Bebe Care Caprice

Excellent – I spent a lot of time researching prams while I was pregnant, and decided that I wanted one with a reversible seat. My husband and I went to various baby shops to see some and test them out. We both liked the Bebe Care Caprice straight away. It is similar to the Steelcraft Strider, and almost identical to the Childcare Hola, but the Bebe Care… Read more
Caprice won out in the end. We've had a lot of comments about the look of the pram, people think it's very trendy looking and think it would have cost a lot of money (but it didn't!).
The rear wheels are narrower than the Strider (which were far too wide in my opinion) and the bassinet turns into the stroller seat, unlike the Strider which has 2 separate pieces (and the bassinet costs extra). The interior is a neutral pattern, and is very warm and cozy for baby in the colder months. My son has fallen asleep in his pram numerous times so it must be comfy. It is a really easy pram to push, it turns a very tight circle and the handle is adjustable so it's good for tall husbands to have a push. I have yet to use the pram in the upright stroller mode as my son is still quite young, but I have tried setting it up and it's easy to do and looks good. The accessories that come with it are a rain cover, sun shade, foot muff (zips onto the lining to keep baby warm), change mat and nappy bag (which can be hung from the handles and held in place). The pram is easiest put in the car if the seat is removed from the frame, and this is quicky and easy to do. The seat has 3 recline positions.
After all the time I spent researching prams, I was worried that I would end up with something I wasn't happy with, but that hasn't been the case. This is a great pram and I feel sorry for all the mothers I see at the shops pushing around yucky, cheap looking prams! Very snazzy looking, great turning circle, lots of accessories, can be used from birth to 4 years A bit heavy to get in & out of the car (14kg - but I'm only small!), shopping basket is a bit small, would have been nice to have a drink holder
Excellent – I looked at a lot of prams and this was one both my husband and I loved immediately. Our priorities were a 4 wheeler that we could take on beach walks, not too heavy, good looking, quality but not too expensive and I really wanted a bassinet to use when bub was little. My baby is now 12 weeks and I still use it in bassinet mode (although you can… Read more
elevate the back a little in this mode too, which I do if he's just fed) and it has been invaluable as he sleeps very comfortable in it wether we are walking or just out at lunch. The extras such as sun cover, rain cover and matching attachable nappy bag are great. I use the sun cover (with 75% UV ray blocking) every day when I go walking, no messing around with tying sheets to the pram like I see so many others doing. We bought the chocolate colour which I love and won't show up dirt as it gets older, but the chilli colour is very nice too. Overall we am very happy with our choice. Would definately recommend the Bebe Care Caprice. Bassinet becomes upright stroller so no extra cost for a bassinet. Looks fantastic. Rear or forward facing on both modes. East to use with great turn circle. Came with loads of extras that would normally cost a fortune on other prams like the strider or phil&teds. A four wheeler with large back wheels similar to the three wheelers but safer as there is no risk of the pram off balancing. A little heavier than some other prams, but seperatates into the base and bassinet which makes it lighter to put into car in two peices. Could be bulky in a smally car - it does fit in my small car but its a hatch-back, which probably has better boot space than a small sedan.
Good – It is a great pram, easy for sitting and sleeping. Easy to push, smaller in width then other prams, great buy with loads of extras Great extras, easy to push, height adjustable handle which is great as my husband is tall and I am short, all in one no need to buy extras (bassinette)use from birth to toddler a little bulky, 2 air tyres
Good – Great value for money pram. What a shame they've discontinued this stroller - it seems to not be available anymore. The replacement is not nearly so cool! I feel it compares most favourably to the Strider and even the Bugaboo and because it's so economical I feel like I've really found myself a bargain. Wonderful smooth steering after the 'truck'… Read more
we had before! Love the bassinet to seat all in one feature - no extra pieces to buy. Very trendy looking without the price tag. Narrower than most similar prams with the same shape, so easier to manoeuvre One of the front wheel locks is a little fidgety. I wish I could it could fold up in one action instead of having to separate the two pieces.
Excellent – I spent hours researching prams before narrowing my search to this and one other. On the day that I went to purchase it, the Caprice was on special and the other one wasn't, so while my final decision was purely financial my partner and I are very happy with this pram! Our baby's big sisters can easily push the pram around the house. The lining… Read more
is a bit warm in the summer, so we took it out and lined the bottom of the bassinet with a thin blanket instead. The sun shade is great and very easy to use. Get this pram - it's fantastic!!! Looks great - we get lots of comments. Very good turning circle. Pushes easily and has lots of useful bits and pieces. The adjustable handle means that I can lower it to gently roll the stroller back and forth to get my baby to sleep while I am sitting down. My baby sleeps in the bassinet all the time and it's easier than having a cot next to my bed at night. The matching nappy bag is a real bonus, and the lining washes easily in the machine. Easily dismantled to be put into the car. An excellent unit for the price!!! One of the front wheel locks goes on of its own accord pretty regularly, which is a bit annoying.
Good – We have been really happy with this pram, its smart, affordable and easy to use. I dont think that it is any heavier than other brands. it collapses easily and when the brake stopped - clicking in properly it was taken fixed and returned within a week no questions and no problems. Fantastic service. The only problem I have with it at the moment… Read more
is now my son is nearly a year old I feel be is outgrowing the seat as it all folds up. but having said that I am probably just wanting a new pram!! the way it is a bassinet first is absolutely superb and its so cozy and I felt great putting him in it as a new born - it was definitely a second home/cot!
All in all a GREAT BUY!! :)) smart, affordable, user friendly. Cozy, I personally having used it for the last year think that we need a ´better´ seat for my now nearly walking son who likes to hop in and out and is a bit bigger than the average bear!
OK – Fantastic pram with great wearing material and has a sleeping bag like attachment thats warm and cosy for winter. You need a large boot though and it is not as easy to pack away as a basic pram. I used this pram as a bassinet for my baby to sleep in at night as it was a perfect size and easy to relocate to another room in the house. You need to… Read more
hard a large boot to fit the pram in as the bassinet part detaches leaving you with 2 parts to fit into the boot. I found this pram to be really expensive (i didn't shop around however) and found that the 2 front wheels kept unlocking making it hard to steer as they locked onto sraight steering.
