I was a regular customer of Baskin-Robbins Riverlink for six months and had spent hundreds of dollars there in the form of getting a sundae after visiting a restaurant in the foot court next door or buying a thick shake after grocery shopping. One evening during a major public event at Riverlink, after I made a purchase and left the store, a… Read more
large member of staff in their forties or fifties stalked me through the complex before finally confronting me in the undercover car park in a hostile manner.
The employee made accusations, mentioned private staff details including staff names and their employment details, and did so in front of customers entering the complex gathering considerable attention.
When I demanded evidence to support his accusations against me, the staff member refused to provide any details and instead revealed that he was digitally stalking me, and finally departed.
I felt threatened. I felt unsafe. I felt sick to the core. I felt that I was possibly going to have to defend myself from a physical attack.
After the confrontation, I was unable to eat my $34 purchase and dropped it in the bin.
I chose to contact Baskin-Robbins Head Office, and I now regret not contacting the police.
Baskin-Robbins Head Office endorsed the actions of the staff member.
They made no apology for his unprofessional conduct. They offered no reimbursement for the product that simply could not be eaten after the hostile event.
Most importantly, they offered no evidence, and when evidence was demanded in response to their weak reply to my complaint, they simply refused to respond.
It is quite clear to me that I have been the victim of in-store gossip and defamation in an environment that encourages such behaviour.
I strongly warn other regular customers and potential future customers that Baskin-Robbins not only considers this acceptable practice, but also endorses it and has no intention of changing it.
I would not recommend Baskin-Robbins to families or to women who are alone, because you could find yourself the target of in-store defamation by staff, resulting in large males in their forties or fifties stalking you into car parks, trying to find out your personal details, possibly even your address, and harassing you as you are going to your car.
Ipswich Baskin-Robbins is not a family business and I would consider it an unsafe environment..
Maybe its a cultural thing, the lady was polite and professional but obviously not 'friendly'. No problem there, at $10 for 1 scoop I'll probably not be back in a hurry. Show details

I got a 2 scoop cup with cookie dough and cookies and crème. As always it’s kinda powdery but like that’s a normal thing. But then there was something crunchy and I was super confused, I’m like 90% it was caramel, so they probably accidentally put caramel in it because it was like a small amount. And I found a weird yellow thing in it, I don’t… Read more
know what it is but I have a photo with a cookie dough piece and the yellow thing to show it’s something different. My mum got it on uber eats so I don’t have an invoice number or at least I don’t know how to get it.
Baskin Robbins Harbour Town Why advertise the Dragon Cup outside your store and all over it inside as well as in the Cinema next door when you do not have any I had 3 kids on school holidays we bought other items from you and you couldnt even give us 1 of the cards for some lame reason, thanks for looking after the children (NOT) Pretty poor Show Baskin
I visited the shop in gateway at 15/3/2025 1600. The crew that was in Baskin and robbins. I politely ask to split the scoop burger if possible so my kids can share. His response was” if i split the burger the ice cream will melt”. I told him okay. I ended up just agreeing and doing it myself. I am surprise because the company probably authorises… Read more
only the use of flaming swords and laser blades. Never the less i would never go back there. By the way i attached a photo what the scoop burger looks like as i split it. The company needs to review their work culture as it seems i wasnt the only one who had the negative experience. The crew just wants the interaction to end, no recommendation or attempt to upsell.
Save Your Money and Buy Anywhere Else – Purchased an ice cream from the Top Ryde store last night, which was delivered by Uber Eats. The cost of the ice cream was $20 and what I got was less than half a cup full (and it was not melted). The product is not represented as being this small. 'Tiny' is the best descriptor. Surely this is the most I have been scammed in my long purchasing… Read more
career. I'm not after a refund as it is not worth my time. It is worth protecting others, so I will talk with Fair Trading next week.
Avoid Baskin n Robins Coomera – Product I received was about 1/2 the size advertised. Very expensive for what I got. Told staff. The didn’t care. Show details

Perfect service – I came into Baskin Robbins with my kids on Tuesday the 22nd of November and it was the best experience. The workers were lovely and the service was amazing. I definitely will be coming back, the ice cream was delicious and I can’t get over about how nice the girls were. 10/10 customer services!!! Show details
I love this place!! – Baskin and Robbins are so amazing, they have the best flavours and the customer service was brilliant. They were so nice, and the ice cream was very creamy. Definitely worth it. Love the late hours that they are open for a good late-night snack (❁´◡`❁) Show details

I went there and walked out empty handed got the 2 scoops of ice cream and they’re dead flies in there and I went back to get a refund and they said they couldn’t give me Show details
Bad taste in mouth due to online complaint – Make sure your getting all your components before you pay. if not speak up. Customer service is terrible online complaints make excuses which make it worse. Pictures displayed are incorrect to what you get. For what it costs make sure your getting your items. Love the flavours but unfortunately last experience has left a bad taste in my mouth to go elsewhere.

