based on other people's recommendations but in my opinion nothing could top Babylove. It holds in everything (besides poosplotions but nothing can hold those in lol). Everything Little pricey but worth it
No Good :-) – Thought I'd go for a bit more of a cheaper option than the huggies nappies, as I seen the new add on tv baby love kept their babys dry all night. Not true. Every monrning I had to change everything even the sheets. The nappys are gaping, so poo just come straight out. they dont fit right at all! As soon as he did a wee it would be all through his… Read more
clothes! So much for the 'dry wave'. Cheaper nappies but I will be returning to the huggies brand even though they are expensive they are worth it!
Purchased at: Woolworths
Not right in the bum – I recently purchased them due to their dry wave technology seen on T.V. They do hold a lot of wetness but don't seem to fit. My baby seems to have a plumbers crack every time I change her and the elastic tabs always come undone. I will definitly go back to huggies, as my husband won't put on the baby love nappies due to their "squareness" around the legs when doing them up. Holds wetness Shape, doesn't fit the bum area well, tabs are ineffective

Worked great – We bought these nappies when they were on sale and have been really impressed with them. We have had a few number 3 explosions, but we have had that happen with huggies and pampers, it just can't be avoided all the time-babies just do these things. My only complaint is that there is no elasticated waist so when we had those big explosions, it… Read more
came out the back of the nappy, not just the legs. We will be trialling snugglers next as they do have the elasticated waist.
They leak really badly – Bought these on offer in coles. they are very soft and seem quite comfortable but they leak very badly. I have to change her outfit every time she fills her nappy - tiresome. I'm going to change brands, probably back to Coles own brand or something like that. I would not recommend. Soft, ok for wee Leakage
Best out of all brands ive tried – I found this brand to be excellent. I was given huggies, aldi brand and baby love as gifts and samples and I found the baby love to be the best fit. These were the only ones out of the brands tried that did not leak, with the exception of one poo explosion that came out one leg. My bubs sleeps anywhere between 3 - 5 hours and there are no leakage issues. Great fit and no leaks. Easy to use with re tighten tabs
You get what you pay for – I'm generally happy with this nappy as newborns go throw so many nappies anyway so the nappies don't have to hold so much before they get changed. My baby grew out of Huggies quickly and Babylove fits him longer in the same size. One thing i don't like it, Babylove seems a bit short and my baby had a few accidents in it. Price when it's on special Nappies run a bit short on the back
Perfect for my tiny Newborn – These nappies look big but my little man wears them well. In fact, they fit him better than Huggies Newborns which gape around his legs. Only had one explosion which went up his belly and down his leg. I don't think any nappy would have contained that!! Really happy with the Babylove Newborn nappies. Not as costly as other brands Could do with some elastication at the back/waist but not essential
Never again! – Thought I'd go for a bit more of a cheaper option than the huggies nappies and as soon as I put these on my DD the sticky tabs dont even stick down! The nappy was gaping, they dont fit right at all! As soon as she did a wee it would be all through her clothes! So much for the 'dry wave'. Proud to say I will be returning to the huggies brand even… Read more
though they are expensive they are worth it!
Leaking, dont fit bubs bottom properly, gaping at front, tabs dont stick! blurgh horrible!
Worst nappies ever used – I recently did my shopping online at coles and instead of sending me the usual huggies newborn nappies they substituted them as they had none left in stock and i was sent a pack of the babylove newborn nappies... i was really disappointed with these and after using 3 of them i will be throwing the rest of the pack away... They are terrible fits,… Read more
hardly any elastic in them to securely hug babys body...What dry wave technology??? after 2 pees my little daughter had wet bits. Huggies are def much better!
terrible fit (not enough elastic, too big) cheap feeling material
Only ok – Not a lot of elastic in them and they did not contour enough around bubs bottom they are quite baggy unlike huggies which are figure hugging. It would be good if they had a nicer design and a wetness indicator would be helpful. The absorbancy is fairly good but I prefer huggies overall. Reasonably priced No wetness indicator, not enough elastic, ugly design, does not fit very well, a disappointment compared to huggies
Bad fit! – I was given 3 bags of newborn nappies and tried them on bub a few times and they were terrible! My son is small but these have NO elastic in them at all! They gaped every time I tried them on him! He never wore one long enough to even wee in it!!! I also don't like the Wiggles pattern. Bad fit, ugly pattern
would not rate – I want the old nappies back the new baby love nappies are not made out to what they say. Only suitable for younger babies I would say. I'm using twice as much nappies as more on my twin boys compared to the old baby. Love. Nappies so Iam looking at other brands.
Not all they were cracked up to be! – These nappies do not last through the night like they claim to. Most nights I am up changing my sons nappies and he is not dry, his skin is wet with wee! We will finish the box and then time to switch brands I think. Sorry BabyLove! Just not what I thought... Inexpensive, nice design Didn't do what it claimed to be able to do
Great quality & price – Whilst pregnant lot of people told me that the only nappies worth buying were Huggies. I hated Huggies as every time my daughter wore then she would end up wet, they never held anything in. We use cloth during the day and only use disposables for night time so we can avoid nappy changes at night. I've used BabyLove for over six months now and they… Read more
are very reliable. The dry wave feature works really well, they are cost effective and we've never had any issues with nappy rash. Highly recommend. quality, price, design. Have found sizing a little small in infant size.
Fantastic value for money! – I love these nappies as they feel excelent quality and value for money. They dont feel cheap and thin like some "cheap" nappies, an they are not as frilled as "Huggies". A good in between range of nappy that keeps baby dry. Can be used all night with baby. At about 33 c each, it is a good middle of the range nappy. Good thick nappy with good absorbency, easy to close and re tighten tabs. Does not leak unless soaked!!
