so do we purchase a new washer or put up with the noise and continue to buy spar parts ?

I'm not impressed – Now 6 years old but has never been impressive. We have replaced the pump - at a cost of $300, the cutlery basket and now the lower drawer wheels have broken. Can't buy replacement wheels, have to buy a complete drawer at $120+. Wish I had bought a new dishwasher when the pump went and flooded the kitchen. In a quandary - new drawer or new… Read more

dishwasher? This is also in a Metricon home - builder supplied. Hope they no longer use Baumatic. Exhaust fan also needs replacing after falling apart.

Crappy – Cant fit anything in as the shelves are too close together. No glasses fit in the top because of ridiculous cutlery shelf. Also have stove top and exhaust fan neither of which work very well. Also we have an oven which makes a loud whistling noise. Cheap and nasty - certainly would not recommend.  Show details

5 years no problem – I had this dishwasher for 5 years with no problem. We are a family of 4. We don't rinse our Plates before hand , just clear most loose excess food off. It cleans well, dries well, relatively quiet ....and live having a helping hand in the kitchen every day. To our family this product is a blessing.  Show details

I can never get it to work properly. like the other BAD product – We rebuit our kitchen and employed badmatic products right through. Microwave has been swapped out under warranty twice before I swapped out for another brand. Dishwasher is the poorest aplliance in the house not to mention the door has rusted up quite badly as well... so much for stainess steel. Advice.... pick another brand -period.

Never again will I own a Baumatic – After 8 warranty calls, threats of Fair trading our 4 year old dishwasher will be thrown out. The half wash disengaged after 3 months because it locked on. Dishes come out dirtier than when they are put in 60%of the time despite using the most expensive finish dish washing tablets and cleaning the filter every time and only ever using the longest… Read more

pot wash. To get a good result you need to thoroughly wash dishes prior to packing in d'washer. Which defeats the purpose of dishwasher. Also have to stack dishes 2 spaces apart which means only 6 dinner plates will fit, otherwise it does not clean in between them. Although we live 50km from the coast it rusted the stainless steel door with in 2 years. If you drop top basket down to fit in wine glasses, you cannot fit plates in bottom rack. Cutlery basket started to fall to pieces after 2 years. Rubber seal falls out and needs to be pushed in nearly every time you pull out the drawers. The rollers on the top drawer started to fall off just out of warranty meaning loaded drawer would just fall when trying to pull it out. Would not recommend anything Baumatic. I have had warranty on every Baumatic appliance in my kitchen. None work properly. Horrendous warranty

Got my evening back – Dishwasher was installed December 2010 and has been used 70% of the time , dishes are clean and there is no mess around the filter and drain. The programme buttons are easy to use and you can wash the top half of the shelf if it's only half full or wash both shelfs Very happy

OK – we will be building later this year and if the other baumatic products are as good as their dishwasher and oven then we will buy buamtic we got this dishwasher after our dishlex died....really happy with the space inside and the top shelve is able to go lower and higher for big trays and bowls. delay timer is good with young kids. nothing to say here at this stage yet

Terrible – Would never own another Baumatic appliances, they are rubbish. We were dealt bad cards because it's what our builder installed, have complained to the company with no response. Worst dishwasher I've ever, washes dishes poorly, loud, noisy and has already need fixing twice under warranty, no wonder they offer a 3 year warranty.
