Overall: I really don't like this monitor, for some reason I much prefer the image quality on my old Diamond View 15" monitor, there is something about the brightness and the contrast on the Benq that I don't like, I can't get it to a nice setting that isn't too hard on the eyes. I really do get sore eyes from using this monitor, something which has never happened with me after using any other LCD monitor before.
Note that the pixels are smaller on this LCD, and closer together than on any other LCD I've used, which dosen't help either, I should have bought a 22" I suppose. (same resolution but with bigger picture)
An extremely annoying thing happened today, where neither my Mac or PC would display the screen at the native resolution of this monitor, all I got on the screen was "out of range" (displayed from the within the monitor's firmware/operating system) So I turned the screen on and off and it worked again. I have had weird issues like this before, and always thought it was something I had done wrong, but now I wonder if it was the screen going wierd.
I would also recommend trying before you buy (Yeah its a pain convincing the retailer to get it out of the box for you to try it but its better than being dissappointed)
Overall: The first thing you notce when you take this BenQ out of its box is that its really easy to lift it out of the box thanks to its sleek design and its not that heavy. have to admit that the images looke impressive no oversaturation. High definition movies Shows equally excellent.
Not just because it has the widest array of inputs that I’ve seen in a desktop display monitors, but the quality of its Display is equally impressive aside from its truly incredible price definitely this is the one to buy.
The FP202W V3's wide-screen design provides more than 43 centimeters of screen width, allowing you to display and comfortably read two pages of text side by side. At the same time, the format preserves the display of content such as wide format notebook, DVD movies and games in their original glory without cropping or compression.