Fat Shaming at Baskin Robbins’s – Terrible, this Baskin Robbin’s customer service was horrendus to say the least. I was fat shamed! This left me feeling unworthy and the laughing after the rude comments from the staff was so rude. Show details
Very underwhelmed – My first time in a BR store. Couldn't believe the price but the worst part was the mediocre tasting icecream. I was led to believe it was quality icecream. No, it wasn't. Halfway through the overpriced cone I just wanted to throw it in the bin but no bins around after we had left the store. It has been grating on me how I paid good money for rubbish. To Baskin Robbins - if you ever had a good reputation, do something to get it back. Show details
Update display boards! – Instead of having a large, TALL, vertical sundae advertised on the boards, I would suggest displaying what customers expect to actually receive. A small coffee cup of melted disappointment. Show details
Disgusted – Ordered a waffle two scoops of icecream via Uber Eats. Received a three inch waffle which was doughy and uncooked in the middle and not edible., No topping and one tiny scoop of icecream and very expensive.. Disgusting and only icecream edible. I will never go there again.
Love potion – So sad they’ve change the flavour slightly and taken out a lot of the chocolate hearts. Probably be the last time I buy it now. Used to love the flavour raspberry/vanilla with gooey raspberry centre love heart shaped chocolate bits which was an amazing over load. This time around there was hardly any chocolate bits through the ice cream. That’s… Read more
what Makes it. $54 dollars a large tub. I don’t feel like I’m getting my moneys worth. Time to find new ice cream. Probably go back to NZ tip top ice cream.
This is so perfect – I got over $30 and I won the pillow case because I spent over $30
Lazy Staff At Entertainment Quarter Sydney – Went to watch a movie today at noon. Noticed the counter empty and the ice cream cooler doors all open . After the movie at 2pm went to order take home tubs. The door of the refrigeration unit on both sides still open. The ice cream was noticeably SOFT. I asked the server to scoop from the bottom as it was all soft. She was displeased and said she… Read more
had been busy and the doors are left open on the ice cream fridges. I insisted on her rescooping the harder part and she was rude and commented "if you don't like it then you don't have to buy it". Is that how a customer is treated? The refrigeration doors must be kept closed, even in between customers. They are leaving it OPEN so the ice cream gets soft and its easier to scoop - PURE LAZINESS. A report to NSW health will see an end to this!

Don't buy gift vouchers! – In past years, I have enjoyed using my gift voucher at B-R. Now they have changed it, so you have to download an app. That's fine, but it won't let you progress unless you provide credit card details. I don't have a credit card, so I have emailed B-R to ask if there is a way I can still have my voucher redeemed - twice. In both cases I have… Read more
received an auto-reply to say they will get back to me within 24 hours. The first email was sent 3 months ago. I sent another last week. I would have expected at least a courtesy reply with an apology to let me know the voucher isn't worth the paper it's printed on if you don't have a credit card. I used to visit B-R regularly, now I refuse to walk into a store. I will keep trying to contact them, but I won't hold my breath for an answer!
Some of the most awful tasting ice-creams I have ever eaten – This feedback is about the quality of products that BR have. Last week, we (3 of us including a 5 year old girl) ordered the following at a BR outlet: a waffle cone with Amazing Raisin and Chocolate Praline scoops, Fudge with Coffee scoop and Cotton Candy in the unicorn cup. The only thing that we could barely finish was the Fudge. We couldnt… Read more
even go thru half of the rest of the other ice-creams because they were extremely horrible tasting! The Amazing Raisin had an awful chemically taste to it, and all ice-creams were so sweet that it could make one throw-up! I was quite distraught by the money I wasted on such poor quality product, and vowed never again to try BR!
Total rip off – $11.50 for 2 tiny little tubs of ice cream. The little tubs may be about 100 grams each . So for my reckoning , you are paying about $50 a kilo for ice cream . They did not taste anything special . Total rip off.
Hahahahaha just look at the pictures – This is what i got for $100 plus dollar cake. Make you own judgement when getting an ice cream cake from here. I understand that i cant get exact same from the website but make an effort when making the cake Show details
Total rip off!!! – We ordered a 6" Chocolate Tuxedo Cake - advertised as "Choc Chip Cookie Dough ice cream lovers. chocolate icecream, covered in m&ms, no cream at all.
We could have gone down to Woolworths and got a tub of chocolate icecream, turned it over and covered it with m&ms for less than $10.

No thanks! – Tasted like fiber glass/sand!! Frostbitten maybe but when I returned it moments after purchase the shop (Baskin Robbins/Mrs Fields Moorabbin DFO) refused to replace/refund. Terrible experience and terrible ice cream. Show details
It’s the most expensive ice cream in the world – Ordering a couple of take home tubs from Uber eats will set you back nearly $60!!! Outrageous and scandalous. Even one, two, three scoop sundaes are ridiculously overpriced. It’s ice cream not monatomic gold!!
Overpriced mediocrity – We have been very fond of Baskin Robbins Cookies-n-Cream cake and were buying it regularly for family celebrations for the last several years. Not cheap by any means (at first price was $30 and now $69 for a large one) but quite delicious. Unfortunately the one that we purchased for Christmas this year was a huge step back. Starting with… Read more
price: $69.90 for 1.5 kg ice cream cake (not custom made) seems like way too much. Then the packaging: instead of sturdy box that could be used a number of times they now get packaged into flimsy carton that barely keeps the weight of the cake, gets torn easily and can not be used more than once.
Most importantly, the product quality deteriorated beyond imagination:
- cream was replaced with bitter substance which is impossible to swallow;
- cookies in the ice cream were not crumbled as before but were left as large pieces inside and are hard to chew;
- we all had a funny bitter aftertaste that left an impression of a cheap product.
All in all, ANY ice cream with cookies from your local supermarket is way better than Cookies-n-Cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Furthermore, it also is at least 10 times cheaper even though it may not look as fancy.
Not all that glitters is gold.
Bye, Baskin Robbins.
