Alright – There are a lot of pros and cons to this pram. I love using it around my little country town it goes everywhere and unlike 3 wheelers has never been knocked over by the dogs etc. It works so well in the fixed 4 wheel position but I have had issues with it in the articulated mode as it wobbles around if you want to walk faster. I've also found… Read more
that when I get really into walking the handle isn't far enough away so I trip over the pram. My son is nearly 4 years old and he still fits in it and is happy to climb in and go for a ride. Bubs number 2 is on the way and I've got the toddler board so that will be handy. The bassinet was where number 1 spent a lot of time in the first couple of months. It was great for when we went to friends houses as we would just bring the pram and have his bed. The basket I just took off as I had read the reviews about the basket falling off. The fact that you get to choose if the seat is forward or back facing is great so many conversations had between myself and my son. Then as he was more talkative we turned it around to talk about what was going on around us. The pram is big and cumbersome to get in and out of the car. Size, different modes articulated and set. Four wheels, choose which way the pram faces, the bassinet Handle not long enough, basket falls off
The worst pram ever! – Whilst the pram looks great and I get a lot of comments about it, it really is the pits and I wish I never bought it! It is REALLY heavy, the basket space is small and the basket always falls off (I've attached mine with wire), and it is impossible to turn around with it in a small space because the wheels don't pivot (you basically have to do a… Read more
massive 3-point turn). It's also hard to fit through narrow shopping aisles (it's very wide), and the fact that you have to take off the seat to fold it down is so annoying! It also takes up a massive amount of space in the car (I have a 4WD and there's no room for anything else in the back). The handle is poor quality - not strong enough for bite marks from my son! I could go on!! It was quite expensive and I wish I had just bought a cheap brand. Steer clear of this pram!!!!!! the colour (green) expensive, difficult in tight spaces, heavy, dodgy basket, hard to turn around in tight spaces
Would choose an alternative – It's comfortable and flexible ( flat/ upright forward/rear facing) and great off road but it's just too big and heavy. We ended up purchasing an alternative for taking in the car and just using this pram for walks around the neighbourhood. Looks really cool. We have lime green which is awesome. Very flexible - have used from newborn to 12 months… Read more
so far. Great for off road. Main thing is that its too big and heavy. I can barely lift it in and out of the car and it only fits in out 4wd not our sedan. Basket I always falling off.
Good – This is the second pram that we have bought as I wasn't happy with the first one we purchased. We really love this pram and consider it money well spent, it is functional comfortable for mum and bub and very easy to use. We would buy it again. We bough this with the glider seat only as didn't think a basinett was necessary as it lies flat. … Read more
Which is a real plus as there is less outlay and less to store. We also bought the toddler seat and buggy board so it grows with our family, so many prams don't do that these days! The seat is incredbly spacious and comfortable, my bub is big and is very comfy and will remain so into toddler years. and it will hold a child up to 20Kg, what a rarity! The fabric of the seat is breathable and allows for ventialtion (great in the tropics) We love the seatbelt its so easy to use and is safer than other models we have used, much less likely to hurt little fingers and legs. It has a good canopy and boot cover. Everything is really sturdy and well made, the stearing is fabulous and has the best suspension of any pram I have tried. Its easy to use and adjust without disturbing baby. It is quite wide and you have to you the wheelchair access isle at the supermarket. Doesn't have a sunshade UPF cover available you have to buy a generic one if you need this feature. It is big when folded so you need to have the boot space. We have the lime green colour which is lovely but does mark easily scotchguard is a good idea. They do have a capsule available to make it a travel system however it is not approved for use in Australia, which is frustrating. Lastly it is in the more expensive price bracket.
Good – Been in use for 5 months now since our lil one was newborn. Has grown with her so easily. From flat to upright, face us or face out its very versatile and will continue to grow with her. Shopping basket is huge and we find it very useful. It drives effortlessly and folds down easily. It is a biggish pram when it is folded down though. We have 2 x… Read more
4wds so no drama for us, but wouldn't own it if you had a hatchback. Looks, Basket space, adjustable sitting positions, well made with good materials size once folded down
Good – Great pram if you dont need basket space. Excellent to use in the shops as while it appears large it fits easily in stores without any hassle. Doesnt fold down well so not much good if you are using it for the car all the time but it is EASY to fold down and light to pick up but HUGE and will take all your boot space. As per my previous review all… Read more
the pros are the same but it ISNT as big as I thought!! Basket SUCKS. I loved the concept at first but after 6 weeks of use it is CONSTANTLY falling off mid walk which is a PITA. Have had it fall off mid way across busy roads. Bertini have not responded to my complaint in anyway regarding the basket. Worst part is when it falls off, it gets grazes on the fabric which are becoming holes. :( I habe resorted to not using the basket anymore as it is far too dangerous. REAL BAD POINT but I will say the ONLY bad point (very annoyed at Bertinis lack of concern over this matter too.
